PRIME time for a NEW year... NEW size... NEW gains! //GIVEAWAY//

a decntsclae does an ok job but will fluctuate based on how much water you are holding at that time so I would suggest when you take ur bf write down how much water uve taken in the few days prior and any extra carbs or sodium u may have had due to holding more water.....mre hydration usually equals a lower bf reading

Makes sense

I live in small city South Dakota lol are scales accurate though? I thought about buying one that read bf% but figured technically speaking for my height should be about 20 lbs lighter than what it would read and it can't take into account muscle development

The most expensive $$$ ones are accurate lol. If u can find one... go to a bod pod. Where do u live in SD?

I use calipers. I take 5 measurements and do the average of those. Maybe a little off but as long as you're moving to your goal, IMO doesn't matter if you're really 1.5% higher than the reading if its moving down each week.

This is smart, cheap, and effective :D

I just go by the mirror and how my pants fit.... and by what the girlfriend says of course :D gotta keep her satisfied

Correct me if I'm wrong but.... rapid isnt small lol. Aren't they like #2 biggest in SD? I was born in Newcastle Wyoming and always went to rapid.

Its 60/65k but no bod pods. The closet one is on the other side of the state.

My number one resolution is to get married :)

I'll be popping the question within the next couple months, so a lot going on (ring shopping, locking down the venue for the proposal, planning a wedding to happen sometime this Summer or Fall and all the craziness that comes along with it).

Tied into that resolution is really working out our finances and paying off her student loans as quickly as possible. I lucked out in not having any, so I'm debt free and am not fondly looking forward to taking on 40k in debt lol.

It'll be a big year :)

lol thanks, bro. As long as she gets a job quickly after finishing her student teaching in May, it shouldn't be bad. That's what I'm crossing my fingers for because we want to have a kid relatively soon and I told her we're not doing that until her debt is paid off.

Dude.. Congrats and awesome news!!! :D

Thanks, man!

Good luck MWB! Being married and having a kid is the most demanding/fulfilling thing you'll ever do. Just make sure you're both prepared for the work.

Thanks, bud. I'm only about 5 months older than her and this is her master's she is finishing, so it makes it a little bit easier to stomach the debt, because she was really smart about what she did (only has about $17k in debt from undergrad and the master's will be about $20k, which was the cheapest tuition in state by a longshot). The part that irks me is that her parents helped her younger sister out and paid her way and she also didn't even work (just graduated with her bachelor's a few weeks ago), whereas my girlfriend worked during both degrees, just like I did. That's another story, though :)

But I knew after a few months she is who I want to spend my life with. The only two things that initially slowed me down were the debt, which I got over pretty quickly and then she was raised Catholic and I go to a non-denominational church and really needed a wife who would be attending church with me and operating through marriage from the same viewpoint. After we talked about it, she's been coming with me ever since and the conversation actually made her rethink a lot of things, because she didn't even really enjoy her church, but it was habit for her. As soon as that part changed, I knew she was the one.

It's funny you mention the work, because I was just talking to one of my best friends and his wife when we were back in our hometown, last week. They both have school debt and now have a daughter who is about 10 months old. They both have really well-paying jobs, but still have about 4-5 years to pay off their debt, they said. Initially, we were wanting to get pregnant almost immediately after the wedding, because both of us imagined/assumed we'd have been married and been parents several years prior, so both of us want that and don't want to wait too long, as I'm 27 and she'll turn 27 this month. But that discussion really helped me and also got me the balls to finally ask her what the debt amount was (I previously just didn't want to know as long as possible because I was afraid to know how much we'd have to pay off lol).

Anyway, all of this made me realize that almost nothing I do in life is because of the level of ease. Being a parent will not be easy for sure, but I've wanted to be a dad for a very long time. It would be incredibly easy (and fun, in its own sense) to just get married, not have the time demands or expenses tied to a child and just live our own lives, but I know it would ultimately feel empty. I'm taking classes now to go toward a second master's degree (this one in nutrition) and I'm definitely not looking forward to the extra time demands of anatomy and physiology on top of another class, and work, and planning the wedding, but I live life to accomplish/do/have what I want and generally speaking, the things that are worth doing, are often far from the easiest route.

:)

Haha, funny you should say that, but Justin and I had already discussed this. I would invite you if you would actually make the trip down.

Bubba,I have a few more years than most on here and I can say with assurance that anything that comes from the heart is a piece of cake! Everything else takes effort and discipline.

Also for new years I want to land my 11 store accounts. If I do it right that should land me 400 bucks a store.

Marriage, where people are working out, blah blah blah. Just give me my damn prime and compound 20 and I'll be on my way...

oh t-bone, you cynical bastard. lol

Sorry. I'm not in such a good mood. A seller on Amazon ripped me off. I purchased 150 count Super Cissus and they sent the 120 count bottle. The wrote me back when I asked why and they just told me I could ship it back with a pre-paid label if I want. Jackasses!. They blamed it on Amazon having the wrong information up. My invoice says 150 caps and my order conformation from Amazon says 150 caps. Nutraplanet would have let me keep the 120 caps for the mistake and sent me a 150 cap bottle. Never had a problem with this seller before. In fact they have a regular website and are a pretty popular supplement e-tailer. It just so happens they also sell through amazon.

that does suck! I hate when companies don't have a "the buck stops here" way of doing business. Even if amazon posted incorrect info, they should make it right with you and then correct the problem with amazon.

That depends. There are hundreds, if not thousands of legitimate sellers on Amazon. These particular people have never steered me wrong. This is a first for them. They have a normal website where you can order direct from the company but they also have an Amazon storefront. E Pharm also has an Amazon storefront. I feel it is the fault of the seller and not Amazon though. If they product is listed wrong...As in my situation it said "Super Cissus Rx 150 capsules" when I added it to my cart. My order conformation email from them also said "150 capsules", and my invoice from Amazon said "150 capsules". Then I open up the package and the receipt from the actual seller says "120 capsules" instead of 150. So in my mind it is the direct fault of the seller and I was mis-lead into thinking I was getting a 150 capsule bottle. "They" are playing the blame game and saying "It's Amazons fault".

I actually wrote back to them and told them I want either the correct 150 capsule bottle, or another 120 capsule bottle free of charge and I should be able to keep the bottle you sent me. That was at 1 PM EST today. They have not written back.

I will just "Vote" with my money and not order from them again unless they resolve this issue.

Shah true true I got you. Hopefully you get that worked out!

You could say the same thing for any online buying/trading site such as Ebay. Sure you can do research on the seller, but you never know what will happen in the end. THe given world we live in continues to shock us as we see crazy things everyday. Just tragic to have this happen to a loyal member of the site.
