I also had anticipated a much larger turnout... Anyways, I'm keeping my fingers crossed! :fingersx:
I'm with you on this one...but I'm crossing my toes too

Well said man, I would have expected 100 entries for this. Too much stupid bad press right now going towards USP for no good reason, makes me mad.
More bumps than answers....
casey will be picking late today or tomorrow.
never tried pink magic-but after reading this thread i am getting interested in it.:bigok:

Well vasodilation can cause catecholamine-induced lipolysis in adipose and skeletal muscle tissue, for one =).
Massularia acuminata increases glycogen and sialic acid. Sialic acid-rich oligosaccharides on the glycoconjugates, as we all know, help keep water(polar) on the surface of cells AND sialic acid could find a valuable role in dietary supplements as a glyconutrient! BINGO! Glycogen(which is a carb aka sugar) also holds water, 3 times as much to be exact. So if you had 500g of glycogen storage before starting a diet program (or while on one) that would be 1500g of extra water weight that could easily be smashed by something like... idk... working out? =) Correspondingly the more protein and carbs you use the more water weight is lost. (protein holds about 4 times it's weight in water). Another ingredient that is great for weightloss is Nelumbo nucifera leaf flavonoid-rich extract! And it targets lipid-regulated enzymes and is effective in attenuating body lipid accumulation and preventing obesity ESPECIALLY in adipose tissue. Back in 2007 Planta me even did I clinical study and reported " Our results indicate that the effects of NN in preventing diet-induced obesity appear to be due to various flavonoids and that the activation of beta-AR pathway was involved, at least in part." and "We examined the effect of NNE on digestive enzyme activity, lipid metabolism and theromogenesis and evaluated the effects of anti-obesity using high-fat diet-induced obesity in mice that were treated with NNE for 5 weeks. NNE caused a concentration-dependent inhibition of the activities of alpha-amylase and lipase, and up-regulated lipid metabolism and expression of UCP3 mRNA in C2C12 myotubes. NNE prevented the increase in body weight, parametrial adipose tissue weight and liver triacylglycerol levels in mice with obesity induced by a high-fat diet. UCP3 mRNA expression in skeletal muscle tended to be higher, when mice were administrated by NNE and were exercised. Therefore, NNE impaired digestion, inhibited absorption of lipids and carbohydrates, accelerated lipid metabolism and up-regulated energy expenditure. Consequently, NNE is beneficial for the suppression of obesity."
Neferine (chemical in Nelumbo nucifera) also improved insulin sensitivity which is just an added bonus. (same affects as rosiglitazone or tolbutamide) Which would make it like beneficial for someone with diabites trying to get in shape. What doesn't this stuff do? Oh and by the way, neferine can also be used to increase Camp and is also a hepatoprotective agent. (good fo dem kidneys)
Rhamnus nakaharai is also a very healthy herb to intake, as it is good for you heart. (just as a side note)
EDIT:
Should I go ahead and send you my address?
in other words Pink Magic is a KICK AZZ PRODUCT! :bigok:
I am pretty new here on the forum and joined to put up my unbiased review of pink magic as an "average joe" because of all the controversy of the legitimacy of the product. (Like this Anothony Roberts fellow who, after I few google clicks, obviously has an agenda and is to bash USP's product and has sadly had some success on bb.com. (dudes an ree-ree) But I must say I am sadly disappointed in the thread, no one did there research. I have done a lot but only took about 15 minutes (busy night at work) to put some of the key scientific data in my post.
C'mon people, do your research!
You can follow my log under Supplements/Reviews section of this forum.

all i can say is TAKE IT TRAIN & GROW, put the books down and pick the weights up
yeah but you dont need research if a product really works thats what the USP brand is for, they do the research so the consumer has an extremely good product, i am not saying i didnt do research on the pink magic ingrendients when it blew up all over the web a while back but as far as prime all i can say is TAKE IT TRAIN & GROW, put the books down and pick the weights up
-and a Hug from Mulletsoldier and belly rub from Casey.
Well you can find hundreds of logs that respresent the performance of this product? So why all the controversy if all these people just want to pick the weights up? The science and the mud-slinging, my post was to educate. You can find lots of scientific reviews that "disprove" PM, but little that does online.
I have been picking up the weights lately,... Bench PR from 185 to 210 in less than two weeks. Chingon

good progress bro, you should check out my log on hyper trop x in the supp review log section. and i wasnt being offensive with my post i do research on all the products i take. I have spent lots of time on wiki looking up ingredients for most products and their scientific background ....... what I was saying though and do stand firmly behind this, is people can research all they want but supplements will only HELP growth, proper diet and a killer training program is your foundation
i have been saying for years that if a product isn't harmful or dangerous and it works well for you, who gives a flying f'ck what studies say.
That's what I say, must be an old school thing, I call it common sense.
It is great for what ever you feel like doing! If you want to cut well is it not true the higher your test the more fat you burn? Well in using this product it feels as tho my test levels are higher and my fat melts right off so much i sweat profusely when lifting and using PINK MAGIC! Also let me see ..........Facts are facts with this new version alone i was lifting much much more at week three and my muscles felt and looked fuller! Now i state my vase for burning fat but now i have to say this!!! TEST=MUSCLE !! So if this boosts test or mimics it i am not sure i am no chemist! But it makes your appetite well my appetite soar and every thirty minutes i was eating and never once was it junk always slow digesting nutritious foods. Being that PINK MAGIC+Proper training+diet equals muscle building fat burning power house being ALPHA male up in this mofo !! I rest my case
interesting that all the younger guys seem to look to studies to back everything up-must be that they don't have enough personal experience to base things on, lol. after they have been around long enough they will see that todays popular study is tomorrow's garbage....scientists change their minds more than weathermen...wait-weathermen are scientists!

Well it's hard to have experience with a product that's been out for barely a month. I think for myself and don't trust anything going into my body if I don't know what's in it.
My $.02
bump for the winners
Oh I was just bumpin the thread yall think the winners will be announced today?
I was actually hoping they weren't announced today bc all I have on me is my blackberry and its difficult to keep checking with my phone
