Jeeeeesus!!! That's awesome!!! I've only ran 3 miles once and that was at my lowest weight. It was effn torture but then I got this runners high and it felt amazing! Freaking A, I was just thinking that there's no hills around me, but then I realize my work is by the river and I have to go over the hill to see it. A few years ago I trained for a race like this and towards the end of my training I was playing entire 60min ice hockey games with my breaks being switching from offense to defense for a shift. I ran the 5k obstacle race at basically a slow sprint in like 19min. Best cardio shape I've ever been in.

Start by sprinting what you can and slowly work your way until you can sprint the whole hill. Once you can, start cutting into the recovery time by jogging back down instead of walking.Jeeeeesus!!! Haha, that's def what I want! this hill is pretty steep but it's about a few miles long. Maybe I can run up and down for half a mile. I'll take a pic tomorrow when I go to work. I've ran up before and its pretty intense. Running down made me feel like I was going to topple over.it doesn't have to be steep.
