Hello.
Well looked who decided to come back to the party.Hello.
I'm glad to hear you didn't die troop.
I hurt my back two weeks ago, and the pain radiates into my right leg (sciatica)... almost gone now.. and i know when I start lifting next week there are a few things that I'll need to be pretty cautious of. Squats, anything bent over, deads..Good to see you are back at it Dave! I just got back into squatting too. Nerve racking that first time under the bar after an injury.

Hi fûckers. It's been a long time huh?
Well, MRI on Tuesday, got results and follow up this morning with my sports med doctor.

For those of you who don't know what all those stupid words mean, in short, I have torn a ligament that connects the adductor to the pelvis. The MRI also indicated a noticeable amount of pelvic stress at the joint (osteitis symphysis) and significant fluid buildups where the tear is.
Recovery time is from 12-36 MONTHS (not weeks). Supposedly worse than an ACL in terms of healing time.
Basically, what this says is, no squatting, no running, no deadlifting, nothing that would cause pain to the affected area (pain is not gain in this case).
Sorry for my lack of being here, but this with a lot of other things going on have taken a toll on me. The road ahead isn't paved with gold, but I'm going to do my best to stay the course and get this shît healed up. My career depends on it.
Today begins the road to recovery now that I know what's up. Expect my presence to be what it once was. This won't beat me.
Holler.
So sorry my bro. I'll be there in a few short hours to cheer you upHoller ho
nopeGroup hug in da showers??
I love you.
Sorry to hear Dave... chin up brother..
He says that to me all the time too
Well that's cause you get all pissy when gets in your eyes...
not the toes, just the heel?Heel up man!!
Damn man that's terrible. Wish you a speedy recovery bro. You ever think of getting on some GH to help the healing process??
Alright, thanks for all of the positive words fûckers. I'm here in NC now, got a pad, set up enough to live and today should begin the road to recovery and to being a cool guy.
The answer on the GH...I'm not in a position, financially, to cover the amount that I would need in order for it to be an option (as far as I know).
For now, I'll be swimming, dragging the prowler and using some sort of bodybuilding split, with leg days that don't involve the adductors.
I'll update tonight after I finish in the gym. Lots of catching up to do.
Noodz schmoodz.I'm staying in this thread for as long as it ****ing takes to see some Dave noodz!
today should begin the road to being a cool guy.
