Phenibut sides

Man, I'm having bad luck with nootropics. When I take phenibut in the evening, I wake up off and on all night feeling like I cant breath. Its very similar to the "breathless rush" one gets from GABA or pGH, just not as intense. It really sucks! Anyone else get this??
 
Nope, I get pretty much the opposite, I sleep a lot longer than normal. When I get up I usually feel semi-groggy, although if I take too much ill get a nasty headache and a hangover type feeling all the next day
 
No. My advice is to discontinue use. Any side effect restricting your breathing is potentially life-threatening.

Phenibut is a helluva drug
 
Personally I love a very small amount on an empty stomach (this is key). Very relaxing for me, but only about 2 or 3 times a month.
 
I have phenibut from a well known company and it doesn't do much for me. The version IBE sells in a special carrier is amazing (see neurobalance log in my sig).

For good measure, I'll repeat my advice. If you take anything which causes breathing difficulty, for goodness sakes stop taking it. An allergic reaction in the lungs can be deadly.
 
For the regular phenibut I usually do 1-1.5 grams, oftentimes with alcohol. Any more than that and i get a bad hangover feeling. Tried it intranasally once, I wouldn't recommend it whatsoever.
 
Ok, I was in the dose range. Just wanted to make sure that I wasnt taking too much and thats what was causing the problem.

i to would be falling asleep and boom i would gasp for air, like catching my breath, then again when i was almost asleep i would gasp again, really bugged me, i stopped taking it after that, kinda sucks cause it did better my mood..........:frustrate
 
If I take it, and it has fully gone into effect when I try to sleep, it's ridiculous. It feels like I'm just giddy and high the whole time, I'll wake up off and on with a big grin and just stretch out on my bed like I'm on x.. lol

Never have done X though, just to clarify.

These are my exact experiences as well...

-No more than 1.5 grams
-Usually with alcohol to intensify effects (and to be able to get to a nice buzz without having to consume more than 1-2 drinks)
-Intranasally was aweful
 
Simple you are getting anxiety from the product you want to try 2-4 teabags of chamomlile or a small amount of picamilon with magnesium. Definitely no alcohol interferes with cognitive function.
 
Be warned. Phenibut overdose in nearly incapaciating. I used it once or twice. Empty stomach orally and intranasal if very effective. But over consumption provided me the worst hangover I have ever had in my life.

This comes from a 24pk beer/750ml Whiskey drinking recovering alcoholic. I litereally thought I was going to die. It took me two days to just begin to feel normal. This was no more than 1.5-2g combined oral/in.

YMMV but be very careful.

Dam i dont think i could handle my face burning from snorting that sh*t.
 
Phenibut should be used with extreme caution as it can have unpleasant withdrawal symptoms. Side effects can include acute anxiety and insomnia that can last for up to two weeks afterwards. Withdrawal symptoms, however, are almost always associated with cessation after prolonged usage.

FWIW I have noticed this too. I quit using phenibut as I found myself getting very tolerant of it in a relatively short amount of time.

thats because of phenibut one beer(or one drink) equals about three or four. did you know this...
 
I used it for two years and really didn't notice any side effects. Along the lines of "marjiuana" if you want to categorize and not a hardcore drug. Although do not dose too high.


I'm done with it. Gaba still works fine for me after five years so far. and I'm taking big breaks. i still use it before bed if my stomachs empty. Dont use it consistently though. I used taurine last night and sleep fourteen hours . might have been needed sleep or could have been the higher dosed taurine which i haven't use in a long time.

For stuff to work take breaks or it does produce tolerance.
