Primordial Performance 4-week contest for FREE AndroMass!

Todays session was absolutely brutal, Managed a bunch of PR's but it's getting more and more tough to continue progressing. It's most likely due to the dieting but i'm gonna continue to push as hard as possible on cardio and training. :006: Keep up the hard work you guys!

You are ridiculously hairy! lol

Cardio done for today burning more and more each session my endurance is definitely picking up. Diet is on point but getting a little more hungry from lifting heavier weights. Don't think i could be progressing any better! Keep at it!

Don't hate bitcheesssss! ;)

It's a great litmus test for having bad ass ab's. If you can see them through my natural sweater then I must be doing something right. Too bad now that is not the case...

Cardio done for the day. Starting to notice a good difference in my endurance. Top abs are coming in! Everyone keep working hard!

No problem, Who knows honestly? Some of the dudes love chicken, some love fish but i would probably eat 1-2 steaks so my guess is like 3 or 4 if they were hungry enough haha. That'd be so much protein it'd be ridiculous, I don't like eating steak too often it takes me forever to finish

Nothing but sabotage with meals at home, but some good sessions at the gym last week. Arms and legs were sore for a couple days, but its my own fault for letting myself get to this point. Hopefully some better shopping for next week, but my wife doesnt buy in to this making it diffcult on my own in the house. Scale says the same, but I feel a little bit better. Only get better this week.

WAR dropping 15lbs by the time this contest is over

Oh that reminds me...need to hit up the all you can eat steak place for my next cheat meal:)

Not sure how good the steak is at your buffet, but I am fairly sure it ain't better than the T bones I grilled today! 220grams sans bone w/ 61 gr of yummy medium rare charbroiled protein & all within the structure of my diet :)

That's very difficult to do it without support. Do some shopping and cooking for yourself and pack it in Tupperware. That can send a message how serious you are taking it. Otherwise you'll end up sabotaged.

sabotaged... Grandma's everywhere- "don't you want more pasta"

For the record, I'm heading to the gym right now and its the last thing in the world my body wants to do.

On one hand, my home is very food toxic (Type II Diabetes) as far as what we have here (ice cream, candy, pop tarts etc) on the other hand, my wife will buy about anything I ask her to (eggs, cottage cheese, chicken breast, lean lunch meats) and does not give my any crap about fixing items (like steamed broccoli) for me that the kids won't touch. She has had a bit of a hard time shifting from the low fat to low carb approach, but as long as I can resist what is in front of me, she makes sure I have positive alternative choices.

Where the hell is that?

They used to do it at TLC, but not anymore, but I know a manager who gets it for me still. All you can eat smoked sirloin:) Actually from what I recall they still do it once a week, but not sure which day.

Even that is a big help, having the options without folks pushing the vices.

Fortunately our son eats super healthy (for a 4 year old no less), so it's easy for us. One telling story is he had taken a bite of a donut, and my wife told him that it would make him small and weak, and he spit it out and asked for some brocolli! Serious, I've got the kid trained! He'll enjoy an ocassional sweet, but nice that we don't have to stock the house with junk!

Your commitment says a lot about your determination and IMO character. Don't ever give up, and don't let others detour or sabotage you from your goals. Be true to yourself!

Best of luck to all of you!!!

Haha a Popeye in the making! Next thing you know he's gonna start lifting things up and putting them down :D

He's already incredibly strong and muscular, does pushups, etc. He'll tackle 8 year olds and make them cry! Yeah, proud dad here!

Awesome Milas and thank you. Admit it though, you put the kid in a (B.F.) Skinner box and used a mixture of classical and operant conditioning, didn't you? :pokey: LOL.

"Donuts is the :salook:" LMFAO!

In all seriousness, that is damn good parenting by role modeling!

As an aside, a few guys have started logs for this, and tinyguy updates on his efforts daily, I may as well mention for those of you who don't know already, I have been logging my efforts since late December. Anyone interested can find it here:

LOL, yes, there has been more than just subtle conditioning! I have to worry though, kid is competitive and only wants to be bigger and stronger than daddy! When he's a teen, I'm in trouble!!!

get a copy of Gary Taubes' Good Calories Bad Calories. There's a bunch of bullcrap in it, but overall he makes some good points that may help sway her as far as the whole family goes.

dang, you guys are hitting this hard, good to see!

Just got back from cardio i can't believe how much a difference in 1 week in my endurance. Before i would be dying and now its a cakewalk so i'm gonna go back in again later and do a second session and trying to keep carbs really low today to see what happens. There's a bodybuilding competition next month my friends competing in i'm starting to contemplate just going for it for the experience and get as lean as possible. ;)

Eesh, I had an impromptu refeed weekend thanks to my wife's birthday weekend. I'm up a couple of lbs, but nothing that some sprints and reduced carbs shouldn't be able to fix.

I'm in the same boat as you. I had to loosen my belt because I had some major bloat.

Today was Viking Warrior style VO2 max snatches. I did somewhere in the neighborhood of 150 kettlebell snatches. Annd now I'm pooped.

So I'm probably the only guy up 7ish pounds on this cut. Ergggg

I'm going to carb deplete like a mofo. And I have some nutra green tea and a few different carnitine's on the way.

Not to worry, my weekend left me up some lbs as well. A slight bit of carb depletion later, I dropped 4 lbs of water as of this morning.

As for my daily activities, I did fasted cardio, followed by housework. Now I'm back on my night rotation and I'll be trying to move more while at work this week in addition to keeping the carbs low.

At least I'm not the only one having it rough... I been sick as a dog for 4 days or so but back at it today!
You know the water weight and lbs on the scale can be very confusing! I drop during the week and then bam up on the weekends LOL. but whatever, hopefully at the end of it all we all have good "mirror" results!

I'm sitting right around 231-230 so i'm approximately 3-5lbs down, I'm gonna push really hard these next 3 weeks i don't think i'll have a problem hitting my goal as long as i stay focused. Today is going to be a cheat day which i'm pretty excited, Not eating carbs sucks complete ass so i'm gonna enjoy me some burgers today *And stay under maintenance calories ;)* Plus i'm changing my training style today *slower movements* well see how this all goes! Keep at it you guys!

Keep your heads up gents, this is ultimately about a healthier and better you than winning the contest.

Why arent you eating carbs?

For one day i ate low carbs to try and "trick" my body and perhaps increase my insulin sensitivity. I'm experimenting with a lot of stuff because i ultimately want to do a show in a few months :D

No kidding! I try and stay away from the scale but sometimes I can't help it. Fortunately I was back to pre weekend weight this afternoon when I get up.

Today was a short but bitter workout. KB swings, tabata style sledgehammer-tire hits, followed by tabata style heavy KB snatches.

I'm up a pound this morning, after being out drinking till pool hall closing time last nite. skipped workout today too, way too tired on sub 4 hours sleep to do anything. Going to have to do combo shoulders + back tomorrow, yay

Just finished cardio hit 400 calories in 30minutes on stationary bike. It's really cool to see my endurance increasing. Tweaking the diet today :D

Closing pool halls rock. Especially when you make some money doing it. ;)
