just have a couple of questions about l-dopa

i've been having some intense anxiety and sometimes panic attacks lately and it popped into my head that L-dopa could possibly be able to help me with these issues thanks to dopamine. i did a bit of searching around and apparently it can do the opposite of what i'm thinking and cause MORE anxiety.

has anyone experienced anything like that?
this is what one i'd be usin if it makes any difference Invalid Link Removed

also i'd be using it with DAA, is it best used at 2 caps 5 days on 2 days off?

Probably depends on what is causing your anxiety. You could maybe try some Lithium Orotate like 10mgs it could possibly help with anxiety. Plus I recently read a study that it may have an Anabolic effect. Bonus!

If your anxiety/panic attacks are due to an overabundance of norepinephrine, you may not want to take l-dopa.

Lithium is a potent GSK3 inhibitor, which can indirectly increase anabolism through a few pathways, but I wouldn't take Li without a prescription. That stuff can be hazardous.

i take powerFULL b4 bed, no issues at all. Ive also take NOW L-dopa b4 bed, no issues. And i am an insominiac, ( i take 3 meds from a sleep specialist)

I agree, L-DOPA is great for deep sleep.

If you already have anxiety, most definitely.

For someone who doesnt have anxiety like myself I like some L-Dopa with my stims before workouts

I also love L-DOPA with stims preworkout (the old cellucor c4 comes to mind). Have you ever tried EC with L-DOPA? I have never had anxiety in my life but that was a pretty bad experience haha

I found that Titanium, DAA, and D1 did amazing things for anxiety. I'm not sure which one actually did it but it helped a ton. I just came off them about a week ago and started L-dopa and the anxiety is back and kicking my azz. Now that I think about it I could feel the anxiety coming back just before I stopped taking Titanium, DAA, and D1. I wonder if the affects were wearing off after two months. I had a rushed job come come up this last weekend and the printer started to act up. I wanted to throw it through the wall.

Yes, it can be problematic at the dosages used to treat serious mental illness. Not so much at very low doses of 5-10mg of the orotate. Hell, most of us are getting 2-3mg from drinking water alone. There is one study out of Japan about levels of lithium in drinking water and those regions with higher lithium content had lower mortality rates.

Good to know; my experience with Li is just as a wnt agonist in the lab.
