ted was a crappy movie

but mark wahlberg is one of the best actors out there....not just anyone could carry the rock's poor acting skills throughout the whole movie

How was it crappy? Do you lack a sense of humor?It was a comedy with a talking stuffed bear, the idea in itself sounds dumb but when I saw the movie I surprised how well it worked as the rediculous comedy it was.

He's a decent actor but IMO one of the best actors out there would constitute referencing actors on the level of Bill Murray, Christopher Walken, Daniel Day-Lewis, Benicio del toro, Johny Depp, Leo Decapario , Christian Bale, Gary Oldman... Just an example of some if the best actors out there IMO.

How did no one bring up The Departed?? He was nominated for an Oscar in that one. And he was great in the Fighter. Dudes a good actor. Pain and Gain looks awesome
 
He has a lot of talent, more so as a producer. At one point, most of the top rated shows on HBO were all being produced by his company. Not too shabby.
 
He is in alot of great movies but I think his acting is terrible. Every time he talks he just whines, you may not have realized before but now that's all you will hear. Him whining the whole movie.

Mark is a very hit or miss actor, especially in his middle years. I've seen a few no-name movies he's been in which have been nothing short of terrible. He single handedly ruined "Planet of the Apes." It might have been an ok movie had he not been in it. That said, as many mentioned, Shooter, The Departed, Pain and Gain, and The Other Guys were some movies where Mark played his role well.
 
I like him better as an underwear model....he was great in "fear"
 
Prob my favorite actor. I think I'm the only one who was totally lovin pain and gain ;)
 
Ted was one of the funniest movies iv ever seen. Right as I'm thinking they're running out of good movie ideas Ted comes out. Hope restored.
