don't feel too bad... I moved to Atlanta and the whole city had been **** down twice in the last week due to snow/ice. Might be again tomorrow. This year blows.

Went to the gym and Muay Thai tonight.
While at the gym, a guy came up and asked if I passed. I gave him a weird look then he told me that he was at the testing also. We both passed! Yay! Lol, he said he recognized me from the gym. :D
Before I was leaving, another person came up to me, I don't even know why. We talked for 30 mins about life, love, God, work, and family. We were talking like old friends. Sooooo weird! He said something about how we were meant to meet each other then he gave me his number.

It's crazy how people just come into your life when you least expect it. :)

I've been listening to something that pertains to this. It's called living in God's timing. :) We have to trust in His will. It'll happen when it's meant to happen. :D

Honestly When i talk to people and hear their stories its so refreshing. You see that everyone has dragged with them some baggage and dealt with trials and tribulations. Then when you see and hear about how they made it out okay its spirit lifting because you see how having some faith can be all you need in the worst situations.

hahaha Its late at night here, so obviously it means its time for deep conversations ;)

You're absolutely right. Everyone carries a little bit of baggage with them, and we should all be a little more empathic towards each other. People forget how it feels to be hurt, alone, and depressed when they find happiness. They forget how to sympathize. I always say that I want to be the friend I didn't have when I was going through hard times.

Like Its amazing you can be hurt and know what a situation feels like and then be the person on the other end of the situation and forget how to have empathy. Yeah and some people in the worst **** forget real quick how it felt once they get out of it and refuse to show empathy for people in their previous situation, even if thats what they wanted so terribly when they were there

Yup! That was my situation. My best friend of 25 years was not there for me after my relationship ended. She had forgotten how it felt because she had found love again. I remember the day so clearly. She came over and I cried and cried. We talked for 30 mins and all she said to me was stay strong and she left. She had no comforting words for me. From that very moment, I told myself that I will always be the friend that I so desperately needed at that time.

Totally zoned out several times. Lol (in a good way) I switched my music up from mostly Skillet to a mixture of Hard Rock. Love it! I skip some of the songs due to the language but otherwise it's perfect for the intensity I keep during training!
