Natural Androgenic

I am still developing and i want to masculinize my features. I think I screwed up my estrogen and lowered my testosterone with an srri for 5 months but i am off now. I look a little more feminine than i used to and gained some weight (on my ass especially). I do not want to close my growth plates if i havent already ****ed it up but i do want something I can cycle that will not have side effects. I have already cut out soy, tea, eggs, and milk from my diet. I have read of apple skin and mustard seed which contain natural androgens. I know creatine increases DHT by a lot but i am worried if it boosts estrogen too. any suggestions on what to take and what else to cut from my diet?

If something seems that far out of whack, always best to consult your doctor

As they've said, see a doctor.

I can identify with you man. I had a lot of body image issues surrounding my "feminine" shape during puberty.

3 best things I can think of are:

1. Heavy compound lifts such as deadlift and squat (make sure you get some coaching on form if you don't have the movements down). If you're running, stop running and do this instead.

2. Lose bodyfat via diet. Aromatase, which is responsible for the conversion of testosterone to estrogen, comes from fat cells (amongst other places) and lowering your bodyfat can reduce it.

3. Sleep. There is a lot of evidence that sleep improves body composition (muscle vs fat ratio). And if you're still developing there are many other very good reasons to get enough deep restful sleep. If you're on antidepressants I'm guessing there's a chance you haven't been getting good, restful sleep (for any number of reasons). If that's true, figure that **** out! You won't regret putting in the time to do so.

And even better, these 3 things will be synergistic and will support each other as you go. You can make great progress over a few months just doing these 3 things.

ALL this ^^, YES, SSRI's increase estrogen and lower testosterone, I always tell people to stay the fug away from that ****

doctors dont know **** about this. i ****ing hate their ignorance, prescribing this bull**** left and right without even making sure its safe and even after a lot of people figure it out they dont even fix it. i went and they blew it off. I had my test and est check both were above the normal range which they said was normal for my age. which really doesnt prove anything, the damage is already done. it really doesnt matter at this point. I am considering cissus quadrangularis but i have read about it having estrogenic activity and modifying bone repairing. and i dont want to chance closing my growth plates. I dont look that different, but i can tell i have been changed for the worse. thanks for the feedback, but I want to take a supplement for this.
edit: i probably already ****ing closed them, i looked it up and estrogen closes growth plates. which makes sense because i stopped growing about when i started taking them. FML. I am still interested in a supplement to man up my face some.

Looking for solutions in a pill is what got you into this mess (if you believe that the hormonal changes from the ssri caused the problem - something I'm not 100% convinced of, personally).

What kind of training regimen and diet do you currently have?

It really doesnt matter what it is, as long as its an androgen. I dont have a regimen, i lift about 3 times a week and my diet is pretty clean

Dude you sound really desperate, and I'm sorry you're in that state because it sucks. But remember the first rule of holes: stop digging. You seem pretty bent on digging further and no one can stop you, but remember that REAL lasting change takes time and lots of work.

For me, the single greatest change I've made to my physique is getting my training and diet down. And yes, that includes my chubby little face, which has become a lot more angular since I started being serious about training and diet. For me, such training resources as Eric Cressey and Mike Robertson allowed me to make changes to my body's form and function that I never before considered possible. My only wish is that I had know about it when I was younger.

First step before you take anything else is get bloodwork. Otherwise you will never know what your levels are now.

My levels are fine, i am not on the drug. I want something to reverse what happened during the 5 months with a ****ed test/est ratio

If your levels are fine now then what is the problem? There is no one here that is going to tell you to put an androgen in your body.

I see your point, but if theres something i can do about it i will do whatever it takes

I gave you 3 things you could do about it. Sounds like you want a magic fix though. You don't actually want to do anything - you want a pill to do something to you.

Dude, not knocking you at all man but how old are you if you are worrying about your growth plates closing you must be young. Taking an androgen now will only make things worse on you. First go see an Endocrinologist not a PCP. Get you bloods tested the changes you refer to will change on their own as your body corrects itself. If you were getting gyno I could see a major worry but you sound way over stressed here. Either you are down playing the changes or your estro is actually high because you are reacting like it is...

Most help you are gonna get here is the recommendation to go see and Endo, second best IF you do have higher estro is they will give you something to correct it. If not buy some ERASE. It will lover you estrogen and naturally increase your test. Quit worrying about your platelets closing up. Height with in reason has no factor on quality of life. How you live it does.

You said above that you will do whatever it takes but have shunned everyone here who told you to go to a doctor instead of asking what kind of doctor to go to. Man if you want an excuse to do steroids don't ask for permission. If you want to try to correct your situation there are steps you have not even come close to taking that need to be explored before using an androgen. First go to an endocrinologist who specializes in the hormone system. Any other type of doctor is just about wasting your time if you aren't willing to do that then don't say you will do anything say you will take ANY SHORTCUT.

Go see a doctor or ...

Don't do a damn thing except eat right and lift heavy. Don't know if you're screwed up - but you should return to homeostasis on your own over time. Adding self-proscribed compounds at this point could really end up screwing you up for a great deal longer.

Just eat right and lift heavy.

Blood tests... it's the only way to know what your test/estrogen levels are. Guessing isn't a good idea.

Division 1 and TCF-1 stack would be decent for raising DHT levels... BUT NOT BEFORE BLOODS ARE DONE!
