Never Listen to Milas about RecoverPro

I can barely fit through the door with my ego after that Dr. visit. I go every 3 months for SubQ (Into the fat, not muscle) shots for my psoriasis. The nurse who gives them was pinching on my arm and told me "Richard, you have a lot more muscle then I remember. I'm having a hard time finding a great spot to give you the shot" She ended up giving it to me on my stomach. Ego fully charged. feelsgoodman.jpg. Now I just need to get down to around 12% BF before my next 3 month shot and really confuse her. :-D

Nice Bro, behind you all the way!

I'm doing chemistry homework...it's only math...it's not hard; it's just time consuming and therefore irritating.

I'm so glad I'm done with my chemistries. I'm doing Biomechanics which is really just physics and trig.

Why do we choose things like this? I just want to be an RD who doesn't know this stuff and can tell people what foods to eat based on knowledge I'd read for free on the internetz! lol

Add some Halotestin, A-bombs, and sprinkle in a little DNP and you're good to go (the old "liver-in-a-bag" cycle)

LOL :p

Anyone try Dymatize XT Fudge Brownie? Gonna pick up AI's Cycle Support peanut butter that's on sale for 20 bucks right now and figured I would throw in a tub of protein and the price ain't bad on Nutra.

Or how about American Iso Chocolate or Rocky Road?

American Iso made the news not too long ago for non-pure protein I thought I had read. I know I was told to avoid that brand. I'd like to try some of the NTBM Rock Road.

Hmm, the cycle support for 20 bucks is too good of a deal for me to pass up and I'm gonna need it coming up, but I want to make the shipping worth it which is why I'm looking to add in the protein as I always need more. Any suggestions on protein at a decent price on Nutra? Hoping to keep it 40 or under.

I got a bag of the American Iso Rocky Road on Black Friday. To be honest, something called "Iso" that is predominantly concentrate (IIRC) bothered me, but cheap protein is cheap protein.

It tastes good, but Whey 2 Build Muscle is better. The Iso has a fake tasting sweetness to it that makes me feel like there is a ton of sugar or something else in it that isn't listed on the label.

Haven't tried NTBM's protein yet, but I'm sure I'll get around to it before too long. Wish they were at Nutra.

Hehe, true SO true. This protein tastes so sweet I almost wonder if it's real.

I actually have burned through 15lbs of protein this past december... trying to hit 400g a day on my cycle of Sdrol. 280g from food 120g from powder.... That's like 6 scoops a day... one bag lasted around 10-12 days....

Oh it is rich! I love chocolate and this is top notch. I was thinkin about getting some soon too.

MWB~ I think i remember Matt Lalonde talking about hashimoto's in Chris Kresser's Podcast "The Healthy Skeptic". The diet he recommends is insane though... Not to tell you what you can't eat... may as well start with what you can.... Meat, veggies. And not all veggies, only some... and they have to be cooked. I heard this pod cast A LONG time ago so I am not sure on the details but Matt Lalonde is a PhD student i believe, studying human metabolism and a bio chemist. Something to check out.

Rich? Compare it to Nutrapro and syntha 6 please. Nutrapro is perfect for me and syntha 6 is waaaay to rich.

sorry, never had either of those. But I like rich chocolate. You can always dilute it with more milk and/or water.

Yeah I know, but I usually like to mix it in the least amount of water I can and then just sip plain water.

OMFG SYNTHA 6 is the most amazing protein evar~! too bad they use protein blends I try to stay away from....

I used to really like All The Whey, but then about a year ago they had all kinds of issues, people were complaining about bits of plastic, burnt tastes, off tastes, and orders were taking forever to arrive. I never had those issus myself, but decided not to go back to them after hearing all that.

Friends of mine LOVED all the whey. Said the cinnamon bun was amazing. I always liked scivation's protein. MGN's is cheap. (Oddly the last couple pages seem to actually contain information here... odd for this thread)

Very interesting, man.

The one thing is that science dictates caloric expenditure reigning king, so I could understand not feeling well or things of that nature, but not an inability to lose weight.

well basically in Hashimoto's the body just can't even make energy. Auto immune to the thyroid. Basically, you have to only eat foods that the body can readily break down.. fats/proteins/carbs, in their natural state only altered by heat in order to help in the digestive process. Also, the base cause of the auto immunity is leaky gut and the foods getting into the blood stream and getting stuck to stuff (organs) and causing the body to create anti bodies that end up attacking the whole organ. Granted I took probably books of info and made it into a cartoon (At least in my head) that's what I think has happened lol.

I have vitiligo which is auto immunity of the skin. So if I eat too wheat for too long I get white spots all over my body....

I like Dymatize but the Fudge Brownie isn't very good. Cycle Support always tastes gross in every flavor but works well.

ah thanks buddy! that's sweet

YOU ARE WRONG!!!

Anyone try Protein Factory?

i know right

I remember my first day in a gym. Went to football tryouts with a friend. I benched 95lbs @ 260lbs, Squatted 135, and powercleaned the bar. It was a sad day for an aspiring linesman... who never made the team lol. Well I kinda just stopped going cause I have a whole slew of academics to do...

This is very interesting.

I've never heard this before. Everything I've read on Hashimoto's has never pointed to this or even mentioned it. My understanding has been that it's just a matter of keeping an eye on the thyroid numbers to ensure that they don't get out of wack (keep the TSH under 1). I'll have to mention this to my doctor. Where did you come up with this info?
