Piracetam serving size.

I just bought a 700g bottle of piracetam powder. The serving size is listed as 1500 mg. How much volume is this (1 teaspoon?). Inside the bottle, there is a tiny scoop - I don't know how much it holds, but it seems far too small to be 1.5 grams. Can anybody help?

Piracetam is VERY dense. It should list a density measurement (xmg/ 1/4tsp) on it, and I would imagine they included a 1/4 tsp scooper.

Thanks dsade (I'm sorry this is so late - I had to go out, and then it took me a while to find the log in field). There is absolutely no volume that I can see on the container (Black, limited edition, 'black series', pharmaceutical grade). It is heavy, as your comment suggests.

It's roughly the size of a metamucil container. I suppose I can toss the closed bottle in a known volume of water, and measure the volume of the container from the displacement... but I don't want to do that.

Also, how is piracetam supposed to taste; bitter and slightly sweet? There was a plastic wrapper around the main container, but no seal on the inside of the bottle (usually a tear-off cardboard/plastic seal). Additionally, there was white 'dust' residue on the outside of the container. The scoop contains maybe an 1/8 teaspoon; it's smaller than my 1/4 tsp. measuring spoon. [Update: the scoop has 1.25 cc on it, and does measure roughly 1/4 tsp.; I apparently suck at eyeballing measurements.]

I took maybe .7 of a tablespoon, and it gave me diarrhea (not to gross anybody out, but wondering if this is because of piracetam's high density and whether I may have O.D.ed). I wish it listed a density measurment.

the doses of piracetam are between 2.4g and 4.8g but don't be afraid to take too much, you can't go wrong...

i don't think it gave you diarrhea, i've read much about it and this is not one of it's 'sides'... if it is in fact giving you the runs i would question it's purity...

some ppl take 25g/day....

I have a regular (not the nifty black) bottle of NP piracetam, and it says “1/4 teaspoon = 700 milligrams” on the label. This is what Bulk Nutrition’s product also says on its label. So round up and figure 3 grams/teaspoon. My standard dosage is a level, struck-off teaspoon mixed with a few ounces of water. As for the taste, piracetam tastes basically like ass, with a subtle note of ass, and a notable aftertaste of ass. ‘Bitter’ would be the best way to describe it, but it’s not bitter in the usual sense of the word—it’s just a strange taste that you have to experience to understand.

While we’re on the subject, has anybody figured out a way to keep it from clumping? I toss the whole bottle in the food processor when I open it, and chop up all the lumps. But it always starts clumping again very rapidly—usually in a week or less.

Are you saying the PirASSecetam's taste resembles, in a slight way, umm...ass?

Let’s just say that it brings to mind the classic Monty Python sketch about Australian table wines, and the immortal line in which the moderator describes how “real emetic fans will also go for a Hobart Muddy, and a prize winning Cuivre Reserve Château Bottled Nuit San Wogga Wogga, which has a bouquet like an aborigine's armpit.”

it's pretty bitter but i can just dump about 3g on my tongue and just swallow without water...

cissus on the other hand is the foulest tasting thing ever and it has made me throw up in the past...

I would highly recommend taking choline along with piracetam, it makes makes a huge difference.

Also with piracetam, it may take a week or so to kick in so don't get discouraged if you don't feel anything for the first few days.
