LiveToLift will be joining the ranks of the gods (Mdrol/Andromass cycle)

Good arm day today, only had one PR but arms seem to be my hardest to break those on anyway. Weight steady at 180 which is a total gain of about 12 lbs for the cycle so far. Details:

If you're getting a burn and going to failure with heavy weight, you'll get the stimulation you need for size. If you want a little extra motivation keep reminding yourself that you only get about 6-8 (I don't know how long your cycle is) days per body part on an oral cycle, so no sense taking your time. I remind myself of that to create more of a sense of urgency and it can usually get me from 6 reps up to 8 on the more painful sets (usually legs and arms).
 
Back day today, definitely realizing that going to the gym at six on a weekday is something I'm not going to be doing again... It was so packed it was hard to get a rhythm going but I managed to get a good workout in though. Had to skip deads as at this time at night the deadlift area turns into the fricking social gathering spot. Two guys did maybe three sets while hanging out during the hour I was there, so irritating. I wanted to try the lifting right when I get off work at about 8 am idea but was so drained when I left work that I may not get to try it out until my mind/body gets used to third shift. Strength was pretty decent today, it was kind of odd though I went in and didn't really pay attention to how much I was lifting on each workout just kind of kept going up until failure. I did have a noteable Lat pulldown PR though, I was able to hit 9 reps at 180 followed by 7 reps at 180 which is incredible for me as I think 1 set at 6-7 was my prior best. Did a lot of different row exercises: bent over, low etc. capped off with an upper back machine and pull ups.

Overall It is going to be hard to say goodbye to Mdrol, I have had a lot of mixed feelings about this cycle and kind of wish I would have ran just Mdrol or just AM to better judge what feelings, lethargy,strength etc can be attributed to which compound. Yet all in all the one thing that was constant was the incredible strength gains that have been present through out the run. Definitely wouldn't have minded popping up to 30mg to see how it would have treat me as sides seem to be irrelevant lately but dont think I'm going to push it.

True stacking does kind of take away from the solo experience. BUT!!! Sdrol is amazing haha! And you are running AndroMass solo now right? For a little while? I would see if you lose some weight. Then you know that sdrol gave you that weight gain. Also, I hear AM doesn't kick in till week 3-4 so it was good you added the sdrol to kick start some gains and move into a lighter compound (on the body anyway). Keep killing the PRs!

AMv3 kicks in a bit quicker, but, obviously, the methyl will kick in faster.
 
Yea I can tell already V3 will treat me better. The lethargic feeling has diminished quite a bit already.

Mdrol is HARSH lol. take with some transaderm next time :D That's what I'm going to do ;)

Good though, how you feeling size wise? Muscles still pumped?
 
Why do so many people think super drol causes bloat? It's a 5a reductase it is NOT wet. Your getting bloat by the amount of food you shove down your throat :) which is good on a bulk!
 
Mattrag I'm still running the Mdrol for another few days so I can say the v2 was causing most my lethargy. Swell as for the bloat my diet has not changed much from now and before maybe a few extra calories, water intake has gone up a lot though as I always feel thirsty.

Well the simplistic theory in that case would be that a side effect of superdrol is an increased appetite, and an increased appetites has a side of potential bloat.
Makes sense.

Ah. It was the andromass v2. Hehe. Enjoy the mdrol man... Sux when it's gone lol.

Bloat maybe. But the weight gain from the extra glycogen is pretty good. No way I gained 10lbs of bloat from just eating the same way. Granted the stomach was bloated. But my diet never wavered until I started bulking in the 2nd week of sdrol. But IMO the bloat made me stronger. Painful pumps in the gym that just aren't there anymore... Oh man.. Enjoy the cycle bro!!
 
I agree man like I said its been a love hate run so far, one day I feel like a monster the next I feel drained. Like I said before though I can deny the gains I've had. Setting at least 1 pr everyday gym day for three weeks is unheard of for me. Having a hard time cutting Mdrol out but finishing week four so it's time...

It the worst, I try to go at around 10am now just because of the rushes in the morning and night, I can do that though cause I work night. Its retarded after new years, the things I see people doing, I want to literally scream at them. Yesterday there was a guy inbetween the cables just doing push ups, for like 15 minutes, inbetween the hardest equipment to get on, I swear I will kill him next time lmao

I'm down! It is crazy when you get to a point in the cycle where you are just plain ready to crush pct! With the motivational log that Rick has on his pct I'm so looking forward to trying to continue PR's. Everyday of studying on Osta has me an inch closer to putting in the order to try it out! Then again Rick is a freak of nature and noone should expect to be such a beast anyway.... :sly:
 
Shoulders today, had to really switch up my routine as mentioned earlier the gym was way to fing packed to get on the smith or squat rack to do military press. Used machine workouts for the press and did some DB presses to try and substitute. Threw in a good tricep burn while waiting on various machines and had to practically kick myself out of the gym after an hour 15. Had a really good pump and looked hella ripped today. Love the size I've packed on so far and think that when its all said and done I've probably put on about 6-7 lbs that is worth keeping. Weight was down to 177 today but I think the added weight wasn't worth having anyway. My goal for the rest of this run and by the end of pct is to hover around 175 which would be a gain of about 6.5 lbs and I think my bf % at that weight would be about the same as when I started. No real PR's today as most the stuff I did were different workouts then normal but I did feel strong as hell right up until the last set.
 
Alright day one of just AM is today, woke up with a terrible head cold and laid around all day as I felt so tired. Next gym day won't be til Friday due to being sick and having to work twelves.

Very sorry for the lack of updates... Fighting a terrible sinus infection or something, haven't been this sick in years. Not to mention been on twelve hour shifts at work and adjusting to the switch to thirds. No gym for third day by choice as I always have a miserable workout when I'm sick. Will say that since dropping Mdrol I've slimmed slightly and vascularity has gone up quite noticeably, not sure if that is typical of am or not. Hopefully hitting the gym tomorrow and will update.
 
Oh one thing I forgot to mention was how shutdown I've been feeling. My libido has been tanked which is normal but something I'm noticing more significant in this cycle is testicular shrinkage. It is honestly very odd feeling and way worse then in my last cycle. Strange... As it seems to have gotten worse since I dropped Mdrol which makes no sense to me!

On the bright Side visually it seems I haven't really lost muscle size or fullness which feels awesome! The alpha male feeling has definitely finished though, interested to weigh in tomorrow if I can make it to the gym.

Alright my last workout day on Mdrol I think I weighed in at 178, anyone wanna take a shot at what the weight was today 4 days off Mdrol?

174. I dropped around 3-4 lbs after losing mdrol while still increasing my cals... Sad sad week.

That's normal and nothing to worry about. 3-4 lb loss of water coming off is just part of the deal

OK was hoping to get these responses! 177.5 after 3 days out of gym and 4 days off mdrol, mind you I also dropped creatine out until pct too about a week ago! Incredible, think I may have been underestimating the AM guys. I was thinking that I would have been 175 tops.

So like stated before I started a 5X5 routine today and it felt damn good I may say! So nice to go in and try something new after doing the same routine for so long. I found this layout from BB-DOTCOM and it is very intriguing, I was hella sore from the workout and see good things coming. Was a very new process to me so it was a bit scattered and weight was low but overall was very happy with the pump.

Chin ups
5X5 BW

Calf raises
5X5 heaviest set being 230

Military press (free weight)
5X5 heaviest weight being 145

Side lateral raises
5x5 heaviest at 35 DB

Close grip bench press
5x5 heaviest being 135 which i believe is a PR for me

Didn't realize how long this workout would take so I went in at 6 but ended up cutting the workout short because the gym closed at 7, would have added rear delt rows had I had a little longer but still had a very good work out.

A little review of just AM or what has changed since dropping Mdrol anyway. As mentioned prior for some reason my shut down hit a peak the last few days which was surprising as mdrol should be way more suppresive then AM right? Weight has barely changed :-) which is exciting! Pump isn't as full feeling or looking :-(. Still getting occasional short length headaches which I thought was just from the mdrol. Alpha male feeling isn't nearly as strong although after about 20 minutes in the gym I started to feel pretty damn huge. Joints are shot to he!! and by the time I get home from work I get very weird muscle cramps and literally almost throw me off the coach in pain. Mainly in my feet but actually had one in my groin this morning which is very freaking odd! Stomach and body feels tighter even with very little diet change... Vascularity has gone up tremendously which was probably one of the best changes I noticed.
 
Hell ya man, I don't care what anyone says I feel it did to me too man. I know my body and there was a big increase in the stomach bloat from Hdrol to Mdrol, everyone reacts differently whether it is a "dry" compound or not!

I donno what but 1 week after dropping mdrol I got some abs back and now 1 week into pct I am damn back to pre cycle bf level look ;)
 
Second day of 5X5 training today. Really like doing this type of workout so far. Energy was good but once again was lacking that pumped up feel and look in my muscles :-(. Strength was also down a bit from last week which was a bit discouraging. Missing these things from the mdrol for sure. Vascularity continues to increase which kind of acts as a good replacement though. Seeing even more new veins popping out in my chest and arms today. Weight was right at 176.5. Let me mention I am going by a routine that I found online for the 5x5 but have made some alterations to either add a bit more substance or to make it accomadate availability on machines and equipment. Details:

Squats
5x5 heaviest at 225

Shrugs
5x5 heaviest at 275

Pull ups
5x5 Last 2 sets at +10 lbs

Weighted dips (with concentration on chest, pause and flex at peak)
5x5 last 2 at +25

Chest Fly's
5x5 heaviest set at 50lb db's

Leg extension's
5x5 heaviest at 160 (PR)

Really good substance in today's workout. Added the fly's to get a little more pump on chest and substituted the Leg extension's for leg curls as I believe its a much better pump for me. Have a surprise that I will be adding into my routine...................Cardio day's :shocked1: I have literally never tried adding cardio into my weekly plans so this should be very interesting! I'm actually a bit excited for it though, sick of carrying a bit of a pouch on my lower ab area and think it will help tighten me up and add that shredded cut I've never really concentrated on. Up until now I was stuck in the mind set that I just need to get fing huge! Now that I have hit my goal I set for myself a while back I'm going to go ahead and consider this last year and a half a complete success and re-evaluate my personal concerns and goals. While adding cardio I will also be adding more food in my diet, in hopes that I can absorb more protein while burning off the bad stuff that comes with it. As of now I'm going to plan on doing 4 day's of strength training a week with 2 days of cardio and ab work. Tomorrow will be day one of cardio and I will update on how it goes, will be interesting as I am completely out of shape when it comes to this type of fitness!

Yep eight lbs, was at +12 for a couple of days but it was at my worst shape I have been in ever so I cut diet down for a few days and fell down to a clean 178. If I can hold at 175 I will be extremely happy!
