Let's Discuss Some Trends..

How all African American's try to act all 'hood' and compare themselves to the Italian Mafia.

I find this very annoying.

broad, sweeping, inaccurate generalizations that have transparent racist undertones.

How about regular clothes not plastered with the logo of something you are not a part of, don't play for, had no part in the wins/losses of, etc.?

Worst part is that I am treated rudely, like a leper, because I could not care less about the Buckeyes. Great...college football team...sure, I can watch a few plays or a game and enjoy it fine...ok, time to move on with my life and do something.

I live with a die heart OSU fan. Im not allowed to talk about my favorite school (UK) because he will flip a lid and talk crap about how i just like the SEC because blah blah blah. Its pretty hilarious though, especially when i told him that UK beat LSU this year in football and OSU didnt. He wanted to stab me.

All of this is true.. But the sizeable group of individuals he is talking about (who do not fit into a general category) is pretty obvious.. I'd be surprised if anybody who read Reaper's claim said that they didn't know who/what he was talking about -- generalizations and undertones aside.

and so I agree, the glamorizing of tough "gangster" life within the last couple years is annoying, disturbing, and extremely ridiculous ESPECIALLY among people who have never experienced any kind of hardship in their lives..

I'll never be able bring myself to accept thugs as "cool" like they're so often portrayed..

Correct. For anyone else who needs additional information please refer back to your 'MTV music video by 50 Cent: Poppin' Them Thangs.'

I've never seen a more ridiculous music video.

My statement came out wrong and needs to be condensed, but I think people understand what I mean.

yeah, believe me, i was not defending those types, i am far from fitting that description, and so are the people i associate myself with. the fact that there is an entire culture that glorifies going against social norms and mores is pretty much a plague on our society. i just happen to know a lot of black people that don't act that way, that's all i meant about it. it was meant mostly in jest anyways, believe me, i am not one to endorse race card pulling

you know whats funny about all this.. as i read all the complaints about ugg boats and what not i get to the bottom of the page to go to page 2 and there is an add for ugg brand shoes. Seemed slightly ironic to advertise such a disdained product here. hrmm...

Then thank god I don't have to see those damn google ads anymore :D

How's this for a scenario....

You bite the bullet and pick up a chick wearing UGG boots and massive sunglasses. You go to your place and she says "Mind if I slip into something more comfortable?"

So she yanks off her stinky boots, waves her green fume oozing toe goblins around, opens her huge fake-ass designer bag, and pulls out some....CROCS!!!

only way she's getting away with that is if she lets you take her up the duff.

haha wow you are absolutely right..

The sunglasses are hiliarious -- ever notice they wear them when its cloudy or raining out as well? And you can't even tell if a girl has a nice face or not if she has those goofball glasses on since they literally take up half of your head..

And the giant bags (agreed, 90% of which are absolutely fake) .. it's like, my god, what could you need a bag that big for? what the fvck kind of things are you carrying around in there? maybe 2 pairs of giant clown sunglasses and a back-up alternate color NF vest? an equally fake designer hand purse? perhaps some gold bond for your uggs? Wow, just outrageous.

These things are just rampant.. I didn't know it was all over the US either but geez.. its an epidemic

What about those maturnity looking shirts on girls who aren't pregnant? Or fvcking chain wallets, worn mostly by people who look like they don't have a penny to their name, who the fvck would try to steal their wallet. Those were cool to wear when I was in sixth grade, and I'm 26 now. So thats what like 15 years or so. Or these morons who can't be detached from their mp3 players. They just wear them 24/7.

so I recently bought a pair of UGG slippers, and they are extremely comfortable, and keep my feet quite warm in the cold. I am very pleased with this purchase and now no longer take issue with girls wearing UGGs.

Commence with the gay jokes :FUfinger:

you can't talk to me like that mullet...you're just some random grey guy and i am now a gold member! :bow28::rofl:

bumped

I can't stand seeing hoodies under a blazer. So ghei and trendy. I guess some people don't mind dressing like a crackhead.
