Next PES Insider Deal???

So I blew off the first Insider email as I still have a ton of my RawDynamix protein. Then I got the second "ending tonight" email and said "F" it, it's food, and I'll eventually eat it (so the marketing guys did their jobs well :) ). I ordered 6 of the 3.76lb jugs. My math shows it at $10.65/Lb + $5.99 Shipping. Hoping the flavoring isn't as "light" as the PBC and Blondie 1/2 serv samples I've had.

Has PES ever stated how many grams of each type of protein are in there? With a prop blend, it could be a lot more WPC than Casein (from the Milk). I already know they won't say how much Leucine Peptides.

I *love* Vanilla - It's my fav flav, so I hope this is as good or better than Dymatize Elite XT Vanilla in taste :)

I think you'll find it as your favorite vanilla. Honestly haven't seen anyone post that it isn't there favorite vanilla. Some even have said they like it more than Snickerdoodle or PBC.

I've tried twice so far both times in water. It's definitely a good vanilla. I can taste the vanilla beans. It also has the perfect amount of sweetness. It also has a salty taste it as well. The kind of salty powdered milk has if that makes any sense. Definitely one of the better vanillas but I still think I give the edge to Modern Protein's Vanilla. However, PES did a great job with this and I will certainly enjoy the tub

Had my first serving of Vanilla Select with 6oz water, and it's amazing; the best vanilla protein I've had so far. I got my tub in the mail right after lunch, but I had to try it right away. Now I'm resisting the urge to have another serving, and another...

taste kinda like a gourmet cupcake icing

Thanks for the feedback guys. ?

I couldn't resist having another scoop this evening, this time with 8oz water instead of 6. It still tasted just as good, but lasted a bit longer. I'm looking forward to trying some more interesting things with it, but I don't want to go through my whole tub tonight, haha.

Snickerdoodle whey+oats+sultanas+cinnamon+honey+ginger+mixed spice+pumpkin seeds+frozen blueberries=perfect.

Overnight oats harder than me :P

Gourmet Vanilla >> Snickerdoodle, in my opinion. :)

Arrives on Thurs, so I'll post up. As long as it's a *good* Vanilla, I'll be ecstatic. There are a lot of different ways to do Vanilla and they all can be top notch - I equate it to Ice Cream: Breyers Vanilla vs Hagen Das... both are fricken awesome but taste different :)

Good point.

On another board, someone explained the taste as melted Breyers, so I'm interested in your feedback.

lol, I have to stay on the topic of ice cream as I have literally just replied to these on another forum;

Tastes like melted Breyers ice cream. Really well done, solid vanilla flavor.

Definitely agree that Gourmet Vanilla is liquid Vanilla ice cream, it totally lives up to the hype. Wish I had ordered more than just a 55 serving, but funds didn't allow for much more. Nonetheless, this takes the cake as my favorite Vanilla over Protogen and Trutein.

Mine is still in Florida :(

But expected by tomorrow :)

And shipping weight is listed as 25 lbs., despite my ordering 20 lbs....sooooo that leads me to believe that I have received a complimentary tub, a tank top, and some samples.

Good job, bdcc ! ;)

Im loving this flavor. Not a big vanilla guy, but this one is perfect. Been mixing with whole milk. Alsowill be good with some frozen fruit. Good job fellas.

You get a free puppy!

And one less tub, but the puppy will be jacked.

Even a non-vanilla fan is enjoying the flavor. Impressive. :)

I'm so jelly right now but it will be here tomorrow.

Got home to a big ol box on the porch.

Shout out to PES for hooking it up with one of the new shakers (got one on the HV insider and really like the look and feel of them).

Wife was making dinner and I was already at my macros for the day, but I went ahead and just tried one scoop. Sadly something went wrong but I'm not sure what just yet lol.

I have a ProMixx blender and it's awesome. Just got the 2.0 and not sure if it's because the motor is different or I just had some water up in there (because I screwed on the v1 motor). Anyway, it just didn't mix right at all.

I tried 6 oz. CarbMaster vanilla milk and started the motor to dump the protein in. It mixed up crazy thick and then the protein wouldn't really mix and left some clumps. That thing is genrally fantastic at mixing proteins (i don't use it for anything else since preworkouts and everything else are so thin).

So I'll have some experimenting to do coming up and I'll be reporting back.

Mad jealous brother! Definitely let me know how your follow ups go. Sounds like a malfunction with your equipment or something.

Carbmaster Milk + Gourmet Vanilla is going to be insane!!!

I know; just gotta figure out if it was the blender or just too little liquid.

I think I'm gonna try to mix it with the chocolate too...

If I were a gambling man, I would bet too little liquid as it's a casein/whey blend, 6 oz of milk is not much. Keep us posted though.

I would too, for a thick blend like Select.

Although I have used Select in 6 oz. fine before, just poor luck maybe

Friggin USPS won't deliver mine without signing for it. Wtf. Tried 3 times to have them leave it at the door. Now o have to wait another day and go pick it up. Bastards.

They won't deliver because they drank it homie.

Well last time I stocked up on the PBC insider I didn't know about CarbMaster yet, so this is my first time using it with Select instead of water or skin milk. I was wanting a more concentrated taste, but I probably screwed up going with that low of an amount with milk (whereas I may have been ok with water).

Sorry for the newb question but what is this carb master you speak of?

A Kroger (grocery chain) brand. They make awesome milk and yogurt.

Oh ok nice. I have a kroger right down the street. I'm assuming it's in their organic/health section? I'll have to take a look.

They have their own Carbmaster yogurts.
Been saying this since day 1 with Select

8g protein, 4g carbs, 2g fat each carbmaster and come in tons of flavors.

nothing wrong with buying the 900g tubs of vanilla. Goes with anything.

Oh for sure. Cinnamon roll and banana creme pie are great. I want pumpkin and the other cake flavors lol. May have to check out one up in Louisville and scout it out.

Has no one made ice cream yet?

I'll be topping everything with scoops of gourmet vanilla ice cream I feel

Going to have to check out Carbmaster, thanks. What's are the macros on the milk? Price? (I get 1/2% for about $3.10/Gal).

IIRC it's 11g protein per 8 oz. and then the fat is either 0 or like 1-1.5 with carbs really low too. I'm sure Bob probably has it memorized ;) lol

But it's really good and also adds a nice bit of protein to a shake for your total macros.
