Prime in Zambia

Prime Day 6

Background - I am currently working on contract in Zambia at an underground nickel mine. Have been doing body-weight exercises daily (variations of press-ups and crunches to exaustion etc). Nothing out of the ordinary to report WO-wise.

Been loading 3x 3 per day. Some strange body stimulation - doesn't effect sleep - in fact sleeping as deeply as PowerFull, with techno-colour dreams to match. As Borobulker mentioned, whatever 'It' is, I'm having trouble describing 'It'.

This morning was underground with 4 nationals, and had the urgent desire to drop for press ups. Told my team I had to take a quick toilet break, and headed away until I was out of sight:

Turned off the caplamp, dropped and pressed as fast as possible in the utter pitch black until exaustion. Stood up, waited 60 secs and did it again. Got a real alpha-aggression thing happening - and still do. This is going to assist getting the job done, as there are a few heads to crack.

Went back to the team sweating like crazy with a huge grin, filthy hands and a crazyarse pump - Zambians are waaay too polite to ask questions. After work Im going to see how much pressing I can do - also have a bloke sorting out a chin bar for variety.

There are ostriches running around the minesite. I am trying to buy an egg from somewhere to make an omelette - the locals think it's a strange request.

Nice, very nice, quite the cool adventure kinda job it looks like. As far as the prime, Ive got that same " having trouble describing feeling" going too. Somewhere between euphoria and alpha male aggression, plus vivid dreams, good sleep, general positive feeling and when working out, it surely seems like I feel like going on to the point where Im going to eventually just burn out, almost have to remind myself to stop.

hopefully you will get some good workouts without equipment.
Have you tested shoulder presses upside down with support of a wall? hard as hell and gets you pumped with no equipment. Hope you understand the exercise.

Two of the other expat consultants are into weight training as well, so we're off to the capital Lusaka to buy a bench and some weights.:woohoo:

Going to get some proper training done over here and really put the Prime to the test. :head::head::head:

The idea is after the contract donate the equipment to the locals.

I haven't actually asked if ostrich eggs are tasty - can't be any worse than Anabolic Pump I guess....

Also great idea about the weights, bodyweight exercises are great and overload from weights is very useful.
 
Ostrich Eggs in the Diet

The Ostrich Egg: It's not that these big boys are especially fatty - it's just that they're so BIG that you certainly don't want to enjoy it all at one sitting! (that's where you're wrong!)

Some interesting facts:

*1 ostrich egg is equivalent to about 2 dozen chicken eggs & weighs about 3 pounds! That's about the size of a medium-sized melon or head of cabbage! That's a lot of yolks!

*The eggs resemble and taste like a chicken egg.

*Compared to chicken eggs, Ostrich eggs have increased portions of polyunsaturated fatty acids, which are most desirable in our diet.

*One ostrich egg contains about 2,000 calories and is packed with protein. (no kidding)

*Laying season generally beings in the middle of March and ends in the middle of August. During this time, the female will lay 1 egg every two days. (I might be out of luck)
 
Prime Day 10 - Appetite activation.

Dosing: Prime 3 x 3 ReCreate 1 x 2

With ReCreate, the appetite supression does not kick in until week 3, then it's not the will to eat that is supressed, it's the volume. The 'Will Power' component that assists in good food choices also appears redundant for me - I use my own.

Today with Prime my hunger has just gone skywards - I feel the need to eat every hour - I have a large bag of apples and some mixed nuts.

The interesting thing is the 'Will Power' component is now activated - I have a strange aversion to greasy of sugary foods.

Prime front-loading is complete - will drop bak to 2 x 3 caps, 5 days 2 off per week. The Alpha-Male edge is a phenomenal tool - loving it!

Spent today walking the mine with a bag full of equipment - ended up scaling a 50m vertical escapeway - fully charged quads and shoulders by the end, if not slightly dehydrated.

I'm back in Australia for a week coming up, so chance to see if former strength is maintained - we still haven't purchased any weights here yet.

No, the lads couldn't get the weights last weekend, but Im back to Australia for a week - will be hitting the weights then.

Pressups, crunches and cardio is the modus operandi - it's *****ing hot over here, so I think I've leaned out a bit.

The Prime Plan:

As this is a semi-log, I will outline the training plan for the upcoming week:

I have 7 days off. Will be training a minimum of 6.

Fasted early AM weights. Carb load. PM HIIT.

Supplementation will be:

AM preWO: Prime-Y'RD-ReCreate AM postWO P-Slin

PM HIIT: Prime-Y'RD-ReCreate AM postWO P-Slin

Compound movements supersets will dominate = intensity.

Diet will be moderately clean. Fish, rice, vegetables, eggs.

The plan is to overtrain myself stupid for the week I am home, then I can recover the following week back in Zambia, and hopefully by then the boys have would have sorted out some weights and a bench.

i'm backing the eagles bro, steve menzies is a legend, great way to see him retire.
Storm are a class above but they are missing cameron smith. I should support Manly cos i used to live up the road but there is something about them that i dont like......they're just not the same without Cliffy!! Storm have been the best team all year so they deserve it. I think they'l get it.

i don't like manly either but i don't like the storm anymore, that chicken wing shit they do is b.s.
plus warriors beat their asses twice this year so i don't think they deserve a title this year.
