LMAO, my significant other would laugh significantly if I expected her to wake up earlier to make my coffee. I have a hard enough time getting her out of bed as it is.

No way! How did I miss the Edge! You were definitely on the short list but the end of the day got here before the end of the list creation. Glad you made it for sure!

Yesterday was a low day just over 1850 cals, today is a high day and a workout day so I get more food today with a goal of 2250!!!!!!! I know that is still low but it is a jump from where I was last week. I should continue to lean out at this rate just not as the speed I was before however my muscles should begin to become more full during the process so I think my physique should really make some strides over the next month or so as I work back up to and beyond maintenance levels.

Tonight I hit Back Width, Thickness, Biceps and Rear Delts - still trying to figure out how to go about training the right biceps so I don't cause injury. For now I think direct Biceps work will be all TUT oriented. I need to make an appointment with my ART guy to get some things worked on. Specifically this biceps issue and also my groin / lower glute region. If I get those two things worked out I will be pretty darn healthy which would be awesome right about now!

LMAO I know what you mean. She has never been a morning person. We barely speak first thing in the morning. Normally we are finished lifting before she ends up really starting to talk much to me. Then again she has a crappy case of insomnia and hardly gets any sleep her being up to work out at all is impressive. Admittedly since I have been lifting more in the evenings she hasn't been to the gym in a while.

I agree! You guys are hotter than a broccoli fart creeping out the back door.

So last night I went up to the gym to hit it and had a lil fun. Ended up just being a back and biceps day. By the time I added an extra back and biceps exercise to the frey I forgot to do rear delts. I am going to hit them tonight on my Tower 200 if I don't end up saying screw it and going to the gym for legs. If i go do legs i think I will add rear delts and maybe a couple sets of shrugs. If not I will do those at home and hit legs tomorrow. Here are the higlights of the workout. I didn't track it I just went in and lifted. Kept a mental note of some things but really was just trying to get in a great workout and succeeded.

Back & Biceps

Wide Grip Lat Pull Down - Tempo 1-2-2 = 110x20, 150x15, 170x10, 190x10, 210x10, 230x8
- These felt pretty good up until the last set where my elbow/biceps tendon started hurting a bit so I stopped. I could have pulled the next two reps if I really gave it hell but the pain told me that was not a good idea. Either way my lats already had a pretty nice pump when done.

Hammer Strength MTS Dorian Rows - Tempo 1-2-2 - 45x15, 55x15, 65x12, 75x12, 85x10 - THESE FELT AMAZING! Sticking to the tempo was hard, but I was really able to contract my back so well with these. I just held the handles and closed my eyes tuned in to the muscle and initiated the move from the lats and just pulled the elbows back by contracting my back and then the 2 second squeeze just cemented the contraction into the fibers. The reason for the 1-2-2 tempo kind of steals from John Meadows theories regarding doing negatives on back movements and the arms taking over. He recommends you squeeze and hold to increase the TUT instead of doing negatives which transfer to the arms more often than not. I could definitely feel a huge difference doing these the way I was doing them. Right now if I want to keep making progress I have to use other principles besides just adding weight because my biceps tendon is unhappy and being on methyls I have not been able to run a round of ibuprofen to keep inflammation down. Good news is I am almost complete with my methyls and am on a lower dose. Once I start the Tren Devastation run I can begin to repair the liver more and then hit it with a good week of 2400mg of ibuprofen a day. Right now my urine is a little yellow so better to wait.

Straight Arm Lat Pull Down - Tempo 4-0-2 - 75x15, 90x12, 90x8, 75x11 - Man the lats were just on fire here, and this is one of the back exercises you can do negatives without worrying about the arms taking over so I took advantage of that.

Barbell Curls - Tempo 3-1-3 - 45lbs x 4 sets to failure - As you can see I really slowed the tempo down & lowered the weight dramatically to baby this right biceps tendon. The 3 second negative and concentric with a 1 second squeeze at the top was just brutal. The fire in my biceps was rough, I just closed my eyes and went about trying to keep doing reps through the burn. My first set was in the 20's and reps went down until getting about 8 on the last set. Like I said I wasn't really counting these so much as putting in the work and trying to have as intense of a mind muscle connection as possible.

DB Supinating Curls - Tempo - 3-1-1 - 30 lbs x3 sets to failure - again I did not count these so much as just do the work. Seems like the first sets was around 12 and the last set was about 7-8 but the last set was pretty much normal tempo because I couldn't budge it going slow.

I went home for dinner and had some kind of shepards pie type thing with lean ground turkey, fat free brown gravy, rice, and veggies + a protein shake and a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.

Total Macros for the day 302p, 59 fat, 123c

Thanks Pete, yeah I knew what was in the dinner because I made it before I went to the gym so I had a good idea on the macros. Once I added that in I was trying to figure out where to get the rest of my carbs and fats from. Just so happens the PB&J was just the ticket to get me there. Not exactly IIFYM as the PB was good PB and the fruit spread was just that. Real Fruit Spread no sugar added, so it worked out well. I think it had been a year since I have had a PB&J... was a nice treat.

Like reclaiming a little bit of your childhood with every bite. Next on tap, PB and Honey Sandwich, and PB and Marshmallow Cream Sandwich! After eating those I should have reclaimed enough of my youth to grow my hair back. LOL

PS if you have never had a PB and Marshmallow cream sandwich on toast YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT YOU ARE MISSING!!!!! That was like the special super awesome treat we would get every once in a while as kids. Mom would buy a jar of marshmallow cream and all of us kids would get excited! We would have those for a couple days and blow right through the jar of marshmallow cream until it was gone or she took it to her room so we woudn't finish it.

I am not even a super huge fan of marshmallow but man the mix of the marshmallow cream and PB is just so exquisite I think it must be what Hercules used to bulk!

Those are great movies nothing wrong with that. The wife likes those too. :)

Last night I did chest shoulders and triceps in the garage. I stuck with a 4-0-1 tempo on everything. I really pushed the TUT. kenpoengineer here is the lifting weights part!
Barbell Up and Over Press 45x20, 65x12, 65x10, BB Military Press Behind Head - 95x15, 95x12 - the negatives on these were just killing me. Shoulders were crazy pumped and I shortened rest periods to about 30 seconds for these.
What in the tits is a "Barbell Up and Over Press". It sounds like an epic carnival ride of a lift.

Also, 4-0-1? Wha? The pain...

Over and backs are a great exercise. I think I'm going to the store tomorrow to get the ingredients to make that sandwich. My wife came home today with a loaf of English muffin bread from breadsmith. That sounds like an amazing bread to use for this concoction.

Pretty much why I don't buy a lot of things. I can sit there & tell myself that jar of Nutella is only gonna be occasionally, & post-WO, but the reality is it's gonna be in the middle of a lazy off-day & it's gonna be about 5 spoonfuls of shame. No thanks lol; it's easy enough for me to cheat as is.

I generally try to avoid pressing anything behind the neck, it puts a pretty serious strain on the ol rotator cuff and since I've already had two shoulder injuries.....

The over and backs really aren't too harsh on the rotator cuffs for whatever reason. I'm assuming its a ROM thing. They never bothered mine anyway. And everything bothers my shoulders haha

I normally do them as the last exercise at the end of a shoulder workout with light weight for a burnout
