PES Lean Bulk/Recomp: AnaBeta Elite, Erase, Alpha T-2

Day 20 continued

Work was pretty brutal. The heat and humidity were tough to deal with. However, after a cold shower and some AC I'm feeling up for the gym. Tonight I'll be working legs and possibly abs. I don't have as much time as I would like, so I might pick up the pace or lower the workload.

I had my afternoon A-T2 and Erase a few hours after lunch and just had my 2 cap pre workout dose of AB Elite with a fairly light meal...don't want to puke doing squats or lunges.

Day 20 continued

My leg workout was great. Strength was up and I beat them into submission. I changed the approach/intensity on a couple exercises.

-some previous #'s in parenthesis

BB Back Squat (deep/below parallel)
225x15
315x15
405x10
420x5
420x5
-I took these lower than I have in along time. I usually stick to parallel and this approach had my legs burning fast.

Standing Calf Raises (Smith:20lb bar)
400x16
420x11
440x9

DB Lunges
70x18 one leg at a time (70x13 alt)
70x13 alt leg (70x13 alt)

Calf Extension (machine)
310x23
350x11
360x10
365x9

Seated Leg Curl
210x12 (205x11)
225x6 (210x7)
225x5 (210x6)
drop (drop)
180x6 (165x5)

Leg Extensions
270x9 (265x10)
280x7 (270x6)
285x6 (270x6)
drop (drop)
210x5 (190x5)

Seated Crunch (machine)
215x30
215x23

Hanging Leg Raises
BWx16
BWx15

Reverse alt Lunges (Smith: 20lb bar)
270x7 (250x8)
290x5 (280x4)
-------- (280x4)
-I ran out of time and supersetted the last set with squats (Smith)
250x16

I was very happy with tonight's workout and could barely stand up when it was finished.

I had my 2 caps of ABE with my post workout shake while I recovered in the gym parking lot.

Tomorrow is an off day from the gym and work as well. I plan on sleeping in (anytime past 5am is a plus) and relaxing the majority of the day.

Wish I would have had this type of a leg day today! :-). Some of those lifts went up big time bro! Nice work.

Thanks LTL. Yeah, I was surprised by some of the increases. I think ABE has a part in it.

If you could stand after this workout, your legs are made of metal and you were just bending them at the joints. What an overload. Great workout man !

Thanks fumoney. I'm feeling the impact of it today.

Day 21

It felt amazing being able to sleep as much as I could last night. After averaging just under 5 hours a night during the week I feel refreshed.

Like clockwork my weight hit it's low point after finishing up the work week. I weighed in at 204.8lbs (+2.8lbs overall) this morning. This is right in line with what I was hoping for in terms of adding lean weight. I'm still not seeing much fat gain if any at all and hope to be able to end up at least +3lbs overall by the end of next week.

I started my day with 2 caps each of A-T2 and Erase followed by 2 caps of ABE 45 minutes later with a massive breakfast. I will be dosing the remaining 4 caps of the day with meals (1-2 caps depending on what's eaten).

I'm going to the beach for the rest of the day. The only access is by boat and its always packed (hope there's room to anchor up at this point). I'm looking forward to relaxing as I know its needed. I'll be bringing my supps with me to continue taking throughout the day. I have plenty of food and a grill on the boat so taking ABE won't be a problem.

Glad you finally got a good nights rest bro! Weight as low as it is compared to during the week I bet you look shredded. Enjoy your time at the beach you earned a good rest day breezy! Bet your going to get a lot of stares there man! ;-)

The sleep was fantastic. I might have my physical job off until Tuesday, so I'll be a new man after a couple more days. I don't notice any drastic changes in appearance as my weight goes up and down, but I'm happy with how I look throughout the week. The beach should be fun. There will probably be some people I haven't seen in about 6 months and before I really started getting my size back, so I think there will be a few looks/comments.

You have stayed natty but with the change you have made guarantee people will think differently! Weren't you like 160 lbs 6 months ago or less?

I was 160 a little over a year ago. I have people that don't really know me or my situation asking "what are you taking" all the time. It gets kind of annoying, but I'm used to it.

I've actually had similar comments going back to junior high. I was a lean 180lbs from genetics, body weight exercises, and hockey by the end of 8th grade before ever stepping into a gym.

Relaxation is the best thing. Taking a little break here and there is good. I can't wait to here what your people have to say, I haven't had many comments directly but I have overheard my wife and some of her friends and they notice. Some family members say I looking different but I had to stop them because my wife has been a cardio maniac and hasn't lost much. It makes her upset when they notice me over her.

Damn I see how you roll. Grill on the boat ? Get some supplies and head out to the sea !!! Don't need to bother with humans on a relaxing day.

The relaxation was great and I feel refreshed. I stayed out on the boat most of the day with close friends that see me all the time so nobody was surprised by how I look. It's good that you and your wife both enjoy working out. I feel lucky that my girlfriend likes it as much as me. She wouldn't care if I got any extra attention and gets plenty of it herself. She's always been an athlete and in ridiculous shape...I'm trying to catch up.

That's how I roll lol. Yeah its a small portable grill that can be taken anywhere. I love the ocean...not sure if I could ever move away from the water.

Day 22

I had back to back nights of good sleep. I didn't get up until around10am and it was fantastic.

I weighed exactly 206lbs (+4lbs overall) this morning. I still think my level of leaness is right about where I started despite the extra weight.

I noticed my elbows were a little stiff when I woke up, but the feeling went away after moving around. I was expecting some joint tightness based on my past experience with Erase Pro, but Erase doesn't seem to be quite as strong even at 3 caps a day. I don't think it dries me up to quite the same extent as Pro either...its definitely helping to keep things looking tight though.

I had 2 caps of A-T2 and Erase on an empty stomach about 45 mins before breakfast. I had 1 cap of ABE about 15 minutes before my meal and a second cap about halfway through eating (took about 30 mins to eat). I wanted to try a slightly different dosing scheme and also have the second cap closer to my workout.

I'm about to head to the gym for a chest and triceps workout. With the extra rest I've had I'll be upset if I don't have a strong showing.

These gains are incredible natty bro. You were hovering around 202 a lot at the beginning of the log now it seems more about 205 just a few weeks later. Three pounds is sick for less then a month. Erase seems like it would be a better fit for me then pro as it seems less side prone for sure. Good update bro, tear up the gym Breezy!

Thanks man. I'm definitely happy with the weight so far. I'm noticing it's becoming more of a challenge to keep the scale moving with every pound I gain bringing me closer to my previous weight. I'm really liking Erase, but will be going with Pro for my next planned stack. At this point Erase seems easier on the joints and I haven't experienced any other sides such as acne...I believe that was an issue for you with Pro.

Yep, I'm thinking erase would be much better for me then pro. Will have to give I a shot.

Thanks Budman. Good to see your joints are holding up. I thought it might be an issue for me given their condition prior to starting, but they've actually gotten a little better at this point.

Day 22 continued

I had a great workout with strength increases on all repeat exercises. I had plenty of energy and had to make myself leave the gym before I really overdid it.

You sure did. Look at that superset finishing move. This is not a workout for the masses. Just a chosen few.

Day 23

I weighed in at 206.8lbs (+4.8lbs) this morning. I have the day off from physical work so there's a chance my weight hasn't hit it's high for the week at this point.

I had my morning A-T2 and Erase (2 caps each) right when I woke up on an empty stomach. I had my pre workout dose of ABE with breakfast about 45 minutes later and I'm about to hit the gym.

I'm somewhat short on time with a busy afternoon so I'll be sticking with biceps/forearms/calves/abs for today's workout.

Nice chest day bro! Killed it bro!

Day 23 continued

Today's workout didn't have any major lifts, but what I did went well, and progress was made. Both pump and vascularity were high throughout the majority of the workout.

I had 2 caps of ABE immediately after my workout with a shake.

I noticed that I began sweating almost instantly once I started working out. Increased sweating seems to occur when I lift within a couple hours of my 2 cap dose of A-T2. I also had a harder time finishing my shake. This has also happened before with 2 caps of A-T2 not long before my workout.

Another observation from today was that the pump from my workout lasted longer than usual.

Nice increase on the chins bro. Makes me want to go hit back day!

Thanks man. I think my initial BW set has been the same for a couple weeks though. I might try warming up a little first next time.

As you get stronger and stronger every week how are we looking as far as PR's bro? You have to be getting close to where you used to be as far as strength and size right? What was your highest weight in previous training etc?

I'm getting a lot closer with some lifts than others. My legs have made the strongest comeback so far and my chest and shoulders are lagging behind. I have to find my old training books to figure out exactly where I was (was trying to forget about it when starting over). I know I was DB shoulder pressing 90-100's (90x10-12 pretty easily) and could do reps on flat bench over 300. My size is coming back faster than my strength. Some of the weight I use now is lower than when I was about 190lbs before. The biggest I've ever been was a little over 220lbs with about 13-14% bf.

Damn man .... 270 lb chins. All in all another sick workout. Keep up the great work !

Thanks fumoney! They've come a long way in the last few months.

Day 24

My weight remains at 206.8lbs (+4.8lbs overall). I planning on seeing it drop a little with today being the start of my physical work week. My appearance was looking pretty dry this morning and muscle fullness was high.

I had 2 caps each of A-T2 and Erase when I woke up and 2 caps of ABE right before a big 1700 calorie breakfast. I'm not feeling weighed down at all from my meal and could actually continue to eat if I wanted to...I will in about an hour.

I should be hitting up the gym tonight as long as I don't work too late. It's relatively cool out compared to the last few weeks so we might end working a little longer.

Day 24 continued

I had my afternoon cap each of A-T2 and Erase on my way home from work. I just had my pre workout dose of ABE and I'm getting ready for a shoulder workout.

I'm a little rushed because I just got a replacement for my new phone shipped overnight and had to spend some time getting it up and running for the gym. The headphone jack crapped out on me yesterday after only having it 3 weeks and I didn't want to go workout without music.

Love that the weight isn't falling man! 1700 cals in one meal?? Holy hell you are a beast!

You couldn't even guess how many times I've forgot my head phones and home and had to stop and pick up new ones. It's ridiculous but i can't lift without music now!

Breakfast is usually somewhere between 1300-1900 cals depending on what I have for food. I need to get the day off to a good start in order to fit in 6000+ by the end of the day. It can be a lot of work to keep it consistent on a daily basis ...almost like a having another job.

My replacement phone had the same exact problem today...I was pissed. I think it must be the headphones, but I was told it was the phone yesterday. The phone came with $100 headphones, so I hope they replace them.

Day 24 continued

My workout went well. Strength was solid and I was happy with what I accomplished.

I had 2 caps of ABE with my post workout shake of protein and oats.

Not much new to report in terms of supplementation. A coworker told me my face looked "skinnier" today, but I'm not seeing it. I believe I'm right around where I started in terms of bf%, but looking slightly bigger overall.

Day 25

My weight was 206.4lbs (+4.6lbs overall) shortly after waking up. I'm hoping that it doesn't drop too far below 205lbs by the end of the week. I'll be sure to use a weekly low point when I record my final weight for the stack.

I had 2 caps each of A-T2 and Erase on an empty stomach and 2 caps of ABE with a big breakfast.

I should be going to the gym after work, but I'm unsure what muscles I'll be working at this point. I won't be able to get to the gym tomorrow, so I might be switching my normal routine around a little.

Thanks for joining. At this point I can say it's a great stack in my opinion.
