7/7/11 - Chest

Incline Bench Press: 135x15/185x12/225x10/245x8/255x5/265x3/225x10/185x12
Bench Press: 225x10/245x9/275x5/225x10/225x9/185x12
Decline DB Bench Press: 95's x 7 / 85's x 9 / 85's x 9

That's off the top of my head without my notebook; I just can't remember if I did a 4th set of decline or not lol.

It was a good workout; chest was pumped, but I still just feel very apathetic toward the workouts.

Your a bench pressing monster!

Haha, thanks, bud.

I still wrestle with the fact I was able to bench 345 for reps this summer and now it's down significantly. Granted, I lead with incline, now, and it's also because of my back being slightly imbalanced that my presses suffer.

345 is amazing!

If I ever get to 315 for 1 rep I'll be happy lol

lol I was also pushing 240 on the scale at that time though, too, so it's all about strength relative to weight/body size. Problem is I'm the same weight now and not as strong lol

you got the right idea with that bro. I frequently tell people who ask how to get monster bench numbers to quit doing flat bench for a good month or two, and do nothing but inclines, then come back to flat and you'd be blown away.

Another is I tell people to drop barbell for a month or two and do nothing but DB's, flat DB, incline DB, personally not a fan of decline anything, so just flat and incline, lol. Then come back to barbell.

It's funny cuz it's a fine line, it is true that the best way to get numbers up on lifts is to do that actual lift, like squats for instance, the best way to get your squat up is to....squat! But on the flip side, you keep doing the same damn lift time and time again and eventually it starts to make it go DOWN instead.

I hope training is going good:D

Thanks, bro. It's going as good as it can without the motivation of stimulants or knowing that it's making an impact on my physical appearance...lol.

I had a good back day on Saturday; took yesterday off and am probably gonna hit delts/traps tonight and maybe do some leg work, too. I'll post up the numbers at some point lol.

Sick workouts!

Hows the Titanium and Adamantium treating ya?

I like the Titanium much more than I thought I would, to be honest. Very effective in doing what it does. I'm only taking the Adamantium pre-workout, so it'll outlast the Titanium by a bit since I'm lifting about every other day now instead of 5-6 days/week, how I normally would. I've been going with 1.5-2 scoops of Adamantium pre-workout and really like it. I think it definitely could be a staplesque stupplement as of now in the pre-workout field while users are on stimulant breaks or for those who are sensitive to it and training later at night. What would really seal it for me is something added in there for a bit more focus.

Nice!

I never tried the other day dosing, but love the libido effects I go on everyday dosing :D

There has been thought to maybe adding something to the formula, but nothing with stims, just to improve recovery.

Normally when I run DAA, I run it daily, but since it's in the pre-workout product, I don't want to waste it on non-workout days lol.

I'd be very interested in adding something to Adamantium, but I'd love to see something more related to focus than recovery :yup:

I had taken the whole week off after Monday's workout and just didn't have the motivation to get back in there. I'm back on track, now, though to hit it 5 days a week and I'm going back to my style of Max-OT training for a week and then back to high intensity circuits the other week.

Tomorrow is legs.

Dang you have been training your butt off haven't you. Great job so far. Heck I even started some new things also. Keep up the great work.

Dang dude, u throwin around some serious weight on those db hammers! Nice workout!

Haha, thanks, bro. I'm not quite as strong as I was before I left for Hawaii and took those 2 weeks off, but I'm trying to catch back up. I figure if I can't get the composition results that I want, I'm gonna get back into Max-OT pretty heavily to get my strength through the roof.

Tryin my hardest, for sure. I never had anything come up that really kept me out of the gym aside from minor injuries here and there, so dealing with the mental aspect of wanting to lift despite the dysfunctional thyroid is hard, but I think I've snapped out of it, now. Thanks for dropping in :)

Hey man, just read up on your log and your doing solid work. Just lookin' at your numbers from page to to now (a month) you have made killer strength gains across the boards. Very nice! Keep up the good work. Don't let the whole vaca in HI get you down, just remember your back now and none of that matters. Hope everything with your thyroid is going the way you want it to. Just rely on God and he will give you the strength you need. Keep at it man!

Thanks for taking the time to read and to comment -- I appreciate it.

Vacation definitely didn't get me down, haha. Taking the two weeks off and not eating very much definitely ate up some of my strength, though. I've got another appointment with a new doctor in town on Friday and hopefully he'll be able to shed some light on the thyroid situation for me. It's the doctor my gym-owner uses and has him on TRT. He's just an internalist, but when I asked his office they said he'd done work with thyroids before, so hopefully he'll know his stuff.

It's just weird as all can be to see my weight stuck at this point and not budge (other than up if I'm not careful lol). On the bright side, I finally know that it's not my fault lol. I think back of all the years I'd beat myself up over not losing and that it must have been for having an extra sandwich or something stupid like that.

I'm definitely praying a lot about it and I know that there's a reason for this; even if it's just to remind me that earthly things and this earthly body aren't nearly as important as making sure I'm living a Godly life. I'll be the first to admit that I haven't been prioritizing that correctly. Oh well, here's to hoping God has a cure in my near future :)

No prob I like reading up on some of these logs. I have been off of the forum for quite a while and just popped back on to check some stuff out, and noticed this thread. I know how you feel, I think we all take those vacations/breaks and then lose. Personally I am trying to transition from a big cut ( I went from 192-173 over a few months) and now trying to gain back to around 200. It felt for months like I was never gona gain again like I used to. But you just keep pushing and don't worry, trust that God will get you through everything. The peace of mind is awesome.

Goodluck at the doc! hopefully he will be able to help you, and find a way to over come your thyroid issues. I know it'll work out for you in time man. We all get distracted from Him, and we can all do better all the time. As long as your trying to improve everyday, I believe he is happy with our efforts.

I'll try to keep checking back in to see your progress, keep hitting it!

This was my final day of Titanium. I'll be writing up my final review right now and it'll be Post #2 on Page 1.

7-21-11 Final Review:

Yesterday was my last day of Titanium. I still have a bit of Adamantium left that I will continue using pre-workout since I'm still going without any stimulants. I will be ending my log now, though, as most of the excitement has taken its course :)

This is a very solid stack and I'd highly recommend it. Around 10-14 days in, I started noticing some minor acne popping up on my back and shoulders, which is not something that usually happens to me. That was a good sign of what was going on. For the first 3 weeks of this run, my libido was significantly raised and it's returned to about normal levels the past week.

I attribute a lot of the effects outside of libido to the Titanium, because when using solely DAA, the only thing I seem to notice is the huge surge in sex drive.

I can't comment too much on strength gains for 2 reasons: 1) I had just taken 2 weeks off entirely when I went to Hawaii, so my strength tanked pretty hard and 2) I normally don't really plateau and can make small strength gains on a weekly basis across the board even without any supplements (outside of the staples).

I also can't comment on any visual effects, unfortunately. With my thyroid issue being what it is, it doesn't matter what I eat or how much -- I just stick in one spot.

Adamantium is a great pre-workout and for a non-stim route, I'd certainly recommend it. The thing that I'd love to have in there is something for more focus outside of the tyrosine.

For the cost, I'd definitely recommend Titanium. It does its job well.

A big thank you is in order for Athletix and my man JD for setting me up with this log. This will likely be my last sponsored log for some time (unless it's something really special). Until I get my thyroid issues sorted the rest of the way, I'll pretty much just coast on supplements and whenever it's fixed, I will be cutting hardcore and you can rest assured I'll have a photo log running.

Thanks for taking the time to log for us and leaving a final review, Athletix and I very much appreciate it:)

Very happy you enjoyed the stack! Everyone seems to love Titanium, the new XL at 4 caps will be a killer!

Definitely a solid product to have around and I'm definitely interested in what it could do at double the dosage. You guys have some nice stuff in the works ;)
