Thanks bro, will do my best to let it heal, I don't think it will be serious, I hope not, I have no idea how it happend, freak thing idk lol

I tried to eat a lot today, freakin crazy how fast my body puts on water, I was 190 yesterday morning and tomorrow morning I'll be at least 195-196 :(

let it rest as far as the weights go. but do stretches to keep it limber.

Just now Weighed 192 after post-workout meal and lots of water:)

Ya will let it rest the next 2-3 days and see how it feels, looks really swollen still, you can see a big red circle where it hurts, really one of the most oddest things I've ever had lol

But got a nice workout in :), Now off to work soon :whiner:

LOL. Tell me about it. How's that lat feeling today?

It's pretty sore, feels not as sore as the last 2 days, but still swollen, should feels a little weird as well, it's like someone the upper lat next to the arm pit and my rotator cuff pain is some how connected :S

I'm hoping it feels good by tuesday

there is a muscle there in between your lat and pit. I foam roll this area during my general upper body warm up.

Here you can see a video of Defranco showing the spot and rolling it

Also here are some pics of some stretches from a book I got..

Hope it heals up JD..

Update
These are the workouts I did the last 2 days, upper lat is still hurting but not as swollen and getting better. Had a pretty good workout didn't push it on bench press but felt like a nice workout, got a sick pump, today was a very high carb day.

Well took my security test today, I need to pass it to keep my job, I really don't feel very confident on the test, my supervisor sent me a bunch of stuff to study, I studied yesterday for about 6 hours, did sample tests online and everything, NONE....NONE!!! of the stuff I studied was on this freaking test, totally blew my mind, was not very happy about this, def sucks.... I'll find out the results in a couple days, fingers crossed I passed but I think I screwed this one up :(.

It's been a really bad week, but there is one saying that is keeping me going :)

Nice to see you jumped on Shift also :bigok: I really like the thermo effect from it :firedevil: How are you going to dose it btw?

Well I started with 2 caps in the AM and 1 cap in the PM but started today 1 cap 3 times a day.

I havn't noticed much yet but I like the fact I still feel good working out, when I took Alpha T2 it made me sick, so did Oxy Elite Pro, I don't react well to Yohimbine.

Start monday when I get back to training more I'll see how it really works.

That's funny...I've been rolling that spot in my left shoulder for weeks trying to loosen it up. Good to hear I'm not alone on that.

I'll be interested in your results with Shift JD. I'm thinking of adding that one in a couple of months.

I'm sure you did fine on your test, we're our own worst critics. And as you said, if it doesn't work out there will be something better waiting. Don't let it stress you out (CORTISOL, CORTISOL, CORTISOL)!!!

Shift should help the Cortisol :), also started adding 1 cap of Erase every morning so cortisol is under control...I think lol

Shift help cortisol? Shift is 3,3 T2, isn't it? I didn't think that did anything for cortisol.

Erase's impact on cortisol is unknown, unless there's something I haven't seen yet. It's hypothesized that it does because it's a metabolite of 7-oxo DHEA, but no evidence that the metabolite does anything for cortisol to my knowledge.

No the shift doesn't but will still help me burn some fat lol

Erase definitely decreases cortisol, big time!

Did you see the write up on Erase?

Invalid Link Removed

Yeppers, here's what I saw:

ERASE has many similarities to its parent compound, 7-oxygenated DHEA. 7-oxygenated DHEA compounds such as the popular 7-keto-DHEA are known to competitively inhibit cortisol, leaving it as inactive cortisone. By lowering cortisol you change your body into a less catabolic state (a state of muscle breakdown) and rev’s you up into an anabolic state (a muscle building state) by increasing the amount of testosterone in the body. It’s a 2 for 1!

These 7-oxygenated compounds do this by flipping between the oxygenated and reduced versions of themselves on the enzyme that converts inactive cortisone to active cortisol, the 11-beta-HSD1 enzyme. While these conversions are taking place cortisone cannot convert to cortisol, which decreases the amounts of cortisol in the blood. This is the mechanisms that most of the popular cortisol reducers undergo.

There have not been any studies done on our particular 7-oxygenated compound on the 11-beta-HSD 1 enzyme, so its mechanism and affinity on the enzyme cannot be determined yet, but it is suggested that it is similar to the inhibition of it is closely related parent compound. And the best part is, Erase is the only one of these compounds to have powerful testosterone boosting abilities.

So, basically drawing the conclusion that Androst-3,5-dien-7,17-dione is similar enough to 7-oxo, which is similar enough to 7-keto which would control cortisol. That's not necessarily true, that's why I said it's hypothetical at this point, just drawing inferences and speculating.

Well I do agree with PES that it does decrease cortisol, I find it gives me the same effect Reduce XT does when it drys me out and many of the loggers have felt it decreased cortisol....but I suppose "technically" it's not proven yet...lol

How do you feel cortisol reduced? Even when I take >500mg of 11-oxo, I don't "feel" cortisol doing anything, I just get leaner. With Erase, that could be the effect of the AI, not cortisol control.

I'm not trying to call you out, I just don't know what it feels like to have lower cortisol!

Everytime I take a cortisol reducer my body dry and my joints get really dry, really feel it with Reduce XT.

Formestane didn't dry my joints out too bad and Erase at 3 caps I get really bad dry joints and I know it's not reducing estrogen as much as Formestane. Which leads me to believe it is also great at reducing cortisol.

I didn't know cortisol reduction led to dry or sore joints... Hmmm.... still haven't felt it then.

Thoughts
Had a great workout, pushed myself hard, my endurance felt a lot better today, looking leaner, which is cool because I didn't get to train as much the last week.

On day 5 of Shift and I really feel it's working good so far, I'm eating around maintenance cals, have a carb up today every 5 days to keep the metabolism up. But I'm liking Shift as a fat burner so far because most fat burners make me sick.

Also got my test results in and passed. Got a big shift tomorrow, I need to go to sleep soon 17 hour :fool2:
I r

i really like taking shift right before bed. :yup:

hell yeah-congrats on passing that test.....

2caps Shift before bed = Awesome :D
Except the night sweats :o

JD just a quick note that I ****ing love this thread. Every time I login I beeline it here to see what sort of crazy ass workouts you've taken on lately.

I've borrowed a bunch of stuff from here, including switching up my workouts to include high-rep days mixed in with 5x5 days. I was doing just 5x5 for a couple months and not seeing the physique gains I wanted... now I'm sweating like a madman at the gym crushing my workouts out with no breaks in between a few sets, and doing a lot of circuits.

Keep it up buddy! You're showing us all how it's done.

Thanks buddy!

Ya I wasn't happy with 5x5 as well, I really find I get better results doing my main lifts for strength then do circuits for pumps/endurance.

Training could be better right now, I can't do a lot of things due to my back not feeling 100%, but I'm hoping in another 6 weeks I can get back to training all out:)

^^Hang in there with that back man. You know I've been draggin through this bad arm situation but I've just worked around it and I've made some really good progress anyway.

Notes
Well things havn't been going the best, my back is really getting in the way of training and my knee has been hurting me a bit lately as well. I got to say my ankle felt better doing skipping then I thought for having 2 torn ligaments LOL

Tomorrow I'm gonna workout my lower back, abs and then just take it easy for the day. Will do boxing thursday, grappling friday and may do some swimming satursday morning. I'm gonna just do what I can for training, goal is to get back up and running 100% in the next 6 weeks, I have a plan of workouts and I'm going to try and follow it and make progress in back strength every week.

PES SHIFT!
Morning weight was 188lbs, I will be bumping the dose up to 4 caps a day, I'm really liking it so far, amazing non-stim fat burner.

Hope your back get's back on track  What exercises are you gonna do to improve it? Good Mornings is my guess ;)

Sucks about your back man! That's a nice circuit btw. Sometime over the summer the shift is getting in my stack for sure.

Gonna stick to back extensions and hyper extensions. Not sure if my back could really take good mornings yet.

Stiff leg deads with lighter weight can help too. I've been doing them and they will indirectly hit the low back while working the hams so that's a good one.

Hmm maybe I'll try the stiff legged deads as well, hopefully the back doesn't give out, it's pretty weak right now, I'm honestly gonna have to start off with just the bar and go up every week.

Morning weight- 187lbs (I have been eating pretty clean)

Ultra Cordy- 4 caps
Cissus- 1 cap

Workout

Skipping 1 min fast
Rest 30 secs

Lower back
Superman hold 5secs holds repeated 10 times

Reverse hypers 1 set 25 reps

Stiff legged deadlifts 1 set 45lbsx10 reps

Sauna 30 min

....wow maybe my problem is how unflexible my hamstrings are and may need strengthened, that or I just didn't get enough nutrition, I'm pretty broke right now and the food intake I have right now leaves me no choice to eat clean lol

I had eggs for my first meal then a low carb protein shake with water before this workout, I think my body may have been lacking some nutrition because my hammys got cramped up SOOO BAD! I've never had my hamstrings cramp up that bad before, it sucked LOL

So will def be giving stiff legged deads a try again, this may really help out the lower back. Total cals today were around 1400, not by choice lol

Speaking of Stims^:D

A friend of mine for his pre-workout has been taking 4 scoops of MESO! + 1 can of Monster energy drink :| on top of that 6 caps of CN lol. If he wasn't a real big powerlifter I think he would be dead by now lol

I thought I has no pre-workouts but saw I had 1 serving of ASGT in a container:D and also have about 3-4 serving of 1.M.R in another container, totally forgot I had them!

Gotta say I love shift! For my diet I've been doing maintenance diet 4 days, high carb 1 day, 2 days low carb. Shift is really helping me take off some fat, morning weight was 187lbs.

4 scoops of Meso would make me hurl, without a doubt!
