Day 46
I had to drop someone off at the airport this morning on short notice. This cut into my gym time but I still got in a good chest and tri workout. I either dropped , rearranged, or sped up my lifts to put together what felt like a very effective routine. I started out by shortening the rest time with flat and incline BB bench. I kept a max of a minute between sets and surprisingly continued to show progress in strength as well as endurance. The first set of flat bench had an additional rep, the second matched last weeks reps +10lbs, and the final 3 remained the same (weight and reps) as last week. I was happy with my performance especially with rest time cut in half. Incline bench was strarted with last week's heaviest weight plus a rep which was maintained until losing a rep on the final set. I then powered through incline DB flys with 30 second rest intervals and jumped right into cable crossovers with the same short rest. Without much time left I made quick work of my triceps by supersetting heavy v-bar pulldowns, light rope pulldowns, kickbacks, and dips. I'm not used to working at such a fast pace, but I loved it, and it had my chest and tris blown up like balloons when finished.
I weighed exactly 198lbs this morning. That's up another pound and +6lbs overall. I'm not very confident that the increase will stick if I weigh in tomorrow since I showed a "false" weight gain after last Sunday's day off. After everything I've been through (healthwise) the last couple years I'm now more in tune with how my body reacts to things such as diet and supplementation than I ever have been. Weight gain or not, my muscles fullness/density looks to be improving and any additional body fat seems to be nonexistent. I continue to be thoroughly impressed by the combination of Compound20/Erase Pro when it comes to promoting positve changes in body composition. I will definitely be using them again, both stacked and solo.
