Log for Cutting (Using Bobo): Starting Tuesday, August 2

Guys -
I have decided to give Bobo's programs a try. I figure I have nothing
to lose but $ 300 and it's just money right ?
I will keep a detailed log here on anabolic minds with my comments and
vital statistics.
I received my program two days ago and it was very well done. I have
already asked about 20 questions and Bobo gets back to me quickly.
I am going away for a few days (until Monday). So I will put all my
measurements up then.
I hope I have as exciting results as others.......

It will be interesting to read, I am going to hire Bobo in August also for the cutting diet. I play semi-pro football and am hoping that the diet doesn't affect my energy to play. I play on the O-line, me 260 others 360 to 380. I watched a guy eat ten McDonalds double chesseburgers last away trip with a milkshake.

everyone's cutting?!
i want to read some more muscle building logs, once my knees feel better i'm gonna go for it with bobo.
but good luck, i am very interested to see how this turns out.

awesome, another bobo log. i like to read the reaction on leg day. :)
Im not too sore from bobos leg day yesterday. I kinda had to do some stuff out of order because of
the different stations were taken.

Bobo: I have 2 sn's cause one for work and one for home because my modem if messed up at home
so i had to create a new sn because i dont know the password or the password for that email address
so if you you see me in the Client area i just have 2sn's This and Buc4Life03. So i dont get banned! :)

First Day - August 2nd

Today is my first day.
As promised here are my statistics:
Weight: 207 lbs
Arms: R 41.5 cm L 40.5 cm
Chest: 109.5 cm
Waist: 94.5 cm
Thighs: R&L: 63.5 cm
I use cm for more precision.

Here are my goals:
Weight: 195 lbs
Arms: R 41.5 cm L 41.5 cm
Chest: 109.5 cm
Waist: 85 cm
Thighs: R&L: 63.5 cm

Basically, I would like to keep all the muscle I have and
lose about 15 lbs of fat over the eight weeks.

I have no digital camera so I took polariods.

Maybe I will post them too at some point.
I plan to update every few days.

Just wanted to give a quick update. Been on the diet for three days now.

I cant believe how much I am eating. Haven't been hungry at all yet.
We'll see the results when I get on the scale in a few days....

Yesterday was leg day.....
Very intense workout, really had to lighten the weights in order to finish the right amount of reps. My legs are already very sore. I expect not to be able to walk later on today. Very satisfied.......

Still right on track. Been following the diet extremely closely. It's not too bad

once you get used to it. Workouts have been going well also.
Will be weighing myself again on Sunday. Bobo has also promised me a tweak
for this weekend......

Going away for four days. Going to try to eat healthy. No way I

can stick to the strict diet. I am hoping to maintain where I am at right now.
Bobo has been quick to reply to my many questions for the most part.

8/14:
Weight: 204.5
Arms: R 41.5 cm L 41.5 cm
Chest: 110 cm
Waist: 91 cm
Legs: R 63 cm L 64 cm

I am curious why you can't stick to the diet when you go away.

How about the meals he has you guys eating and the time is takes to make them; are they pretty quick fixes?
I'm a slow eater as is, but here it goes. Breakfast always takes me about 1/2hr to prepare and eat--preparation being maybe 5-10 minutes, meal#2 is similar to eat but with no prep time. The rest are a breeze and I can suck them down quick unless I just get one of those days where I don't feel like eating and I have to force-feed. Overall, there is almost no prep time for "me".

Its easier for me to eat this than many things I've eaten before. But, a couple of them are very time-consuming for me.

It takes me 45 minutes (literally forcing it down my throat as quick as I can chew it and eating while I am cooking) to an hour to prepare and eat my first meal of the day. Everything else can be prepackaged in a cooler, but for me I would need a microwave to reheat some of the items. It would take some serious prep work to prepare 4 days worth of meal for me, and I don't think I can pre-prepare my first meal at all.

I agree. I may look silly with an insulated pack of food, but if I'm toward the end of a diet period, I don't want to drag it out any longer than it has to be, so I do what I have to do to stick with it so the diet lasts for fewer weeks.

same here, i pack food for days on end before going anywhere. even a little extra in case something goes awry and i need to cover more days.

Good comments guys.

I guess I could have packed the meals. They don't take me that long to prepare.
Maybe 1.5 hours a week and then 20 minutes the night before (I bring 3 meals with me
to work). I am at a training seminar and don't have access to a fridge. All of our meals
are prepared for us. I am just trying to eat healthy during these 4 days. It is an inconvenience
and I hope I don't mess up too bad here. The place is crawling with candy and ice cream.......

Back from my trip.

Updated stats as of 8/19/05:
Weight: 205.5 lbs
Arms: R & L 41.5 cm
Chest: 109 cm
Waist: 91 cm

Overall I didn't do too badly......
Now it's time to get serious again.

Didn't have much of a problem.

Pretty typical workout for me to be honest. I quite liked it!

Weight: 202.5 lbs (-4.5 lb)
Arms: R 41 cm L 41 cm (-0.5 cm R +0.5 cm L)
Chest: 110 cm (+0.5 cm)
Waist: 89.5 cm (-5 cm)

8/28: (from 8/2)

Weight: 201 lbs (-6lbs)
Arms: R & L 41 cm (-.5 cm)
Chest: 109 cm (-.5 cm)
Waist: 88 cm (-6.5 cm)

9/2: (change from 8/2)

Weight: 200.5 lbs (-6.5 lbs)
Arms: R&L 41 cm (-.5 cm)
Chest: 109 cm (-.5cm)
Waist: 87.5 cm (7 cm)

At the half way point of my program with Bobo.

So far, I am very happy with results.
I haven't lost as much weight as I would have liked so far
but hopefully that is because body recomposition is ocurring.
It seems like my original goals (lose about 10 cm from my waist
while not losing much or anything on arms/chest) are reachable
within the 2 month time frame.

How many inches is 10cm? I love these threads but that silly metric system. Or maybe I am just bad at math...

actually, the entire world has adapted to the metric system except for u.s., liberia, and myanmar(burma). just like english has become the international language, the metric system is becoming the international measurement system.

I like inches better (being from the US, it makes sense).

I just use CM because it's a smaller unit of measurement and
I get more precision that way.

Metric system
1km=1000m
1m=10cm
1cm=10mm
1ton=1000kg
1kg=1000g
1g=100mg

US system
1inch=?
1foot=?
1yard=?
1pound=?
1ounce=?
It is silly:rolleyes:

Just curious what supplements, if any you are taking along with the diet and cardio.

thanks, great progress. bobo seems to be a sure thing!

Protein Powder.

Bobo took the words right out of my mouth.....

Protein powder and vitamins, nothing exotic....
In terms of supplementation, I'm supplementing less on Bobo's diet
than I had been before and getting better results....
So I am saving some money on the supplementing side....
Yet another reason to go with Bobo....

Good stuff drew!

I really, really need to save my pennies for a little while after my extended vacation, in the New Year (if not earlier), Im going to give Bobo a try. The results I have been reading about are just incredible and easily worth the money.

9/17: (changes from 8/2)

Weight: 197.5 lbs (-9.5 lbs)
Arms: R 40.5 cm L 40 cm (-1 cm)
Chest: 109.5 cm (-0 cm)
Waist: 86 cm (-8.5 cm)

This is really frustrating. This has probably been my best week
in terms of following diet and workout/cardio and I actually gain .5 lb...
I don't understand...... Will try measurements again tomorrow I guess....

gaining muscle adds weight too bro. considering you dropped an additional 0.5cm of your waist this week......the scale is a bad judge for progress. sounds like you're doing awesome to me.

The only thing I can think of is that I got up a lot earlier

than I normally do today (for a Saturday).... I got up at 8 am
rather than around noon, that might make the difference because
normally I fast for four more hours. Will be able to sleep tomorrow
morning, will try measurements again.

9/18: (changes from 8/2)

Weight: 196.5 (-10.5 lbs)

Still kind of frustrated with this seeing as my diet was perfect
during the last week and I actually did a little extra cardio....

You are not supposed to do extra cardio. I don't want you doing extra cardio. The changes are supposed to be small and gradual. For the most part I WANT you to stall out once in a while. That way I know you are losing pure fat.

You are down almost 11lbs in 6 weeks. That exactly where I want you to be. New diet sent and NO EXTRA CARDIO!

Very nice progress :thumbsup:

Hey how about a "Bobo lottery", like $5-$10 to subscribe, winner gets a free month of Bobo? :D
