I can not walk 21 miles today I worked last night and tonight ... is it ok too say my soul is a tad exhausted ...Too much missing info to be precise, but let's use the common guidelines and say 1 mile at a 4 mph pace burns 100 calories. You need to walk 21 miles to burn those calories. Think about that the next time you are given cupcakes.

well said... true storyNone of that will burn calories or build Muscle. If you'd been doing this regularly for a year and ate shyt one day, no big deal. Just hit it hard the next day. You just started and ate 6 cupcakes. You're at the mental stage of this, where you are trying to make a lifestyle change. Would one cupcake kill you? Nope. Problem is you get cupcakes and eat 6. That's what has to change. No amount of being cute and funny will change that.
Next time someone brings you cupcakes, say No thanks, I'm trying to lose weight.

It does. stacy1212 , if you do that, lets say, every 2 weeks, it could be beneficial. The problem is, knowing that you can do it now- and then is poison for your mind, because it makes cheating acceptable.
Try to avoid it at all cost -and if the urges comes, do it after a workout (don't care what others say) and consider some gummy bears instead.

Going to have to respectfully disagree with you on this one. You understand the consequences and will work off your cheat, Stacy doesn't understand it. She did it because it's habit and that's what you do with cupcakes. We all understand it because we've been there too. How many people have you seen come on here, all ready to go, going to finally get in shape and keep to it. A few weeks later and they're back to their old ways. Sometimes, I think we get a little carried away with the "love and support". Sometimes, maybe we need to let people know that they screwed up.
