Damn. Where did the meat come from?
 
Very very mad right now......a few days ago I went and bought about fifteen lbs of sirloin. Cut it all up into 8 and 10oz portions trimming the fat and gristle off the sides.

Well I'll tell you these are the WORST steaks I have ever bought. Tons of gristle in the meat. I got them for 2.50 a lb so it was a good deal but Jesus Christ! Not only is it killing my actual protein content on weight, I'm having a tough time not just throwing all this crap out since its so annoying to eat.

Bulking Problems. :(

Also. I've been having a CRAZY craving for frozen yogurt lately. The damn yogurt so being right next to the gym doesn't help :/

Couple hours post gym. I've lost quite a bit of definition but the legs are definitely filling out. Still lots of vascularity mixed in there.

Didn't know you were a Trivium guy, Snags - I never really followed them, but they headlined the Devil Driver show I went to recently & after DD killed it we figured we might as well hang around for Trivium. Gotta say, they got after it pretty hard. Great show.

I think they changed a lot since their first album. Which was my favorite it all. Not saying anything bad just think they took their music in a different direction.
 
I'd say completely based on the stuff my buddy used to play; he was a big fan early on. They've evolved quite a bit, for better or worse.

yeah I wouldn't say I'm a Trivium guy, I just like all kinds of different music, by a lot of different artists
 
Leeeeegs. Kind of a crazy session today......after my first two exercises I had to leave for a little over an hour to meet up with my wife but I went back to finish up. Stimul8 still had me flying high though but i could feel the fatigue from stopping earlier set in.

Legs – 13 sets week 10:
Lying leg curls – 2-3 warm up sets. 2 sets of 10 hard reps. Nothing fancy, just grind them out with perfect form. For your 3rd set I want 10 reps, drop the weight and do 8 more, then leave the weight the same and do 25 partials out of the bottom. 3 total work sets.

Barbell Squats– 2-3 warm up sets of 10 reps. This is just like last week, but I want you to push the weight a bit more. Try to add weight to your hard sets of 6. Do sets of 6 all the way up to a weight you can barely get for 6 with good form. I am looking for 4 hard sets. So for example, you might do 135, 185, and 225 for easy sets of 10, then do 275 for 6, 315 for 6, 365 for 6, and then 405 for 6. That is an example of how this should look. Get down to parallel on these.
In between your sets of 6, I want you to do what you did last week to loosen up your hip flexors and get them firing. Do a split squat (this is where you put one foot on a bench and lunge down with the other leg). These split squats should be very easy. Just 5 reps on each leg (with bodyweight only). You will feel better driving out of the bottom of your squats, as your hips will be looser and not pulling on your spine so much. This is the same thing you did last week for hip flexors, so hopefully you noticed you were stronger and more stable at the deep squat position. 4 total work sets.

This is where I left and came back.

Hack squat - Do 2 light sets of 6 reps as a knee warm-up. I want one hard drop set here. Use a weight that is a tough 10 reps, and after your 10, drop the weight and do another 8 reps. Finally, lower your feet on the platform some and pump out 20 reps for teardrop. 1 total work set.
315x10 drop 225x8 225x20 (partial reps with feet low hitting the teardrop......PAIN!)

Smith machine split squats/lunges – Do one leg at a time. Crank 12 reps on one leg, then do 12 on the other. I want 2 sets total, with only a 30-second rest between the two sets. 2 total work sets.

Dumbbell stiff legged deadlifts – Do 3 heavy sets of 8 on these. Keep a little bend in your knees. 3 total work sets.

Threw in some extra lat work then called it a day.

Definitely like the program yeah. The only thing I see causing a problem in the future with his other programs that I have saved are the addition of chains. My gym doesn't have chains :(

Other then that, yes I do plan on using his training methods more.

It's not a big issue, as long as you have access to a good set of bands. Any chain work can be substituted with "reverse" bands for a similar effect (load increases during concentric/decreases during eccentric), if set up properly.
 
Nice work and way to make it back in to finish. Legs are looking thickish!

Yeah.....still gotta get a set of md bands. Wonder if there are any on craigslist :)
 
Thanks buddy. Legs were like "Wtf......why are we doing stuff again?" Some slight DOMS today but nothing crazy

Weighed in at 218 this morning. Filling back out. Not totally clean but still pretty solid for two and a half weeks and 14lbs.

Definitely bigger. Gonna be getting fun here in another week or so. Took another test day today. Did chest yesterday and nothing spectacular happend but had a good session. Fun fun.
