late picture of breakfast this morning..
just threw something together quick

3 egg whites + 1 whole egg
2oz roast beef
2 slices cracked wheat toasted w/ 1 TBS natty pb
30g protein shake (peanut butter/choco flav) with 40g rice krispies (ie 1.25 servings)
small amount of almond milk + water
~800cals
 
Little back training today. Nothing crazy again just getting the blood flowing. Trying to get in a De-load type week I guess.

Some reverse grip bb rows. I'm pretty upright on purpose. Targeting the upper back some here.

mmm fresh dill w/peppers, nice!
sometimes I throw some mustard in it, or honey mustard if I have on hand..
yes switching up flavoring is always helpful with that stuff, esp the chunk light (bleh)

Gonna be rocking a can of tuna with some salsa little later my self. :-D I haven't had tuna in 2 weeks I'm kinda happy about it.

You know things have been interesting when someone says they are excited to be adding canned tuna back into the diet. LOL!

Funny when i was younger I loved canned tuna, I would pop the top on a can strain about 2/3 of the water then eat it right out of the can. Now I have to add things to it to really enjoy it. I have found blackening season goes really well with it too. Couple cans in a microwave safe bowl with some blackened seasoning and lemon juice and it is a really nice change from straight out of the can.

Dude that sounds fantastic. I use lemon pepper with a shot of evoo often but it's not in the cards today.

Hopefully the extra focus on back pays off.

I've been using a cybex lat pulldown machine that has one cable attachment on each side (they are fixed out wider then shoulder width) lately. Doing one side at a time and I've really been able to feel the lat contract where it ties in around the lower back/oblique. I tried that on the regular pulldown cables before and couldn't feel it like this so I might have found a winner.

On a side note. Last week I started my glutamine (sd) a week early :) started feeling it about five days in when the pumps ramped up. Started Mecha today. Epic gains incoming.

You know, I always wondered how Metallica would have fared with Dave still in the band. He is, in my opinion, a superior guitar player in comparison to Kirk. Too bad he couldn't get his shït straight. OG Megadeth was pretty good stuff though. Holy Wars is an amazing track.

Metallica would have released a lot better CDs recently I'd imagine. New megadeath is pretty killer.

Agree here as well. Stopped listening to them after high school really.

yeah I like lunges, and do my share of both BB and DB...no walking lunges anymore since I don't have the room
but - never really got into the reverse motion, so I did them rarely -- that may change
I need to shake some things up, may try these for awhile

If you want to really shake things up, try overhead lunges. They suck horribly but involve a lot of core stability, balance, and mobility. Definitely fun to accomplish.

Shaking things up is huge. Even small adjustments can lead to progression.

Isn't this the normal way to do it? I almost never get through my whole body in one session. Normally upper and pubes then lower body later. Funny that we hit the pubes with upper though isn't it. I guess so it all looks uniform in the topless shots...

Monte, sounds like you have a winner with the 1 arm lat pull down machine you are working on. Definitely benefiting from them.

yeah, guess I never thought about it that way
I always hit pubes with upper cuz it splits it up pretty evenly...I mean, I could dedicate a day to each individual leg, them things are so unruly .. hate shaving them things, but love it when I'm all smooth and silky :D

Yeah if only it would stop growing back... Been eyeballing that NoNo thing for a bit but never talked to anyone who used one. If that crap actually works as it says it does I would use it, but I have a feeling it is probably nothing but a trimmer with no guard.
