Is this like a pomade? Do you have to style it a particular way with a comb? Or messy with your fingers? And how often do you get a trim?

From experience, who gives and understands men's hair cuts better? Male or Female?

++++ Sorry, one more question.

How are highlights and hair dying received nowadays? Anyone getting this service?

I am pretty sure they classify it a molding creme.

I dont use a comb at all, I take a decent finger amount, rub it into my hands then spread throughout hair.

A quick google to show you my hair style, and this is the closest I can find:

My hair is much darker, maybe a little shorter, and definitely not as perfectly styled.

After rubbing it through my hair, I literally just move the hair with my hands the way I want it to. The hold is pretty good, and it doesnt give that shiney greasy look, rather it has that matte clean look, which I prefer.

As for how often I get a cut, sometimes its every 2-3 weeks, others I will wait a month. Depends on how tolerant I am of it growing longer.

-I have never done highlighting.
-I generally receive haircuts from women, but it is more an experience thing as opposed to male/female. I have received good haircuts from both sexes

Thanks! Question then: How long are your side burns and do you do facial hair?

Thanks! Question then: How long are your side burns and do you do facial hair?

I actually keep my side burns pretty minimal, however after seeing that picture and how the side burns work pretty well with the hairstyle, I might give them a try.

Facial hair - Yes. Unfortuantely I am a hairy man, chest/legs/face..., so unless I would want to shave daily, I am only clean shaven maybe twice a week. I am actually considering, and at the recommendation of my girlfriend, to just start using a beard trimmer and keeping it really short, as I am often told the 5 o clock shadow is my "look."

So is the top of your hair long enough to spike up?

yea they go in with scissors and texturize it all so it looks messed up without any product, because i have blonde hair. and then ill spike up either just front or the whole thing like a fohawk type of deal. i just use a little bit of coconut oil when i wanna style it, non toxic no chemicals just nature. too many bald people walking around these days as evidence of using traditional shampoo and hair products.

Male or female hair stylist?

Disposable Schick 3x a week. :fing02:

Buzz 3 on the sides/back. Top cut choppy with scissors about a knuckle and a half long. I do it myself about every 2-3 weeks and it turns out just how I want it every time. Or rather, I don't really care too much as long as it feels cooler in the summer time. Thick hair doth suck!

Gel - Got2Be spiked up. About a quarter-sized dollup on the palm, rubbed and rubbed in. Headbang for about 5 seconds. Voila! Spiked!! On a good day, I'm more or less 6'7" between hair and shiznit-kicker boots on. :D

Facial hair - lambchops, about #2 on the clips. No 'stache. Soulpatch to chin goatee, about 7" long, usually 'stroked' to a point.

I aspire to do this someday, but know I'd get fired for it...

Got2Be is where its at.

Stuff holds like no other

it sure does but take a look at the list of ingredients, you really want all those chemicals and alcohols in your hair/covering your scalp almost 24/7?

i used it for 2-3 years and stopped because there is no need. i get my hair cut perfectly so its pretty much already styled when i get out of the shower. sometimes i use a little coconut oil if i wanna mess it up extra

My hair cut is a 1, all around the entire head, and I wear a goatee....of course this short look was only recently adopted maybe a month and a half ago, but its the best for me. I either have to have long shaggy hair, or buzzed. I was doing a 2 on top 1 on sides, but eh.

It means no gel, no comb, no dandruff, very cool in the summer(in fact I STILL wear a beanie atm)

Static X!

lol got2be....

Got2be is like a liquid compared to Ice Spiker by Joico. This stuff actually feels like glue for your hair.

Got 2 Be Glued. Have a small tube of it that I bust out for Halloween to really stand it up. It's a bit of a bish to wash out though. Brake cleaner works, though.

lol

I make sure they scissor cut everything. I like to see them work and get my monies worth for it. I could buzz it with clippers myself...which I'm currently doing, actually. I had a somewhat trendy haircut for about 1.5yrs and just got kind of sick of it. Looked good, but I get bored easily. I'm surprised I didn't change it sooner. I've had long hair, short hair, trendy hair, buzzed hair...pretty much everything. I just do whatever now. Sometimes I'll even go into the salon and tell the wench to have fun and surprise me. I don't give a crap. I like trying different looks.

1 on the sides
Clean the edges
Then Fo-hawk the top.

I then look like this, just shorter on top:

Just to let you know, It's my New Fcking Hair Cut that gets me SWOLE. Not lifting weights.

Big sleazy I can't believe you just tainted my beautiful web site with a picture of that retard. He has the IQ of my pubic hair.

LOL i never watched the show but i recently saw one episode. the one girl was like "omg there are steroid gorillas all over the beach!!" and got the other retard girl to go looking for "gorillas". dudes from the house were yelling "lean is in, big is out, brah!!"

Lol, watch the show, its a guilty pleasure.

Wow, can't believe so many guys are talking about hairstyles...

1/8" all around cut every two weeks on Thursday. I think that is a #1...anyways, its short. I would prefer no gard at all...but my wife and kids think I look too scary that way. Used to bic it.

No product, no combing, no nothing...there is not a better haircut for a man than this.
IMHO of course....

I wish I could pull it off, but I can't. :(

I agree. Soooo much cheaper and easier than going to a hair stylist.

Short textured spike,#1 faded in with #2. Go to a trustworthy barber, skip the run of the mill supercuts, great clips..etc. Those places are hit or miss. If you go in,and all of a sudden they get busy....they will chop the f@ck out of your hair just too hurry up and get another paying customer in the seat.

Either Bic'd or buzzed w/ no attachment. I used to give a damn about my hair but after a few years I feel much better without it!
