I am 6'2, and went from great (ok... good) shape 210lbs to 250lbs mostly fat (over a year) due to death in family, loss of fiance, being a whiny ***** (hehe) and not having the dedication to eat right and hit the gym

Couple questions....
I just bought ragnarok (excuse spelling) aftering reading these great reviews.... but noticed its about 14 grams behind on nitric compounds. I plan to supplement 10 grams of cheap GNC Arginine powders on my workout days (good/bad idea)?

Right now I take smoothie king protien shakes (low cal and 45g per serving), I take about 2 a day. I also eat a lot of chicken and turkey (lean meat) for protien. Do I need more protien?

Ragnarok has plenty of Arginine, and other NOS boosting ingredients in it...there is no need to supplement with extra arginine since arginine in itself doesnt really do anything for lean mass increases...maybe pick up some levi and dcp to stack with ur ragnarok...yes u need more protein...considering ur bodyweight...if u visit the diet/nutrition section they can help u out ALOT more...Welcome to AM (i know its not ur first post but i havent welcomed u yet)

keep with it bro! and stick around here, all the info, advice, and help you'll ever need. search and read a lot. I too have heard Ragnarok is awesome, good luck with it and your goals!

oh and I agree no real need for the extra arginine. You could return it and Maybe check out NP's store for some bulk products if you do still want to add more arginine, or maybe creatine or beta alanine etc. should be much better deals.

Did you get the 50% off thing in the mail too? I just bought a tub of the Ragnarok. I think the arganine already in it should be good enough. Never a huge fan of it myself.

For protein have you counted the grams of protein you normally eat (not just a perfect day)? A good standard to hit for someone working out regularly is 1-1.5g/lb of bodyweight. Stay low on the carbs and the weight should come off pretty quick.
