Starting this week, we will be writing one article per week for the next 2-3 months about one topic: PROTEIN!

These articles are not just about protein powder, and some have nothing to do with Select Protein. Our goal is to help educate everyone on protein properly. There is a ton of unfortunate misinformation regarding protein floating around the internet. Some of this is from "experts" writing magazine articles since the 90's that really don't have a clue what they are talking about, while others are from protein products mass marketing and hyping incorrect information to help sell their product.

These articles will be very matter-of-fact and backed up. Feel free to follow along if you want to learn something new about protein. And make yourself the expert among your gym friends!

I will link each lesson in the first post of this thread. We are also taking requests for protein topics

Sounds like a sandwich shop

A Benedict reagent test is sensitive to lactose and could be used to indiscriminately identify low(er) protein/high(er) CHO WPC. It's an easy test to perform and can be done at home. I have seen reagent solution on eBay for around $10. Invalid Link Removed
