As I sit here drinking a half gallon of chocolate milk I'm absolutely stunned. Yesterday morning I started to take my Prime as just a little 4 day run before I will be away from home for 2 solid weeks and training will probably not be happening during this time. Another reason I wanted to try the Prime was all this talk about euphoria. So I started, didn't feel a thing, not even the slightest feeling in that sense. I did have some freaky dreams last night though.
Anyway, tonight was deadlifts. I took what has been my usual of Universals Storm and some bulk EAAs after a cup of black coffee. When I started the deadlifts everything felt strangely heavy in my hands but it was as if I had this feeling that I just had another gear if I had to use it. I warmed up with some gut work, light squats and goodmornings. Then I started pulling. Here is how it panned out:
Deadlift
225x3
295x1
365x1
415x1
500x1
550xright above my knees but a miss!
500x15x1(PR!)
3inch thick bar curls
100x5x3
Steep Incline Situps
1x25
I have never in my life pulled this many lifts over 500lbs and thought I was going to actually make the 550lber. I gotta strengthen my upper back before this will go. But anyway, there has to be something in this Prime that did something to my CNS. Everything felt heavy but it was as if I just knew I could grind through all the reps. I didn't feel any "insane pumps bro" crap, I just felt I had "it", whatever "it" is or was. I have been having some great results with Storm so some of this has to be attributed to the Storm, but there was something more there tonight. I can see where the early testers nervous systems took a pounding. After tonight I'll probably need 2 weeks to recover! I'll start back on the Prime when I get back and will keep you guys updated.
