Sitting at 230 lbs still, and the legs are showing a bit of vein again :) gonna be a good recomp for the next six to eight weeks.

Killed it today. I moved back to MD training last week so I'm on week two atm.

Chest and shoulders went well....besides the part where I got pinned doing incline barbell press LoL. I have never done that before so it was neat....Got a great loaded stretch at least :)

Oh it was nice. Last set of eight seventh rep was a tad hard.....eighth rep went down nice and the tank just ran out before I could hook on the first catch. Lucky there were people in there at least lol
 
Considerably better shape then the last time I weighed 230 lol

Idk what this is worth to you, but I started buying the big frozen ziploc bags of Dole blueberries so I never have to worry about my berries going bad, and they're much cheaper, but the biggest benefit is as soon as I throw em into a hot bowl of oats they instantly thaw and the oatmeal goes from scalding to the perfect temp to eat right away.

This is exactly what I do for my blueberries as well. After buying the big box a few times at Sam's and half of them getting mushy I got tired of it. I started buying the big bag of Dole Blueberries and have never looked back. They are also amazeballs for a protein smoothie, just drop a cup in the blender with a tiny bit of ice, some fluid and 2 scoops of protein and you have a bit of heaven!

Yeah they really cool off a blended drink - last month blended them with some Berry protein from muscle pharm and it was like a big chilled berry smoothie. Vanilla and strawberry obviously work awesome too.

Think I'm going to get their mixed berries next time. Pretty quality stuff it seems.
 
I do the same with the frozen blue berries. Add a 1/2 cup to protein shakes ... to oatmeal ... etc... They never spoil in the freezer and they're a great addition to any protein shake.

Meal two post workout- 50g isopure (gross) handful of gummy bears

Meal three - subway 6inch wheat double meat grilled chicken breast with mustard and pickles no cheese

Legs today -

leg curls to warm-up

Leg press 8 sets of 20-25

Hacks five sets starting at 315 slowly ramping up to 405x8 then four drop sets

Extensions 5'sets 15

Bulgarian split squats 4 sets to failure each leg
 
Are you carb-cycling right now?

Cutting carbs pretty far back for a while to improve insulin resistance. I'll add them back in slowly while reducing fat along the way.
 
I was gonna say, I only count like 100g for meals 2 & on.

Yeah I've always been carb intolerant so the numbers won't get crazy....maybe 300 max.

Once I get to where I feel the carbs going to the right places I'll keep bumping them up until the fat starts to accumulate. When that happens I'll bring them back down and so on and so forth.

Just a long term bulking plan to continue on. Next October is when the show I would like to shoot for is being held. Gonna be looking into finding a new coach soon as well.

Not that they probably fall into your diet (as they're processed and will digest significantly faster than regular cooked quinoa), but I just discovered that they make quinoa patties to be heated (like soy burgers). And they're pretty good, srs. I hate quinoa, but turns out if you grind something up and make it meat flavored I'm pretty g2g. Guy at work's wife is a crazy vegan and he has to eat salad sandwiches, so that was big for him.

Also had some mesquite bbq quinoa chips from Aldi last week, and while those had as much corn and potato starch as quinoa, they were awesome. Not like just okay for having a fad food in them, like they were truly awesome and the whole bag of 3 servings had 24g protein, 15 fat and under 30g carbs.

Back with a little biceps thrown in.

Back sets were 6-10 on primary exercise and 10-15 on ss exercise.

Biceps sets were 10-12 focusing on squeezing the **** out of the contraction.

4 sets of Pull ups ss mid grip pull down 2 count pause on contraction

4 sets low close grip cable rows ss band rows 1.5's reps

4 sets Yates rows

5 sets Rack pulls

4 sets Seated bicep curls

4 sets Ez bar curls

4 sets preacher curl machine
 
Pre workout meal was 2 whole eggs, 10 whites 1/2c oats.

Post workout 50g isolate 50g karbolyn

1hr later 10oz tuna 1/2c black beans
 
Friggin killer workout man! Hmm, black beans...I need to pick up some more.
 
I freaking fell in love with black beans when Steve and I were working together. Always keep some on hand to break up the monotony of rice.
