PCT Day 17

Weight unknown

Off day. Finally get a night off work so I decided to take it off the gym as well. Really felt like going in but wanted the time with my family more. Diet will stay dialed in and hopefully I can rest up good to go in and set more PR's on legs tomorrow! I also just put in a week vacation for next week which surprisingly got approved so I'm super stoked for that sh1t! I'm now at the point where I have less then two weeks left of these supplements and I will be starting my Purus stack! I'm very hopeful for these products and can't wait to get them started. I'm going to throw a few reviews up tonight or tomorrow on both the cycle and the pct and will edit them into the first post on this log. Have an awesome Holiday bros!

My shoulders are wrecked so I know yesterdays workout really kicked my a$$!! Love that feeling!

Time off is just as important as time on.. and family comes first... my wife just confirmed that with me about 15 minutes ago :) I have a mini break planned for late next week even though I am in mid shread...

PCT Day 18

Weight unknown

Legs/cardio/abs. First things first, happy fourth to all! Well there's no stopping this sh1t! Nearly 3 weeks deep and there's no letting up! I feel as If I'm programmed I one up myself when I enter the gym. It's a scary feeling to know that not many can match your dedication, drive and will power. I feel I'm on a completely different level right now and my mind is set on raising the bar even further!

15 mins of weighted ab/oblique work

Tip of the day: Throw doubt out of the equation and the formula equals success.

Are you getting full ROM on your leg presses? I can't help but notice that the weight seems too high compared with your squats, which leads me to believe that you may not be going down far enough on the presses.

Yah I always wonder about that kind of thing too... I only leg press 700 at the very most for maybe 5 but squat around 400...some leg presses are easier than others though... depends on angle and resistance...drag on the sled etc...

Have you ever noticed how easy some of the newer pulley systems are, it's like they are around 1/3 of the weight.. all of a sudden I am doing 200 lbs tri-extensions ...

Most definitely bro! Very strict on form hence why a lot of my numbers are low because I refuse to do any lift with bad form. Something is up with my squats to be honest. I've always struggled with them and I don't think I push hard enough or allow myself to push hard. It is one of those lifts that I mentally mess myself up on. I will get it up no matter why though.

I have too been surprised with the weight I'm able to put up on leg press. I think I'm up about 75-100 pounds since pre cycle.

I do agree with you here DW, we have two leg presses at my gym and the one I use is a bit easier then the one I don't. Not sure If it is the angle or what, I just always stuck with the one I used first.

We have a cable cross machine at our gym with a pull down station on the outside. The difference in the pulley system is night and day from the inside cross to the outside pull down. I weigh a good 215 and I can hang on the pull down bar with all my weight at the 180lb mark with out any budging. I don't understand it lol.

Yah that's why it's so hard to relate to certain exercises if you aren't using the exact same apparatus... I look at the compound lifts mostly ascertain what is going on with a persons progress...

Pct Day 19

Weight 168 (+3.5)

Back/cardio. Overall workout was okay. Felt a bit drained today, my kids kept me up most of the day so I depended on a lot of stims to be able to make it to the gym. By my 6th set I crashed pretty bad but pushed through it. Weight is up which didn't surprise me as I felt like I was holding more water and fat today when I woke up. Will have to keep the carbs low the next few days to shed a bit of the unneeded weight.

I will add that the pump I got today was incredible! Arms felt like they were going to burst. Slinshot and agmatine make for one hell of a pump.

Workouts still looking solid bro! Still making those prs! Don't worry about the energy thing life happens especially with the kiddos : ) What separates us from the others - dedication; going in even when we have no fuel in the tank. No excuses! Play like a champion!

Definitely agree bro! What I love is that once I stepped on the treadmill my energy skyrocketed. I absolutely love doing cardio now where I used to dread it as if it was pulling teeth! Dedication is key brother, I love being in the gym even on a bad day.

Thanks guys, a little washed out in the abs but I'm trying hard to keep a REAL high protein diet to solidify the muscle and its spilling over a bit. Not an issue though because I know my body and I can dry it right up in just a day or two.

Be easy on that back bro! I'm going to have to swallow a shít ton of pride with my lifts. What's more effective light light weight being careful or sitting on the couch recovering? I think we both know ; )
