Friday's Workout

Incline Hammerstrength Press - 2plates and 25'sx7x5x4
DB pull overs - 60x10, 70x10, 80x10. I know it is going against typical DC style, but while on cycle I think my upper chest needs it and I feel like I have the recovery for it at the moment.
Upright Rows- 155x9x6x4
Weighted Dips - +45lbs x12 x12 x10 Stoked to have my dipping belt... hopefully this will change my routine up for good!
Weighted Pull-ups - +25lbs x 8x5x5
Seated CG rows - 200x8x6x5

As wide as I can get it. I sit up pretty high in the seat too, I see way too many people using the hammerstrength bench machines like complete morons and putting the seat way low as if to make it more of an incline. They are just turning it into a shoulder press.

Thanks guys, I have been backing off my numbers on this blast in an attempt to re-focus on my mind-muscle connection, then gain from there. I think I had let the whole numbers game of DC get to me and I was sacrificing some form to just hit a goal number. I think I had ramped up too fast. I am seeing much better gains this time around, and I feel better doing it. I'm sure that the PH's are helping that out too, regardless, trying to get everything settled in my workout.
 
Smart man. Same here. Got way to excited about upping reps/weight I was sacrificing form. Made sure to fix that this blast.
 
Yea, the I gained so fast with the first blast, it was like I was on cycle almost. My entire chest and arms changed shape and size. My second blast though, was much different, I was used to the workout, and the gains didn't just explode like I had expected them to.

Trying to look for new exercises for the same muscle groups is a good way to keep each blast fresh and productive. I never do the same blast twice.
And I personally don't think it hurts to follow up that 1 heavy rest-pause set with an isolation exercise immediately. Don't rest after that rest-pause set. Jump straight onto a medium weight isolation movement and concentrate on using perfect form and really feeling the contractions.
I know the die-hard DC advocates will not agree, but I find that it's okay to tweak the program a bit.:yup:

That is some great advice there. Being a die hard of any one training regime may not cause a plateau but it dang sure can slow down progress as opposed to changing things up regularly. There is also th eoption of pre-exhausting before your dc set with some slow reps on an isolation move. Not only will it kick the crap out of the muscle but will make the stabilizers work more during the regular lift. A couple sets of flies then hit the bench, some pullovers then chins or rows. Tweak it have fun with it.

You know the kid looked to enjoy his workout just as much as we do. Most of everything there can be explained by the kid being in gymnastics since he was a toddler which is huge in Russia. He didn't sound like he was being forced into it. Fathers voice sounded attentive not like a pushy coach. That thing has has a lot of media attention right now that it is child abuse. Martial arts families tend to be trained from the time they walk. Nobody accuses that of being abuse. However since most people don't enjoy working out they see a kid doing it and get offended. THey dispelled the myth long ago that weight bearing excercise stunts growth or has any negative effects on the body. Children get more pressure on the bones in running and other vigorous aactivity than in this type of workout. Anyway, that kid kicks major back side and I bet he will be able to achieve anything he wants in life with the work ethic he has learned.
 
That kid was EXTREMELY impressive. However, I always get curious when I see something like this come up. That kid had d*** abnormal strength for his age. It could just be from hard training as everyone has said and I very much believe it could. However, everytime I see something like this it takes me back a few years ago to that really young kid (can't remember age) that was being given steroids by his father and he looked like a mini ronnie coleman before it was all said and done. I actually think that his little heart failed not long ago and he passed away. It's bastards like that that even ruin something simple like this kid doing gymnastics for me.

Leg press calves - 14 reps with 2 plates a side.
Lying leg curls - used hammerstrength machine... 35 lbs on each side - 14x8x6
Squat - 255x8 :D Stoked that I was able to get 8 out. Gonna be going up gradually, no more bouncing around with my numbers, it's time to get myself comfortable under the weight and make steady progress, rather than feeling strong one week and weak another, I'd rather just keep progressing a little slower and steadier.

Weighed in at 199 yesterday. +6 lbs in 2.5 weeks. No BF gain. Best cycle EVER so far. No sides, my libido is like a 13 year old watching baywatch for the first time. I don't feel mdrol strong, but I feel strong, confident and I want to kill the iron. I have a feeling 8 weeks of this is going to be a breeze. Best part so far, NO BACK PUMPS. Thank god. Appetite is up huge too, which is the opposite from my appetite on most of the methyls I have ran.
 
So I might be popping in only once a day, or Once EOD for a little bit... I moved my office to a new location outside of my house, so I will not be able to use my work computer as my home computer. I was supposed to be sold a laptop from my roommate, but he decided to go behind my back and sell it on craigslist after he had agreed to sell it for me because he could get 180 bucks more. Well, needless to say I am fairly pissed off, and don't have a computer to use at my house for the time being.

He's got another thing coming though (He plays online poker for a living... Yea, I know f*cking irresponsible, but whatever it's his choice) since I don't have a computer to use my internet connection for (a business grade 20mb download 10mb upload expensive as f*ck line) I decided to cancel it until I acquire a laptop for my home use. I hope he has fun playing poker all day at the library. I might just end up giving him his 30 day notice... the money isn't the big deal to me, it's the incredible inconvenience he is putting me through since my decision to move my work computer from my home was based around our mutual agreement to sell me the laptop... I had left to go workout with DelSolRob last night at about 6pm, and I came back around 10pm, and he had already sold the laptop of craigslist. Less than 4 hours and he couldn't even wait to ask me if I would pay more for it (which I would have)... all for less than 200 bucks. F*cking Shady. Whatever greedy people aren't what I like to surround myself with, and the guy is addicted to opiates, so it may just be in my best interest to nip this one in the bud.

I honestly think you will gain more muscle by your body having to continuously adapt to the new steadily progressing changes in weight than it adapting to sudden jumps in strength. At least when size is the goal.

You can snag a pretty decent laptop on newegg brand new for like 400 dude. Mostly lenovo and HP.

Yeah and for those who don't know Lenovo is just an IBM in different skin. So the quality is there but the price is better.

Anyway, I go into the gym and see these average joe lookin dudes doing front shoulder front raises with 70lb dumbbells and swinging back and forth like there is a gale force wind in the gym and then I calmly go over to the rack and pick up the 40's and pump out 12 reps with perfect form and they wonder why they look the way they do and how we look the way we do :D. Like you said man, slow and steady will end with growth every time. Keep it up bro!

No doubt. It never ceases to amuse. Head to the gym if you are having a bad day and you can always get a good laugh from somewhere! :D It's always like a "Who can swing the weight the highest" competition and nearly everyone is a pro! And then you always get those dudes who say "D***, are you on steroids or something? I'm using all this weight and can't seem to grow? And look at you with your weights." Then I just cooly walk over to the rack and smile as I listen to my music and pump out another perfect 10 or 11. Ha ok enough making fun of those dudes. But on a serious note. Hypertrophy training is the isht man and I personally love it (cut or bulk) especially on a bulk though because you will GROW :cheers:. Keep it up brotha!

Man you do not need that in your life. Sounds like there is no integrity there, and that is a shame. I wish I had a good laptop to hook you up with. Man, that is my peeve, a lot of times I can't help myself and I go ask them what they are trying to work. Or Instead of telling them they are doing it wrong I just say. Hey you know you will get a lot more out of that if you do it this way. Then tell them but you will have to drop the weight because you wont be able to lift that much this "special way" (IE good form.) LOL I placatew them telling them I hasd to drop weight when I learned it to. Sometimes I just tell a guy next to them how silly peoplelook doing 3 inch leg presses or 1/4 motion benches just to put weight on the bar. Hoping they hear me. I mean they are sheep without someone to herd them in they will wander aimlessly. I remember when GYM employees used to do that you know help the people who needed it. Not charge them 30-50 an hour to regurgitate the same 3 workouts programs over and over like it is special.

They were grateful for it and I was happy to help. But now, since I'm in a bigger place, if I try to help someone they are like "ok." and then they get pissed at me for telling them that they were doing it wrong :wtf1: (and I always wait until they ask me for help I never butt in). So I have just learned to go with the flow and everytime I go into the gym it brings a since of security in knowing that hardly anyone knows how to truly be a bodybuilder. Kinda like a breath of fresh air when you walk into your gym and it has that familiar smell and you know that it's where you want to be and exactly what your goal is. And yeah, personal training is over-rated in most situations but heck why not make money off of people that are to lazy to do their own research :D. My clients trust in me to help them out and that is exactly what I do and they thank me AND pay me for it (unlike those average-joe know-it-all weight slingers that creep around the gym). So in those respects I don't mind a bit. But I applaud you for trying to "cheat" the system in hopes of people actually trying to do things the right way :cheers:. There is a big difference in weight-slingers and weight lifters.

I feel you on all counts. I choose who I approach, if they look brand new, or what they are doing is dangerous to them. It has to be pretty radical for me to even notice when I am working out cuz I am in the zone.

As far as personal training, I think they are a vital and important part of fitness for many people. I was one and will become one again on a part time basis. My statement was geared toward the club employed trainers at most gyms. They have club certifications but not any real recognized certs. Give out the same 3 workout programs to everyone. Same dietary advice. The not so good trainers. We have 2 trainers at our gym out of 8 that have any real knowledge as far as I can tell. The others are all giving out the cookie cutter advice. I somehow imagine you are not like that.

Thanks bro for the compliment and I would never waste someone's time or money. Plus too, it is a passion of mine to work through macro's and micro's and customize workouts and to see my clients improve and reach their goals. There is nothing better than seeing your client come in and have the biggest smile on their face because they actually don't feel ashamed to wear short shorts (women) and muscle shirts (men) and they actually do look dang good in them! Greatest feeling in the world turning someone's life around :D :D :D. But nice to see a fellow CPT in the house. From the way you talk you are sure to be a good one as well.

But yeah I hate to see some of the so called "CPT's" giving people BS workouts and just telling them to do machine circuits with 2lbs and they will be great. Yeah.....right. I agree with you 110% there. :cheers:

beast mode buddy. I have an old laptop here but it is literally sh*t. Been to Iraq, Germany, Japan and back...seems to be on it's last legs. Other than that BS you went through the numbers on this cycle are sick! and it is just beginning!

Love the ROM conversation gents...

I love getting the whole motion involved, its FUNCTIONAL strength. I seriously see a couple guys doing rope pulldowns with 1" ROM around mid flexion. I guess they are really trying to hone in on something - but they just look like tools.

Incline bench is another peeve... 3 or 4 inches then going straight back up.

Hey guys - UPDATE -

So thanks for all the support with my computer issues. I actually am computerless even at work at the moment. I am typing this off an old laptop that has such a slow refresh rate I can see the page lag as I scroll down the browser. :lol:

My Mac it turns out has a fried CPU-B (Dual processor), but macs use server grade processors, so it was actually heating up to 130 degrees CELCIUS and causing the fans to go at around 3200rpm. It sounded like my computer was a DC-10 about to take off. I literally was afraid it was going to fly away. :lol:

So, I took it to the "Geniuses" at the Mac Bar in town, and luckily my ish was still under warranty. It would have been a 1500 dollar problem... whew. So I ended up ordering a new laptop off of TigerDirect, I got an ACER for a really good deal. It should be here tomorrow or Monday.

As far as the roomate situation goes, I am probably gonna lay down a rule that if I catch him with opiates or under the influence of them (being an ex user myself of many narcotics I can tell when he is under the influence... not that it takes a rocket scientist if you know what to look for) he gets the boot. I am really too stressed at the moment to deal with it before monday, I am not in any fear of my stuff being stolen, and I know where his parents live (he is about 5 years my minor, so dealing with his parents would be a pretty harsh situation in his case) so if something was to be stolen, I would re-appropriate from those responsible for him.

Now to answer cycle questions -

I have ran a M1D/MMV2 cycle, Epistane, Mdrol, and Hdrol/Oristan A.

This is the most productive/best feeling cycle I have ran. I feel that the ablity to utilize non-methyls to their full potential through the UTT system makes them as strong as the methyl steroids (Mdrol being the exception) as far as growth is concerned. strength is starting to ramp up, but my growth has been rediculous, this I attribute to my appetite not being dampened by a methylated hormone doing a number on my liver. I also am enjoying the incredible... let me repeat myself... INCREDIBLE libido boost of the 4AD.

My shipment came in from the person I ordered it from, and honestly he was pretty on top of it when it came to getting it to me... I just hadn't heard from him in a few days and got irritated, but all in all he was pretty responsive, so no harm there. Rob - you can have your bottle back, I appreciate you letting me "borrow it". I estimated out the doses today, and I have started my double dosing of 4AD, I am now taking 2ml in the morning, and 2ml in the afternoon. I ended up taking 2ml last night to start off the new dosing protocol, and I woke up with morning wood like I haven't had since jr high. I mean, it would not go away.

I will start the dosing of the 1T by PP tonight at 4 pumps ED.

I ended up doing a hypertrophy upper body workout this week rather than DC style because I worked out with Rob on Tuesday, and finished off my back yesterday. Here are some of the highlights, don't really remember all the numbers as we were at Rob's gym and I didn't have my logbook.

Flat Bench DB press - 95sx8
Military Hammerstrength - 205x8
Tricep dip - BW+45 x15
Weighted Pull up - BW+25 x10
BB row - 225x8
DB row - 110x11

Got in a couple cardio sessions, mostly recumbant bike for 20-30 minutes, but also one 20 minute elyptical session.

Kleen - Flattering, but you will more than likely make me look like a chump in the gym. I am looking forward to it though, I do my best when I am pushed by people who can lift more than me. Looking forward to tearing up the iron with you!
 
Hey G what are you running the 4ad and 1ad at? I'm interested to see and those results you have alread are awesome! Keep it up!

Everything has been at the recomended dose. I am now dosing the 4AD at 4ml a day, and the 1AD at 2. I am going to be adding in tonight a 4 pump dose of PP's 1T. so that should be the equivalent to 4ml of 1AD if the conversions are what they are quoted at... perhaps give or take 10mg. DHEA will be added in transdermally tonight though with the PP 1T, so we'll see what that adds as well.

Nice, the 4ad should treat you ok at 4ml. Good luck! I used 1-t awhile back, I can't remember what doses... but I don't remember it being a good cycle at all for me.
 
I understand that you plan on using AMS's pct, and formestane...? Well, seeing how you are adding in 1-t, are you fearing any shut down or gyno symptoms?. . Im really wanting to know if you planning on running a serm.
