hI, Im sure we are all familiar with that phrase and as we all continue to improve ourselves by pumping iron . its never more true.

As we continually push ourselves hoping for perfection , very few know what we are like behind that exterior.

I would like to share with you this link which was taken from a UK TV show .Please watch it all the way through and listen inparticular to the comments made by the female judge AMANDA HOLDEN .Her words are so very true.

Absolutely amazing. I am so happy for her, I almost cried. Too often are people shunned and ignored for what they can do because people judge and expect failure unless you fit their stereotype of success.

I hope she rocks her entire nation. Amazing. I loved Simons face!

I don't know if my hormones are out of whack or if I'm just a sensitive guy, but that made me tear up. I'm very happy for her. That was great.

j/k I teared up too, nothing wrong with seeing someone get to experience true bliss and happiness and to be able to grasp their dreams. She seems like someone who more than deserves this.

and this is why i never under estimate anyone. i love the fact she was gettin jeered at when she first came out. then tore it up.

Here is the most enlightening thing about the video: we all wish we could sit here and say, "I never judged her", but; when it comes down to it, our reactions were most likely similar to the crowds'.

When you view something like that, it truly puts into perspective the judgmental language of mind that we have all agreed upon - very inspiring and awakening alike.
 
Paul Potts won Britain's Got Talent last year or year before I believe. He quit his day job after that. Simon Cowell will be producing a movie about Paul's life journey.
 
Just a follow up to this which i heard on BBC news today (sunday) that it has been suggested by Elaine Page that the two sing a duet together , so i hope that will come off. Elaine Page if you recall , was Susan Boyles idol and wanted to aspire to her. Elaine Page has appeared on Broadway and Londons West end in theatre productions as the lead. I put that in because i dont know if you are familiar with her in the States.

Not sure if this made the news in the US but Susan Boyle came second in the Britains Got Talent contest . She lost out to a dance group called DIVERSITY-Check them out on You Tube or ITV1.COM
Unfortunately the pressure got to her and is now recovering in a private clinic with stress and exhaustion . 14 weeks ago she was unknown outside her home town in Scotland .a 46 year old single woman who lived with her cat.I understand President Obama has requested her to sing at the White House -whether she will or not remains to be seen
 
I still don't like her and glad she didn't win. She is a woman in the first place and should take care herself, you know, go get a decent haircut, put some makeup on. I don't really get it, why people get so ****ing amused because some ugly woman can sing?

That's just where she's from and how she was brought up, man. She's not worried about it, so we shouldn't be either. I know what you mean; women and men as well should take care of themselves, but at the same time...this woman can sing far better than any of the cash-cow divas in Hollywood right now.

Understand. I never made an argument about her talent, she can sing for sure, doesn't mean I have to like her...
I guess she's just not my type. :)

But seriously, my point was, if she was better looking, I don't think she would get as much attention.

ha ha.. although I think she has a great voice, I also don't know why ppl think ugly people can't sing. But I guess ppl must be used to seeing singers who've had $thousands worth of augmentation done to their looks.
