I'm still in!
I've done the original creeping death a few times now and tried starting 2.0 last week. On day 1, one of my bicep tendons went pop, so hoping it's just a really bad strain and not a tear. Getting old sucks!Me and my training bud went in on project colossus, definitely looks like one to put all the extra winter calories to use.
But I love creeping death 2.0 so it’ll be hard to beat for me
I feel for you brother. I had an injury doing deadlifts about 3 months ago. Haven’t been in the gym for a solid two months. Feeling much better but needed some time off. I hope you recover quick! Creeping death 2 was awesome, but if your doing it progressively like prescribed it’s no joke. By week 6 I was hurting. to anyone doing that plan: DO NOT play around with your recovery doing that plan. Get in your rest stretching and mobility work!I've done the original creeping death a few times now and tried starting 2.0 last week. Completely agree, if you are pushing like the program asks then you should be sore.I feel for you brother. I had an injury doing deadlifts about 3 months ago. He actually prescribes a minimal amount of sleep cycles per night to recover in the new colossus plan. I was kinda suprised. There was some great info on sleep and recovery in it.Completely agree, if you are pushing like the program asks then you should be sore.
I love it but while you are doing it man it takes it out of you
Recovery is key
Can’t wait for his next ebook on recovery
‘First set take a 45 min nap’
Bliss
It's been interesting to watch his programs evolve in content and even how they're presented. Some of the early ones had parts where he could have used an editor and I sort of had to guess what he was trying to say. They just keep getting better. He actually prescribes a minimal amount of sleep cycles per night to recover in the new colossus plan. I was kinda suprised. I knows what you mean. Since I started reading on his site, probably 5 or 6 years I’ve noticed articles and concepts posted and then his programs evolving. If you watch his YouTube now you can see the same things. He has specialists on his videos and then you will notice the concepts and techniques in the new programs. It's been interesting to watch his programs evolve in content and even how they're presented. Sure I’d be interested to see thatUsually trade
If people are unsure about the program I can post a screen shot of the pull day I did yesterday from it?
See how people feel and then maybe you will get people to group buy
I would just pm other members and see what they are willing to do... some may want to trade, some may want to sell etc. also mountaindogdiet is an awesome site, for 100 a year you can get on there. There are a ton of workouts on there for their members. Some of my all time favorites for back and chest came from there. This group buy doesn’t seem to be happening. I’m very interested though if it does.
As far as other programs go how do you guys go about selling/trading? Is it frowned upon to sell other programs on here? For example Creeping Death 2? Do you guys normally just trade?
Yes. If anyone is interested in programs DM me. Willing to trade.I would just pm other members and see what they are willing to do... some may want to trade, some may want to sell etc. also mountaindogdiet is an awesome site, for 100 a year you can get on there. Yep loving it! It’s a change for me and added some motivation. Really trying to push to the required RPE of 10 or even 11.Did colossus legs today
My hams were pumpeddddd
Anyone else following this program yet?
It’s a little trial and error going all out at 10/11Yep loving it! It’s a change for me and added some motivation. Really trying to push to the required RPE of 10 or even 11.
Totally agree! I’ve guessed wrong on a few and end up over/under by a couple. It’s a little trial and error going all out at 10/11
It was the same with gamma bomb/creeping death 2.0 but I suppose after the first week you have a better idea what you can push too.
Just got to make sure the first two warm up/feeder sets really do prepare you for the heavy stuff
Legs today though was brutal
Hams and quads looked massive
I was ready to go after the stiff legs but my training bud wanted to finish and do calves
And it was at that point my legs gave up
I’ve never heard of ares? What does it look like?I have it and love it. I think I Creeping Death 2 and Gamma Bomb better though.
I think I’m going to try Ares or Beyonder next. Pretty sure John said these two were his favorite programs.

Having a lot of his programs, I always find myself going back to gamma bomb. I really like the way it is setup and the variety of exercises.... I did enjoy creeping death but I really like arm days, and this program is nice because of that.I have it and love it. I think I Creeping Death 2 and Gamma Bomb better though.
