pre bedtime meal ideas

ive been told to have a shake before bed but i always wake up hungry. im trying to gain weight. any pre bedtime meal ideas.
 
consume any slow digesting protein and fats.
if you are drinking a whey shake pre-bed it's not surprising you wake up hungry.
 
I recently bought some Complete Milk Dairy Isolate from Trueprotein.com and it is AMAZING. I mix it with half and half,water,cinnamon,cocoa,glutamine,and peanut butter. It's tastes unreal.
 
You can have a casein shake, a whey shake with some healthy fats(peanut butter,almond butter,nuts) you could also eat cottage cheese, or drink milk, your best bet is casein shake with fats.
 
Eggs, surprised it hasn't been said yet.

6 eggs is ~40g protein and ~40g fat.

Who cares about gas? You'll be asleep anyway.
If you want gas, drink a protein shake, all high in milky goodness. :)


A half cup of Walnuts or Almonds is also a good choice. High fat (mid 30s, high poly(walnuts)/mono(almonds)), high fiber, moderate protein (10-15g)
 
I prefer almonds over walnuts but they are both good, I sometimes mix almonds in 2 tablespoons of peanut butter, heat it up and eat it.
 
Thats hardcore also lol^^, I would rather have the Whey and than just shoot the EVOO, but EVOO is an awesome choice for fats. I don't think it would even be necessary for the second serving.
 
Casein protein and something with plenty of healthy fats would work awesome. Good fats will also help raise natural testosterone output or at least maintain it.

Seeing as that my sexual encounters with the wife elevate quite a bit after we go to bed, letting off a napalm isn't exactly the most romantic thing a man can dream of...lol, believe me, it happened once and i never drank a shake before bed again...hahaha

I just eat a couple of slices of whole grain wheat and 2tbsp of peanut butter, and a glass of low fat milk, plus, throw in a half chicken breast
 
I eat a pound of beef, some cheese and some PB about an hour before bed.
I can't see how you can stomach a lb of beef before bed and peanut butter...that would twist me up kinda bad.
 
Yeah, if i eat read meat before i go to bed, i have crazy dreams man...can't even begin to explain them.
