Montego an Snagency tag-team with FINAFLEX in the corner

I was doing the pre cooked thing but it gets expensive. About a dollar fifty for 44g of carbs....five lbs of Jasmine is six bucks

You're all doing it wrong - bulk boxes of instant brown rice. $1.50/box of like 4 cups uncooked. Probably 14-15 cups for $6 & cooks in the microwave superfast. And it's more complex. But more importantly, it fills me up more than the white rices.

Cuz you're a gd rockstar, that's why Dan! Haha I like all the other rices, but I usually stick with brown. Bags of straight white are still cheapest, but I'll never bother with un-cooked rice again. Waaaay too much time/mess. When I look at what I spend on meat/fish vs the pennies I'd be pinching on rice, I just tweak one single meat purchase & boom the difference is made-up on the rice.

Haha it's just easiest for me. I take a box and empty it into a Tupper ware container and throw it in my toolbox at work. Grab Grab a half cup out at at a time and pop it in the microwave like 10 minutes before lunch. 1 box will usually last me all week at at work. I do like jasmine rice as well though. But that sh1t takes forever and a day to cook. And generally it's still a little crunchy when I eat it because I think it's done when it's not....ain't nobody got time for that

I don't see rice as messy at all. Stir for five, simmer for 20. Done. Easiest thing ever.

I don't have the patience anymore for brown though. If I were to eat brown (quote edit!) I'd be ok with it boxed. 45 min of simmering is absurd.

Yeah rice isn't messy. Especially if you have a rice cooker

Never used one.

Actually, never heard of 'em.

Hahaha sorry about that!

I haven't even thought of a rice crispy treat in years... Now I want one just upon simple mention.

Was never a fan of marshmallows on anything. I just recently found Fluff in my super market and I'm not all that interested in tasting it even though I've heard great things about it.

you kidding me?
what in hades have you heard about this junk, that leads you to believe there is any "good" to it?

I haven't checked the nutrition on it, but there is a workout related Facebook page where several people rant about It when discussing cheat meals.

#1 waste of time for bro-trainees:
create a Fb page dedicated to discussing cheat meals

99% of these clowns have no business thinking about cheating to begin with....

Monte you are thickening up fast! Very impressive so far Sir! I think DC would be good for you and your goals right now, and would be a great switch in intensity and volume from what you have been doing.

But fluff is yummy and like 30 cals for 2 tbsp. :)

:hitwithrock:
oh laawwd
you can justify any amount of garbage to yourself, if you try hard enough
and going further: all cals are not created equal...just sayin
i'll stick with my approach of always striving to consume the best & healthiest micro-constructed macronutrients that I see fit
to each their own

Fluff... like "Gubber" (I believe that is what the peanut butter / jam combo was called) is another thing we don't have in Canada. And for once, it's a good thing!

I have to totally agree not all calories are equal only from working with you for the last 3 weeks. My diet was fairly similar to our first 2 weeks, but my carb sources amd fat sources differed significantly. And the progress has differed (for the better even though I complain) significantly as well. Veins and curvature is much more pronounced this week even pre refeed. I'm aware some weight is water and glycogen but I'm convinced there's a good bit of fat as well.

I agree as well. My diet had played a monumental roll in where I am right now. Most of my advice came from the same guy. :-)

great synopsis
even tho you complain here & there, I am enjoying working with you, and anticipate big things -- and your complete satisfaction -- by the time we are finished

I may not feel this way tomorrow when the carb high subsides... Lmao.

Again I must agree. With out the help of the masses in here , which all have been fantastic, I'd prolly be banging my head off the wall wondering why I'm killing myself with minimal results.

Where did you get your template for DC?

I have a ton of stuff for DC I got from intensemuscle.com where Dante has his board. Did I send it to you before?

Don't think so. We talked about it but I never started DC so didn't have you send it....I think lol

Okay I just sent it to you should make planning your attack out pretty easy.

Montego1 If you can tell he how to email or send 3 large videos I can send you the DC training videos electronically.
I think I have this as well but not sure if I still do. I downloaded at one time but never watched it.
superbeast668 you can create a Dropbox account and upload the videos there then share it to him via email. It will send him a link so he can either watch or download the videos. That or you can just give him the ID and password you set up then he can log in and download them.

a lil postWO meal, coming ~45min following my postWO shake
shake ~600cals, 95g carbs/2g fat
meal ~465cals, 40g carbs/9g fat

I actually made this stroganoff up last night, used 12oz 96% beef and 10oz turkey breast....split it in thirds
ate a portion last night for dinner with a salad and 1/2c black beans
stuff is bomb, yum

Well today was back day...didn't have the best workout since my head just wasn't into it.

Worked up to
155x8 not counting bar weight on meadows rows
225x8 on cable rows with single handles
110x8 One handed cybex close grip pulldown (holding the machine not the handle)
Two sets of rack chins to failure

One week of MD left but I might just cut it short and move on to DC. Has been a good run though.

Personally I buy my basmati 25 lbs at a time.

What I'd give for the space to put a deep freezer & a walk-in cupboard - guy I work with raises grass-fed steers. Oh how I wish I wasn't at the grocery store every wk, paying non-bulk prices!

Yeah have contemplated the side of beef purchase myself. However for me I am a little more selective in the cuts so it isn't always as good a deal.

Monte some big boy weight being pulled around yesterday. So you are thinking of going to DC early eh... It is definitely a fun protocol!!!!

Yeah I've went through eleven weeks on MD. Figured I would just move on since this last week I did was seemingly a deload type week.

Taking the weekend off then it's DC time.

Are we handing out the DC template?

:D

I'll post up what exercises I'm pairing up. Still haven't totally decided yet.
