Kleen's Down with O.E.P. Yeah you know me...

damn straight-talk about motivation-hell yeah!!!

I have to say that this morning I feel like I look much better in the mirror this morning. I imagine I am filling up a little over the past 2 days reintroducing carbs into the mix. That and my lower abdomen is starting to get smaller. Pants fit looser and yesterday I had a guy who hadn't seenme in two weeks tell me "Man you cut weight quick!" then another person comment on me getting leaner and asked if I had a comp coming up or something. Then at the gym someone I didn't know asked me if I was getting ready for a competition or something. Pretty cool!

Good stuff, I like how things are progressing with my prep as well.. I am getting the point where I am starting to look smaller in street clothes than I actually am, that means I'm getting lean!!

i am the same way, when i get really lean i don't look nearly as big with clothes on as i do when stripped down.

yah I think it's the same with most people, especially when you compare it to how big they look on stage...

You ain't kidding. I was in need of affirmation, you see the scale tell you and the calipers tell the tail of the tape, but peoples opinionsreally go a lot further. Escpecially when it is other people opinions that will make you win or lose in the end. Of course in a good prep there is no lose only learn... UNLESS YOU GIVE UP!

Yeah from bulked to built, from built to buff, and finally from buff to badazz!

So you at what 12 lbs down now Big T you Hyper-responder you! Your gonna end up being the poster boy for OEP you keep it up.

Yeah I tell people all the time don't let the bigorexia get ya. If you can make it past the looking smaller in clothes to when the cuts really start coming in then it is gravy from there. The cuts motivate you all on there own. People definitely look a lot bigger cut.
That is good stuff.:)
Yes I am very pleased right now. I think my pics next weekend should really show some more obvious changes.

A;right everyone my apologies I have been very busy and haven't updated in a bit. I am still losing fat, I increased carbs some and filled back out a bit. I did have a slight eating festival this weekend. My wife made it abundantly clear after a lot of workout modifications due to injuries that I was not competing in May if I expected her to support me in it. She said I was going to hurt myself trying to push for this contest so I am doing one in July. I have to lay off of my quads for about 4-6 weeks to see if an injury can "heal thyself". SO there will be no lifting any weights with quad specific movements. Just Hindu Squats ands some higher resistance recumbant biking to acheive a pump and increased circulation to the area. Well anyway I ate like a normal person for my birthday and a few other meals that my wife took me out too over the weekend. I think by picture time this weekend the water will have come down and I will be looking nice at around 200 lbs and 8% I am thinking.

With the delay in the show I am refocusing on slow reps and recomp. I want to stick around 200 and recomp to about 6% then start my prep in Mid-May, not sure if I can get that much more size on with the lack of leg work but we will see what we can do. I have been known to get creative.

I would take the time to do isolation on your perceived problem areas. This is where I miss my old mentors eye. He could tell if I had done a certain exercise that particular week.

that's amazing that he could spot that-damn!

Yah I remember once at posing practice he looked at me and went back to my log book and said, "I knew I told you to do reverse pulldowns" turns out that I had forgot to do them!! It was freaky and his wife's eye was just as good. He's been at it for 35 years so...

Yah there are a lot of awsome restaurants around. I have to avoid them right now but after contest I will be hitting some of my favourite spots. If you go down where I live in the summer there are thosands of tourists so you see people from all over the world. There is also very decent street entertainment.

Hard to know what to compare them to. Old Montreal has some pretty high prices but there are some good places and tourist trap places. I live here so I have paid my dues. Now that I know some people from here helps too.

During the summer they have some pretty great festivals, comedy and jazz festivals are top notch.

thanks, dw. i am going to look into it.

Have been sick as a dog.

Hey everybody, I had some sort of intestinal bug and was just out of commission. I had to talk myself out of forcing cardio this morning, my stomach is still not all the way right but I am not curled up in a ball at home any more either. I figured it was better just sleeping in until 6:00AM this morning and getting a tad more rest. I know I have definitely lost some more weight. Unfortunately not in the way I wanted. Will be trying to get my food situation right today and tomorrow.

Get well soon my friend.:)

Running into some issues as of late... just do what you can, all you can do really. I try not to sweat the stuff I have no control over.... doesn't always work...

Yeah, it is all kind of working itself out. I haven't lifted since Tuesday which is probably good for my body. I lost more wieght for sure and It wasn't all muscle just lots of water and glycogen. I ate 2 bowls of raisin bran yesterday with some protein shakes and finished the night off with double drained ground sirloin spaghetti with whole grain pasta. So I am working at getting fiber into the intestines to finish the job of cleaning out whatever caused the issues as well as getting my glycogen stores backup.

Guess who just started the TNA, at this point I wont log this run of it. I am taking it with T-Force for the next 4 weeks finishing off one bottle of each however the TNA dose will be a little lower with this run to make the one bottle last for the month so I will take it at 5 caps a day with one day off. The T-Force will be taken at 4 caps a day which is a higher than normal dose my wife gave up the last half of her second bottle. She found herself to be too aggressive with the elevated test levels. Wish me luck on the rest of this run, it should help keep size on during lower intensity training.

Definitely keep me in the loop about TNA, I will be starting mine in 4 weeks.

Yep, a little Jack3d, or even O.E.P. and energy is not a problem. I too am in bed early, it kind of goes with the 4:30AM gym sessions. Speaking of, I only took ReCreate today I did not want to have a stimulant pushing stuff through my intestines. I don't need any help in that area right now.

Thanks for that image... :nervous:

HaHa, such a visual person. LOL I am the same way people can't be descriptive without me picturing what they are saying. It is involuntary to say the least. Often times not anything I want to be visualizing....

Does make you wonder for those of us that don't compete, is there any point hitting much below 9 - 10% if we keep our clothes on most of the time.

I've hitting just under 10% and suit just doesn't fit as snugly, which in turn makes me feel, possibly look, a little smaller!

Well if you don't take your clothes off much and aren't competing nor feel the need to get that lean I would stay wherever you are most comfortable for you. I have never been a fan of clothes I walk around in a wife beater or no shirt and a pair of shorts at home from the time I walk in pretty much until bed. I also live in Texas so it is hot out from March until late September at the learliest so I like to be leaner because I am alway in limited clothing. Just how I am made. Really though, even at 9-10% you are not fat by any means and still pretty lean just not cut or ripped. However might as well dip to 8 and have the abs too. Of course that's just my preference.

Well I ate a little freely again this weekend not asking for forgiveness I enjoyed myself. Without the pressure of the show I figres some extra cals over the weekend would not hurt my muscle gains and I am in no rush to cut now. Just maintain weight and slowly bring fat levels down basic recomp. I fugre some extra cals should help me heal up a bit. I wont be updating this everyday since my focus is not a cut but continue to log noticeable differences in my program. I will post up some meal plans later this week too.

You fugger!! lol just kiddin, my diet isn't that bad and since I invented my special homemade hot pepper relish I can get by pretty well.

Yah I am more of an endo, so I have had that dream!! It's taken a lot of hard work to get down and my maintenance will be around 9-10 from now on.

Being the same body type as you DW, I am shooting to get down to 10-12% and stay there for general health/asthetic reasons; since I don't compete I don't see a reason to push it any further unless I am wanting to cut up for summer or something important.

I agree with what you guys are saying for sure. If I didn't have the bouncing moobs at 10% I would want to hang in this area too. For me to get rid of the moobs which honestly is my # concerns it requires one of two things from me. 1 Stay very lean all year round, or 2 Have that fat pocket under my chest sucked out. Well I don't have the funds for number 2 and would get my wife the breast augmentation she wants before doing that anyway. Was my kids that went in there and messed em up in HER eyes so she can get that fixed. To me she is my Goddess but she doesn't feel that way about herself. of course she would get on my nerves if she did. LOL

Yah I have those issues as well, but looking at things practically I may have trouble mataining below 9.. we'll see how it goes.

AMEN to that. If I can't maintain that and still be comfortable in everyday life then I will let myself get a little heavier.
