Don't be overly concerned with the weight drop. You may be losing body fat but gaining lean muscle mass. Are you doing your BF measurements weekly with your caliper?

Yes... I will post the updated "vitals" (already taken this morning) later tonight after picture time... So not looking forward to picture time.

On the upside I am pretty confident that I am going to do a 5x5 routine to hit the "big lifts" and capitalize on the Natadrol / move to Formadrol... I hope to put the size on that I am looking for and have the new lean muscle weight start beat the crap out of the, well, crap weight... Time to go buy and olympic bar and get even more serious...

PIC ADDED TONIGHT - Wife was tied up with school work and could not break away to take pics... I think I look even "softer" this week.



All in all I feel good but am not pleased with the current work out. Went and picked up more weight last night and migrated to a 5x5 in hopes of building a better / bigger base to start refining in a few months. Set max's to begin the madness.

Legs are weak to be sure... While they have been worked they have not recieved the same level of attention over the past few years. This IS changing!!! I will build my legs again.

Tonights work out:

Squat: 5x90 - 5x125 - 5x 150 - 5x170 - 5x195 (ya ya ya... I know, low!)

Bench: 5x120 - 5x150 - 5x180 - 5x210 - 5x245 (last set was HARD)

Rows: 5x55 - 5x70 - 5x80 - 5x95 - 5x110

Finished with weighted crunches 3 sets of 20 and body weight dips 10,10,7

I am hopeful that the added rest / recovery built into this split will do my body some good and allow it to grow.

I am also cutting back (far from zeroing) carbs on non training days. I am looking forward to posting small dead lift numbers on Monday. PROGRESS WILL BE MINE!!!!!

Yes, I am tempted to up the Natadrol to 8 caps a day but again, this is only 2 full weeks into the cycle. Undecided.

Day 16 on the Natadrol...

Yesterday was a rest day on the 5x5 so I rested. Felt odd not being out in the garage working out!!!! I wanted to lift soo bad but I forced myself to rest.

Today I had the increased carbs as it was a work out day.

I love the added carbs!!!!

Felt pretty good today despite a good bit of crap in the office!

Anyway:

As previously covered WEAK LEGS -

Squats - 5x100 - 5x125 - 5x150 - 5x150

Military Press - 5x70 - 5x85 - 5x95 - 4x110 (for the life of my could not get that last one up)...

Deadlift - 5x115 - 5x140 - 5x165 - 5x190

Funny story; all of these months of the leverage system I just stack plates and count plate weight... The above weights are what I was scheduled to deadlift so I stuck that weight on the new olympic bar... DUH, the bar weighs another 45 never noodled through why I was struggling so much with the weight until after the sets. 115 was 160, 185, 210, and 235... While these #s are not going to impress too many folks, it felt great to me!!! Making progress!!!!

Still contemplating the bump to 8 Natadrol but am not clear on the preffered dosing. 2-2-2-2 or 3-2-3 etc????
 
Hey man, you suck at judging your own photos, but it's ok, because I think we are ALL way to critical of ourselves. I can see a VERY clear recomp. Your abs are showing, they weren't showing in your before photo. It actually looks like you have lost 2 or 3% BF. Looks like a significant amount of fat gone from your belly pouch and the rest of your upper body looks harder also. Need leg pics!

Great work man, good to see the Natadrol is workin for ya!

Still need someone (or more) to chime in with the recommended dosing protocal for 8. Is it 2-2-2-2 or 3-2-3 or 2-3-3 (as I have an evening work out)...

Need some education here folks! PS- the scale it pissing me off!!!! Dropping more weight! I have all but cut any dedicated cardio out of the picture and still losing!
 
I'd go 3/3/2 and dose one of those 3's an hour before you workout.

Day 18 on the Natadrol -

Still eating very well and have added calories trying to overcome this weight loss crap!!!! Again nothing all that measured but I do eat near the same thing every day so an add of a meal or a few items is easily tracked.

Worked out like a champ tonight!

Apparently Fridays in this 5x5 program make you feel like JELLO...

On the road the next few days... Packed the Natadrol and other goodies but will be severly limmited to work out / tape measure / diet.

Will do the best I can.

I am beginning the 8 a day today and will have the higher dose in the blood for my return. Pics and stats upon hitting the front door (Tuesday night).

My diet was crap with fathers day and a business trip but all and all I did OK. I am positive that this is one of the reasons I am up in weight and mid section is a bit soft. Workout going back into "prime time" and diet back on track today.

I have began the 3,2,3 protocol of the natadrol and am about ready to cycle off the OEP / Alpha T2. I am interested in what that does for my weight goals. I will ramp up the weights even more so and be even a bit more careful with the diet.

I feel great and am sleeping awesome. I am sure the increased rest has helped a great deal. I feel the size coming in, especially in my back and legs. Shoulders are doing good but my chest needs a ton of work on the inner top and outer lower pec. Carrying some excess fat there as well. I will get it sorted out.

I will be adding BCAAs to my workout routine. Will be taking it in with gatorade and creatine through out the work out. Keeping them short but intense. About 45 minutes to an hour nightly. Tonight is deads, millitary, and squats. Will update again after wards and kick this log up again.

Nice recomp action going on there man :) Abs aredefinitely popping a little more. Muscles look fuller/drier also, how o y feel?
 
I wish I saw what others see... I feel like I have a VERY long road ahead of me. I am gaining weight finally but most of it is in the mid section (its a curse)!!!!

DAY 24 on Natadrol

Again taking the 3x2x3 proto of the Natadrol and have been doing 2+2 OEP / Alpha T2 in the AM and 1+1 in the PM...

Worked out like a champ tonight and felt GREAT... I am not sure about this 5x5 but will see if through... Just wrapped up week 2 of the 12 week program.

FELT PRETTY DANG GOOD... Arms had a great pump. I never seem to get a good solid pump in my legs or chest... I have always been troubled by that but will learn to cope.

I know I am up in weight (and BF%).. Hopeing some new muscle is coming along with it! Looking forward to Monday for weigh in and measurments. Hope to see some noteable progress!
 
5x5 is pretty tried and true, stick with it! I plan on doing it when I get back from vacation with some pink magic :P

How are you liking the OEP? You look like you are definitely recomping, I know what you mean about seeing what others see lol, but its good to be hard on yourself, that way you keep going!

I feel like I am eating myself out of house and home yet can NOT put on the weight. Its like I woke up my HS metabolism... I am about ready to embrace my "body type" and stop fighting it to put weight on. Perhaps rather than shooting for 185 solid I am desitined to 175 lean(ish) and mean. Dissheartening .

The OEP / Alpha stack is great. I blame it for some of the inability to put the weight on... It has been very effective and has done as advertised for me. STRONGLY reccommend it!!!!

I feel as though the Natadrol has given me a good bump in streangth but I am not seeing size come along for the ride. The scale and mirror tell me this, but I hope my date with a tape measure tomorrow reveals somehing that my eyes are not seeing.

I do not question the product. I have had minimal at best success with some other sups along the way. I am not sure that Creatine mono does much for me but take it anyway. I had a great lightening of the wallet with USP Powerful and will not spend the $ on it ever again. I LOVE USP OEP!!!!

I am only about a month into my Natadrol. From what folks tell me this is abot the time results start showing. I hope they are right! 8 pills a day and the $ involved has me more than a bit eager to see something beyond streangth gains.

This log has gotten rather lonely. Thanks for pop'n in once and a while Votum. You look like things are happening with you and your training! Keep at it.

I'll whore your log out in other peoples threads, that's the best way to get in. I sub to like 40 threads and only check for new ones like once a week or so.

Yeah the OEP/AT2 is definitely what is holding the Natadorl back. I wouldn't say holding back though, because some people use natty on a cut and love it that way. Honestly I must say I am not getting any weight gain so far on it either, but I am getting ridiculous strength gains, considering I only paid $20 a bottle it's not so bad. I'm in my "exploration" phase with supps and am just trying everything I find on sale until I find something good.

To be honest it looks like the "natural" supps are not worth the money if you are looking for serious gains, but they do a good job augmenting good diet and training. It also seems (to me at least) that it is hard to find one that really works for you.

I don't know if Creatine works for me either, but its so cheap I don't mind lol. How long have you been taking supps and what kinds have you taken? I have heard some good stuff about something called Receptor by LG that cleans your receptors so you will be able to benfit more. If you've been on supps awhile with no long breaks it might be worth looking in to.

Yo! Subdizzled! Man, I assume you have a very good mirror but you look GREAT! Definitely some serious recomp going on. I have the same recomp going on with my Natadrol/Prime stack. I'll be adding Pink Magic and OEP in PCT so we'll just see...damn, if THAT'S what I have to look forward to, I'm PSYCHED!!!! Keep up the GREAT work!
 
Hey Martin ! I'm here, sorry I had been checking in silently but keep it up man, you're doing great!!!

If your goal in to gain LBM I would consider not running the oep/at2... I'm running it but you'll see from my log that I have a lot to lose in the mid section. I reckon if you can keep clean you should see some good lean mass gains.

I'm certainly no expert BTW just my 2 cents

I'm going to be running Nat soon, along with oep/at2... Have you been running form at the same time or just waiting for PCT, I only ask as I'm considering taking some form alongside nat.
 
BTW, the gains from Natadrol are going to be coming during that 2nd month, but you have to realize that it's more of a recomp compound than a flat out mass gainer. You are going to gain LBM, but I really only saw a few pounds on the scale itself. I lost nearly 2% bf though... so my actual gains were more like 6-8lbs.

Headache from hell today (for the past 4 days actually)...

Still eating well and still on the 8 a day. Fortunatly on this 5x5 there is no work out on the weekend. 5 - 8 pounds during this run while droping 2-3% BF would be considered a total success for me. I understand that I might get much of that from the Formadrol alone...

I have no ran the formadrol along side as it will be the PCT and will be run for 2 months. I picked up 6 bottles durring the last sale so I have a few future runs up my sleeve.

The OEP and Alpha run wrap up this week anyway (2 month run) so that will be out of the picture. I will certainly miss the morning dose and the stim effect! The combo of the Alpha and the OEP has certainly lived up the the hype and will reappear in my quest again, for sure!

Tomorrow will be Squat / Chest / Row day and the start of week 3 on the 5x5. It has been very difficult to NOT work out the otehr days and allow proper rest, one of the main premesis of the routine. Going heavy, short work outs, and allowing rest... Again, getting stronger by far but it does not seem to show... My wifeis quite happy but I am not seeing enough of a change to justify the amount of money spent.

My next experiment (months away) will be to cut all supplements except for protein, fishoil, and a multi... Lift like a beast and see what nature / God intended. They do call them supplements for a reason. I can TOTALLY see what the alure of PH's is for sure!!!!! Just can't see doing them myself especially after the ban... I get why there are some that do. To each their own.

Tricking Mother Nature seems more difficult than I ever thought.

Caved to the evil temptress (wife) and ate a pint of Ben & Jerrys last night. Tasted great but will NOT be a staple of my diet! Woke up LATE and ran out the door. Weighed myself at 175.5 but took no measurements. Will do so tonight with weekly pic etc.

Still have this ang headache as well.... It will be overpowered in the garage tonight. I will not be held back from work outs!
 
Day 27 on the Natadrol...

Cycled off of the OEP / Alpha yesterday so the Natadrol / Multi / Fish Oil / protein / BCAAs and Creatine are it...

Felt like crap all day but managed to make it home. Crashed hard for about two hours and then forced myself to get up and work out. Was not going to miss a work out day when they only happen 3 times a week...

Squat - 5x105 / 5x130 / 5x155 / 5x180 / 5x210 (pushed out another 5 cuz I could)

Bench - 5x130 / 5x160 / 5x190 / 5x225 / 5x255 (first 2 no problem - last 3 needed a bit of a spot... Pissed me off but I rushed it and did not allow enough rest between sets)

Bent Row - 5x60 / 5x75 / 5x90 / 5x105 / 5x120

Wrapped up with 15 reps of incline bench with the 50# DBs....

For how crappy I have felt, tonight was decent. I think I am lifting too light on the legs and need to correct that if I am going to progress the way I want. I also need to stop rushing the sets on the bench and lift the weight myself...

Great job Martin, I know exactly what u mean about just wanting to crash out rather than workout... Feel the same myself this morning! Had 4 hrs sleep last night and now at gym, really wanted to stay in bed BUT like you, need to max the days available in the week

I think you've made excellent progress man. You're fairly lean in the photos. Having tried a number of different supps, for me to get the most out of them I need to focus on either gaining lbm or losing fat. If do manage to get a recomp along the way, its bonus. Being natural, these supplements are not strong enough to for eg put on a decent amount of lbms whilst on a calorie deficit or even if increasing your metabolism by taking fat burners. I struggle to put on lean lbs, but i put on some solid mass when I was training heavy with testopro and glycobol and eating a massive calorie surplus. Just a suggestion, but after this recomp, pick natty test booster or equivalent and a nutrient re-partioner andjust eat and train to put on mass, then follow it up with a cut using OEP and Alpha. If your concerned, like I am, with putting too much fat, I keep my cycle short 4 - 6 weeks. This has worked far better for me than trying to put on lean mass and lose fat at the same time.
 
I've just had another look at your first photo....the difference my friend is MASSIVE. i urder you to look again and compare to your most recent photo.
 
Last minute business travel strikes again... Off to SLC for an overnight... Will get to try for a work out in the hotel gym (not known for great gyms)... Oh, and good luck finding something decent to eat in an airport. Settled for some egg and veggie thing called a Frittatta, some fruit, and a tall fruit smoothy. About as close as I could get to quality food.

To me shock and delight the hotel gym was NICE for a hotel gym. Plenty of nautilus equip. I bashed my knee into a metal desk at work today so legs went out the window. A great upperbody (chest - back - delts - bi/tri) work out was had... Felt GREAT!!!!! LOOK GREAT... And hear I sit all alone in a hotel a country away from my wife... SUCKS!!!!
 
SLC is a nice place. Check out that mall if you have time...forget what its called, big outdoor mall. There is a taco truck on the south side of it that has the BEST tripe in the world
 
Already back... In the world of IT / Systems it is not uncommon to fly an entire day to do an hours worth of work, sleep, get back an a plane and come home... This is my life. REDICULOUS...

So my last day of week 3 on the 5x5 went like this:

Squats - passed after one painful rep of not much weight...

Bench - 130x5 / 160x5 / 190x5 / 225x5 / 260x3 / 190x8

Bent over Rows - 60x5 / 75x5 / 90x5 / 105x5 / 125x3 / 90x8

Giant set of dips / overhead tricip ext / DB curls

8 body weight / 60x10 / 40x5 - 30x5
8 body weight / 60x10 / 40x3 - 30x7
8 body weight / 60x10 / 40x2 - 30x3 - 20x5

Felt great bug really missed doing a leg work out. Woke up this morning (Saturday) and rode 22 miles on the mountain bike for some legs and a bit of cardio.

Cycled off the OEP / Alpha T2 and weight has started to increase. Perhaps the jump form 6 to 8 caps of the Natadrol are helping as well? Still eating pretty right and at a surplus (what I thought was a surplus but not doing anything with the thermogenics).

Abs are going away but not by much. Mondays photos will be telling!

I'm well into my 30-plus days of Natadrol and it is one hell of a recomp partitioner. I may increase it to 10 for the last couple weeks of the cycle just to see what happens. Has the increased dosage had any effect on your libido? Any shutdown to report?

You will see the mirror results...trust me. You already said your wife likes it so far, right? Other people tend to see you more than you see yourself (trust me, I know). Keep up the great work.
 
One thing that I am noticing more on the 8 caps a day than 6 is aggresion. I am not a patient man by nature and have a really short fuse on this. I REALLY have to keep myself in check with those that I care about (family / friends)... It does me well in the garage with the weights but thats only about 3-4 hours a week on this 5x5 program.

WOW this LOG is LAGGING..... Family and other commitments have been CRAZY of late. I will have to play catch up on this but that may not happen till this weekend...

Will be going camping with my boys scout troop for 3 days.

On that note: I will be rearanging my work out schedule so as not to "miss" a work out. Is there anything to be gained by sticking at the 8 caps a day for those three days of no work out (aside from climbing, hiking, the like)... Could I cut it back to 6 or even less to keep it in my system or stick with the 8... Its only 3 days but I am down to the last bottle and want to max the use.
 
8 caps seems to be the sweet spot for most people. 6 did me fine, but I am curious to see what 8-12 does. I suppose I have to push the limits as to what I can advise upon lol.

I'm well into my 30-plus days of Natadrol and it is one hell of a recomp partitioner. I may increase it to 10 for the last couple weeks of the cycle just to see what happens. Has the increased dosage had any effect on your libido? Any shutdown to report?

8 caps seems to be the sweet spot for most people. 6 did me fine, but I am curious to see what 8-12 does. I suppose I have to push the limits as to what I can advise upon lol.

Seriously, I have it twice now! max was 8 caps 2/2/2/2 dosing.. I haven't taken anything remotely close to this. as ex said, its a hell of re comp! I haven't pushed to 10 yet, only because Ive been very pleased 6 and 8 caps.
