PES Select protein .........ummmm say it ain't so

I made two with two scoops sd and 1.5 cups of power cakes with 1.5 cups water. Medium heat worked well this time so the inside was cooked through and fluffy. This is like the only thing I can cook now thanks to this forum!

Looks great man! I recommend saving 1/4-1/2 scoop of Select and mixing it with a minimal amount of water or almond milk to create a frosting/glaze. Spread the deliciousness on top and enjoy!

I have yet to try to make a protein frosting yet but have been meaning to.

Would you recommend using water or almond milk? Is there a significant difference?

No real difference between the two

If you want more volume (may need more frosting depending what you make) you can just add it to unflavoured or vanilla yoghurt

Yeah, there isn't really a noticeable difference between the two. The amount of liquid used is minimal, so it doesn't really change the consistency (or calorie total) much at all.

I've been mixing a scoop with plain Greek yogurt for a snack lately. It's like a delicious bowl of frosting. :)

Select 55 has made it North of the border :)

Where are these available?

They were available through the recent Insider sale, which unfortunately has ended. However, they're currently on our home site and should be arriving at retailers very soon.

No problem. That's understandable; as LTL said, we're all looking forward to the pre-workout!

Someone who understands Select Protein and orders 9 bottles from the other side of the world. You sir, deserve a free T-shirt. PM me your address

Tried this with Snickerdoodle and its actually very good

I made a sweet potato + apple hash, cook a sweet potato for a few minutes and then finish it in a skillet, add in a diced apple and sautee it a bit. then toss on some cinnamon + Splenda + SnickerDoodle Whey as a seasoning and cook for a few seconds and whip around the splenda/cinnamon/snickerdoodle as it will glaze the sweet potatoes + apples (juices coming out of the apples)

Comes out very good and gives it a very heavy Cinnamon/Sugar taste.

That just sounds delightful! I wish I could afford to hire you as a full time chef.

Sweet Potatoes and Apples is not a very chef worth recipe just sayin LOL
Add some honey on top and it was BOMB

Thanks for the recipe Bob. Chef worthy isn't a concern, as long as it's delicious.

Think about it this way
SnickerDoodle is like Cinnamon sugar
Cinnamon + Splenda on Sweet Potatoes = Great.
Add in Honey and a diced apple that is sauteed gives it great flavoring and a good small stirfry.
Could even have a SD Shake on the side

I'm thinking, and I'm hungry. :)

Well Select 55 landed at Orbit, and the standard pricing looks like $49
Just under $1 per serving is even better than a lot of lower quality options out there. And in my mind worth much more because of the quality.

There is literally no excuse for me to buy a crappy blend or whey ever again lol

Thanks for the heads up Driven. That's a great deal; bigger tub, bigger savings!

$49 for 55 servings with the quality, taste, and profile of Select is on point!

I'm glad that Select is a great price even outside of the insider deal. Looks like I'm a lifer!
