Good morning everyone! Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers! Gonna be tough for a while! I went and saw his family last night. They're hanging in ok. Still in shock and overwhelmed...The gym was a whole different environment this morning too! I struggled to stay out of my head and focused on training. The first tank I grabbed this morning was one he brought me back from a Gold's in CA. :'(

Happy Thursday! Got to sleep till 6:20 this morning! Felt good although I dreamt a lot last night. Decided to switch up cardio and try out a barbell complex! I really liked it! Made "cardio" much more fun! Had 1/2 scoop of stimul8 and sipped my BCAA +SAA's. As I've said before, I really enjoy both of these! Love the energy from the stimul8 and it's always nice and quick to kick in. That's huge to me because I don't have time to wait on it to hit me! Gotta keep moving!! lol

Barbell Complex
Each--45x6, 55x6, 55x6, 45x6, 45x6, 45x6
Stiff legged Deadlifts
Hang cleans
Front squat
OHP
Back squat
Bent row

Rest 45 secs and repeat for 6 rounds

Could really tell how sore my shoulders were when doing the OHP so that's why I dropped back down to 45lbs. The rest was fairly easy but I still worked up a good sweat!... this was my first attempt! I'll find a way to make it more intense.

SS chin ups and DB swings

Good morning! Happy Monday! Man was it good to be back in the gym! I always look forward to Mondays and training after resting 2 days! I took the BCAA's + SAA's over the weekend again. I was dehydrated due to being so busy with the funeral, cakes, and such that I had slacked on my water intake. Definitely helped with the horrible headache I woke up with on Sat. morning.

Went for lunch conditioning! It kicked my butt!!! Lol Had portobello mushroom pizza and a grilled chicken salad for lunch afterwards!! Yumm!!

im kinda anal about my grip and form so I literally hate jumping up and trying to get my grip just right.

No, they don't! I am too! Hate the way it pinches my hands when I jump! My hands still hurt! Lol I'll just have to steal a bench or something tall enough to reach the bars!

I use those on smith rows a lot.

Fortunately, our bars are all low enough to grab without jumping you just have to tuck your legs.

Got to sleep in a bit today! Woke up 10 mins before my alarm went off in the same exact position I fell asleep. I don't think I moved all night! Fell back asleep before my alarm went off and then again afterwards! Oops! Lol

Went at lunch for a little conditioning. Just had fun with it today! Had 1/2 scoop of stimul8 to sip on! Definitely got the sweat rolling! Lol I love the way this stuff helps give you the little extra you need to push through when you're dragging a bit.
