Haha, yeah no doubt. In all honesty as low as my cals have been for most of this year I am almost shocked at how hard it has been to get the fat to come off. Oh well once it is moving it should really take off. Just hoping I don't have to drop cals to nothing to do it.

3/30/13 Back Biceps & Rear Delts

Neutral Grip Close Grip Pull ups body weight 217 - 10, 7, 5, wide grip lat pull 18x10, 180x10 first time doing these in forever.
Wide Grip Cable Row - 165x10, 180x10, 195x10, 210x10, 225x7 Strength definitely up here.
FST-7 Straight Arm Lat Pull - 75x10, 10, 7, 60x10, 8, 50x10, 50x9 - Massive pumps in my lats.

FST-7 EZ Bar Curl 55x12, 85x10, x7, 75x9, x6, 65x7, 55x7 - Biceps were shot at the end of that...

FST-7 Rear Delt Swings - 45x12, 12, 11, 8, 40x10, 9, 9 - I love how these hit my rear delts.


4/1/13 Biceps / Triceps / Medial Delts

DB Curls - 15x20, 30x10, 40x10, 40x8
DB Pin Wheel Curls 35x10, x7
Machine Preacher Curls - 95x10, 95x5, 80x8 DB Incline Curl 20x12, x12, x10, x8 Had to switch up in the middle of them. For some reason the preachers were messing with my biceps tendon.

Smith Machine Over Head lockout - 100x15, 150x12, 200x10, 200x8
- Have not done these in a while and they were just what I needed for both overhead triceps and some xtra shoulder development.
DB Overhead Extension 85x15, 100x10 Felt really good
Rope Triceps Extension - 52.5x10, x10, x7, 50x8, x7, 42.5x8, x6 - My triceps pump was huge after all of this.

DB Lateral Raises 25x15, 30x10, x10, x10, x8, x8, x8 - My shoulders were just swole up after this.

4/2/13 - Legs (had a bad head ache during workout)

Wide Stance Squats - 135x12, 225x12, 315x10, 365x7 - up one rep! My headache got sharper and sharper each set.
Seated leg Curl 90x12, x10, x10, 85x6, 75x10, x9, x7 - I couldn't even attempt an 8th rep on that last one.

Leg Press - 540x12, 720x12, 900x7 - Stopped, the pain in my head was just too much when I was pressing the weight so I decided to move on to leg extensions.
FST-7 Leg Extension - 210x10, x8, x6, 190x5, 150x6, 130x4, 110x4 - I had nothing left in my quads after this. Was happy to be at a stopping point because my head ache was pounding during the working sets.

Yeah, that is really a weird fat storage it is all in my trunk, abdomen, and under my chest. My arms and legs are both pretty lean, my legs being the leanest things on my body. When flexed even now I have a little bit of striation in my outer quad, but far from being lean elsewhere.

Numbers here look good for my targets. A tiny bit low on fat and carbs and a tiny bit high on protein but the calories work themselves out pretty good.

Okay now for the workout.

HS Decline Chest Press - 45x15, 90x12, 135x10, 160x9, 170x4 - Got pretty beast mode the last two sets. :)
HST-7 Straight Arm Pec Deck - 180x12, 11, 10, 6, 160x8, 8, 7 - Chest looked HYUGE after this.

Life Fitness Shoulder Press 110x10, 80x10, 10, 8, 9 - First set my elbows and shoulders let me know they were not having heavy weight any more today. I slowed the temp way down after that and just concentrated on the contraction.
FST-7 Lateral Raise Machine - 100x12, 12, 12, 9, 90x10, 8, 8 - Shoulders were kaput after this... Also quite inflated as well. :)

FST-7 V Bar Cable Triceps Extension - 90x12, 100x12, 110x10, 10, 10, 8, 8 - My triceps were damn near ready to pop off the back of my arm they were so tight and full when I was done.


Things of note, the water seems to have come off from my cheat day even with the high carbs Tuesday. I am looking very big right now, and things are going well. I am definitely noticing my joints and or tendons bitching at me about pushing it nice and hard. My chronic elbow issue keeps trying to pop up. I think I may need to either slow everything down to limit weight, or do higher reps explosively with short rest periods.
Either way I need to modify things a bit to minimize the stress on my elbows... I have another workout that does me pretty well but if I can make this one work the split is great especially for my current goals.

Also I should mention I decided to extend this run to a 12 week run since our stuff if pretty mild on the system it won't be any issue. I will have an additional 4 weeks at 6-8 caps a day of 1-Alpha, however the 550XD will still only be an 8 week run.

think i get more bang for the buck running short intense cycles (3-4 weeks, depending on the compound, hi-dosing) rather than extended runs at more standard dosing

I have honestly been contemplating short 2-3 week bursts with some stronger compounds, however for what I am doing now I think a long extended one is probably the way to go. If I were bulking more I would do the shorter runs with things like MSten. However for the recomp / cut I am trying I feel a longer approach will be good. As a matter of fact I think as it stands now part of my plan is to do a 2-3 week run in between this run and my run during prep. Like I said who knows depends on what I see when cleaning up. If things are going extremely well I may try for that early show.
 
yup, keep it fluid, decide as she goes, and of course it depends on the compounds involved
our product really needs to be run for longer than say 3 weeks, sure (but hi-dosing for short runs is cool too) :D

Yeah I think you have a good plan with the shorter bursts. I have been thinking of going that route for a while now. Once on TRT I may do 2-3 weeks every 6-8 weeks. I really think I could add a lot of quality size over the course of a year doing that.

If all the work on delts and arms pays off I should look pretty impressive when I lean up. I still feel I need more biceps, my triceps are pretty good they really hang off the back of my arm, but my biceps are not as massive. When I flex they are fine but I would love to see more of a round bicep even when the arms are just hanging. Of course that may simply be how my muscles tie in to my delts... Either way it is gonna take me getting nice and lean to know anything for sure.
 
Once your on trt you're gonna want to do those burst cycles on the reg bro for now that 12 weeker sounds good, loved mine but really started feeling like shyt by the end

Andro gel or similar should really help. Maybe even low dose nolva or aero to boost T

I think the exeme is giving me the mildest joint discomfort, but I cannot find a single side with it besides that (if it is that). I believe it's legit tho. Even launching with the cyanostane for 23 days my sack is full as ever and libido is good, altho I expect this Msten I started today to change that quick enough. I really think it's the 4AD keeping it happy.

What're you using for your joints anyway Kleen? And you still using Max Pump e/d?
 
Yes Max Pump 4 a day every day. I love that stuff. I come home looking like a Monsta! Yeah I bet the 4-AD is what is keeping you happy about now. Very cool that you are not shutting down too much.

Right now I am taking 4 Achilles per day. As far as my elbows, I just have chronic tendonitis in my elbow / triceps. My ortho told me that it will flair up every once in a while when I am pushing hard. I am definitely doing just that right now. During my first prep it got pretty darn bad but I wasn't going to stop during prep. Well I pushed through it for so long that I basically have a lot of scar tissue and get easily inflamed. I am going to try to get in to see my ART guy next weekend. This weekend my sister is coming into town so I can't do it until then.

Oh by the way I told you all my arms are getting leaner and vascularity was increasing. Last 2 days have been low carb days and I had not done anything physical. This is just what I saw randomly bulging veins so I took a pic of it.

I could fit it in but all my food is going to be solid from here on out. I need all the solids I can get to keep from feeling over hungry. I mean I will toll the line either way but too hungry gets uncomfortable. Right now the way it is a little hungry here and there suits me just fine. Plenty of time for this afterwards...

I could fit it in but all my food is going to be solid from here on out. I need all the solids I can get to keep from feeling over hungry. I mean I will toll the line either way but too hungry gets uncomfortable. Right now the way it is a little hungry here and there suits me just fine. Plenty of time for this afterwards...

Yeah I am pretty lucky I have been eating mostly right at or just under 2000 except for the higher carb days and hunger has not become an issue. Maybe it is the new Pro-Xanthine 500 doing it. The first time or two it was not as strong as the last couple times where it showed that it is definitely a bit more intense of a stim than the PX Black not by a ton but definitely a little more stimmed.

I had a great workout this weekend. I crushed my back workout, added a few reps on pull ups, then added 15 lbs to the final set and did a few extra reps on my wide grip cable rows. Biceps I went up in weight and reps as well. Kept my diet and macros in check this weekend. I also finally started moving in the right direction with my weight.

Okay so today was check in time with Matt as Invalid Link Removed I started at 214.8, last week I was up to 217.8 and this week I am down to 213.2, so down over 4 lbs this week obviously some of this was glycogen but the fact I am down 1.6 lbs from the beginning shows that I am dropping weight. Keep in mind I am on the 1-Alpha ands 550XD too which is trying to add weight / muscle so there is probably even more fat loss than just what the scale shows. Here are my progress pics. Matt looked at them and said the difference was obvious so it is not just in my head that things are starting to happen nicely.

Things I notice is my waist is noticeably smaller, there is nowhere near the protrusion I had the last 2 weeks. Also for being completely relaxed everything still looks tighter which is nice. I will probably even do some man-scaping this week so we can really see everything that is going on. Right now my chest hair is easily over an inch long. Kind of crazy...
 
2000 that's pretty low, I am still at 2500 ... just lost another 2.5 lbs in 5 days so I am going to keep it there for now. The only cardio I am doing is my commuting/walking which I would be doing anyway. I bet I am getting something from all the posing though.
 
Crazy hairy old men. You guys and yer hair stories crack me up. 2000 does seem pretty low. I hope he doesn't have you there for long. Should work well for about a month though. Eventually you'll have to bump back up to continue shredding
