Whoops, meant busy. Your a busy dude.
It starts with the core and grip strength. I have grappled with guys that are 150 lbs and would be up embarrassing numbers in the gym, but are EXTREMELY difficult to move because they have wrestled for 15 years. There is something about the core strength that you get from judo, wrestling, and BJJ combined with their vice-like grip.
Ok thank's that makes more sense. I didn't even go in to half of what i got going on this month. I almost thought about waiting till May because this month is going to be soo busy but i needed something to look forward to with all this hectic crap going on.LOL
When's life not hectic/busyNo better time than the present...
Agreed, the goal is to create a training environment that incorporates weighted/explosive/functional movements that are imperative to on field athletics. No bubbles and balls training, biceps curls, or butt machine bs, incorporate oly lifts, and use the basics bench/deads/squats and dynamic cardio. At least that's how I feel...
wow nice start. Thinking of running an hdrol clone with andro lean atm for a recomp. Will be checking back here to watch your progress![]()
Thoughts on the Andro: Still feel grat and getting a good pump today if the first day that i've felt a real thermogenic effect by the end of my workout i was swaeting like crazy and my body temp. felt throught the roof. Even know over a hour later my body temp feel elevated. This if the first day i took 50mg of haloplex so it might have something to do with that.Only down side sofar is that i'm getting back pumps. They where getting pretty sever by the end of my workout. I started taking Taurine at 5 grams prework out next time i'll up it to 7 to see if that helps.
Why not do stiff-legged deads? That way you stay balanced and keep the hamstrings loose.
Dosing at rec dose? Back pumps? Iiiiiiiiinteresting.
I got back and shin pumps on a halo clone as well man. had to get up to 7-10 grams of Taurine to alleviate those
How's your overall electrolyte intake (Na, Cl, K, Mg, etc.)?
Day 9:
Workout:
Bench 165 10x10 superseted with
BB rows 110 10x10
Back flye 110 3x10
Incline db press 40 3x10
I was pretty pumped to finish todays sets i know 165lb bench isn't much but around the 8th set i really started to feel it. I'm not sure if its the Andro or just the GVT but i've been getting good pumps on almost every exersice. I've also been hungary all the time, making it hard to stick to a good diet.Tomorrow in a lighter day with some cardio curios to see if back pumps will be much of a issue now that i'm on Taurine.
Whats Cl as far as i know thats Cholrine
During my workouts i take Volumize from Bsn and 1 scoop of Whey. They both have your basic electrolytes but not in high quanitys. I also take my multi about 1 hr before going to the gym.

Have you ever thought of something like sugar free powerade? Ive thought of either using that or just getting powdered Gatorade.
Fish oil didn't help my joints until I got to 20grams, have you tried cissus or celladrin (sp)?Day 11
Ezybar curl 70 10x10 super seted with
Skullcrushers 70 10x10
Dips Bw 3x10
Hammercurls 40 3x10
Each workout that i up the weight i keep thinking that i'm not going to be able to finish. By the time set 7-8 come around i think i'll never finish but i just get in a zone and there no way i'm going to let my self come up short. Thats one thing i like about the GVT when you finish you feel like you've really accomplished something. The down side is that the high volume is killing my joints. I already take a Joint multi and 5 grams of Fish oil but i'm going to have to find something more if i'm to keep this up for a few more weeks.

I can't imagine taking that much. I haven't tried either but heard good about cissus don't now much about the other have to look into it. Thanks

I take 10 grams regularly. I think 5 grams is just too low.
I'm going to up to atleast 8 to see if I notice a difference.
I had to work through lunch today and didn't make it to the gym so not much to say. I'm going out of town this weekend so I won't get a chance to make it up.
Oh and by the way I'm 30 today
The big 3-0! Happy birthday bud:friday:
It feels like I just turned 21, but I'll be 27 in a few months. The older I get, the faster time goes by.
Do you have kids Rodja? That is where you really see time fly.
No children, but I have 3 dogs that occupy my time. My oldest I've had for almost six years now and it makes me sad because he's getting gray and can't move around as well as he could when he was a puppy.

Sub'd...
Happy B-day.
I take animal flex and is one of my only "staples". I love it. Elbows/Knees used to bother me more when I was doing more preacher curls/distance running. Since taking the flex I've had minimal issues.
Keep up the good work.

You'd be surprised how much elbow pain is actually caused by shoulder impingements, weak rotator cuff muscles, and neglected lower traps.
