Alright fellas... my first experiences with both Jacked and JP8: Just ran jacked the past 3 weeks...took a week off and and am now giving JP8 my first run this evening @ 1.5 scoops... First impressions are these are both are top notch pre-workout supps, however when it comes down to having that true "on" feeling you get from AAS(and not this PH/PS stuff) JP8 wins hands down...the pumps, intensity, endurance and aggression is superior to any pre-workout supplement ive used in the past...just my $0.02

This is my problem with JP8. Everyone (most which haven't even tried it)keeps talking about how tough they are for taking nasty tasting sh*t. If I could just taste it for a second and down it, it wouldn't be that big of an issue, but haunting me throughout my workout is not cool. Jp8 does what it says, but I'm not willing to risk ruining a good workout because of self-inflicted nasuea.
Maybe it's an ingredient in JP8 that doesn't agree with my stomach, but the lingering taste sure doesn't help any.

i dont think anybody is saying their tough, we are just all saying we cant believe ppl mind the grape flavor. its not my fav get diesel supp (although i do like it a lot) but it is my fav tasting of theirs. hell if you have a tub and cant stand it, add grape xtend and your set.

im telling you, mix it with 6 oz water in a shaker and it mixes fine and tastes great, i mean i can barely taste it, it reminds me of Avant Synthesize beta.

Cant say I consider myself tough, but sounds like you need to drink some cement and harden up mate. After taste makes you sick? How soft are you? chew some gum or a mint. jesus

Im 6'1 i think(185cm?) 104-106kg, usually sit round 12-14% BF
Dont do 1RM Cause i train alone due to work
Train in the 5-7 range(prefer heavy/low rep)
Deads 155kg
Chins 15kg weighted's
Squats 170kg( my best genetic body part)
straight Bar curls 60 kg
DB Press 52.5-55kg Dumb bells(training alone prefer the dumbells) My chest is pathetic though, would give anything for a chest.
Should press 40kg dumb bells
There's a few just quickly off top of head, Now before you proceed to go into your speil bout how they aren't that great and how much more you do etc etc, Bear in mind I was NEVER talking bout how tough/strong i am. You seemed to feel the need to bring that up...

All I said, AND WILL CONTINUE TO SAY, Is that It is soft as **** to not drink a supp that would work because of the taste/after taste. Feel free to go ahead an rip apart my numbers and my post, i can see for some reason you are upset. But the PM I been receiving tell me LOTS of people agree with me.:D

Both the old and new versions didn't/don't upset my stomach. The ginger in it should help to calm an upset stomach anyways, among other things it's known for.

Once when I took it on a completely empty stomach, meaning didn't eat for like 2 hours, it made me nautious. I typically eat an hour before I leave for the gym. If I eat, 1 hr later drink jp8, drive to gym(15min), I'm fine.
 
I got the jacked for $15 and It's definitely better than N.O. Explode, Black Powder and a couple other pre-workout drinks I've tried. I gave 3 scoops of Jacked to a friend and he ended up throwing up. I usually take one scoop to one 1/2, anymore than that gives me a slight stomach ache.

Never tried the JP 8 and if I do it will be a while considering how much pre-workout crap I already have.

I'll try to refrain from judging your response and just give you my two cents.


I don't do a training split like most people. I train ALL of my upper body 3X a week, and ALL of my Lower 2X a week. I use forced reps, supersets, and very little rest in between. I don't finish an exercise without taking it to failure. I'm not here to preach about my training, and I'm sure many could critique it quite easily. My point is this: If you've ever done this kind of training, or any high intensity circuit training, you're probably quite familiar with nausea. It takes very little to get me sick and put the brakes on a good workout. Maybe I could do your workout and use JP8, who knows? I'm not bashing Chuck's product. I was the first one to give it a good review at NP. I'm just saying it won't work for me.

I'm not sure where your sense of manliness comes from. I guess everyone has their idea of what makes you a man or who is "tough". For some it's people who push themselves to the edge and beyond that of their physical capabilities, like many of the pro bb'ers and atheletes, or maybe people who overcome adversity and still triumph, like Lance Armstrong, maybe the guy who busts his a** to support his family, or maybe, to some, the guy who is willing to snort hot sauce to show off to his buddies. Obviously you give the glory to the latter.

I'm not as big or as strong as a lot of people on this board, but I do bust my a** every day.
After a little over a year of training, I bench pressed a then PR of 275X7 @ 160lbs., two days before running the Detroit half marathon(13.1 miles). I assure you I didn't get there from being soft, or from the magical powers of eating nasty sh*t.

So I will continue to bust my hump, and use what works for me. I will however, award you all the credit for being able to stomach sickening foods and/or beverages. Way to go!

I tried some last Friday and had to leave the gym after 6-7 sets of legs. I was very close to puking quite a few times. Maybe I ate to close to taking it, idk. Im going to try 1.5 scoops later on today and I will report back.

I have not tried JP8 but love jacked... all I can thnk of is if these two products are being compared so closely they both must be damn good products. I have no doubt that JP8 is a good product, there are lots of people who know there shyte who vouch for it. So it will probably all comes down to preference. One thing I like about Jacked is I can mix it in very little water and I don't have to fill my stomach with liquid before a workout which I don't like to do.

Taste is going to always be a consideration all be it a secondary one. Yes it's the last thing we should consider but consider it we will. I mean if your given 2 good products and all things being equal it comes down to taste then it would be moronic not to choose the better tasting product. I would only consider it after everything else. I may try JP8 some day. Right now I have lots of jacked and it is doing everything I need it to do so far.
 
Cheers Burgh, Blows my mind how many people talk bout flavours in regards to supps....man, seriously, if I had a training partner and he woulsnt use something that worked wicked JUST cause it tasted bad.....Id send his ass to the all female gym. Shut the **** up and train. Here's the lowdown for all the soft cocks
1. Mix your supp in a glass of water/ shaker
2. SKULL it down, rinse your mouth after if so bad.
3. change from your skirt into a pair of shorts and train :D easy!

PS Chuck, if you read this man, do you have anywhere I can get JP8 from in Aus bro? or you dont have distributor here?

Nahh, I ship to Aust. at fefifo.com with flat rate $15 USD shipping. I was talking to some gyms before there some guy that used DT over the years was a trainer at a popular gym chain down there and they was suppose to pick up DT years ago, but it was hard contacting him. I dont really "harass" retailers so I dont know what came of that.
 
I rarely post about a product,because I'm rarely this blown away by one. I've been using Jacked since the promo offer and it's a good pre workout supp. Smooth energy,tastes great and mixes well. After reading this thread I had to try JP8,and honestly,I'll never use anything else as long as it's available! I work out early,5-6 am so I usually mix 2 scoops of Jacked,NoExplode,or whatever I have and drink that 30 mins before I train. Then I mix 1 more scoop to drink while training. This morning I mixed 1 scoop of JP8 before working out,drank that,and mixed 1 more for the gym. I could'nt finish,and did'nt need the second scoop! The energy,focus,and intensity was crazy! I had the best workout in a long time,did'nt want to leave the gym,and the energy and focus carried me through most of the day with no crash. Yeah,the taste is a little harsh,but that's a minor thing compared to the results,not complaining. Chuck,don't change anything just for the taste! The only problem I see with this stuff is I'll prob overtrain myself. I'm reccomending JP8 to all my PT clients,and giving a sample to a few. Guess I'll have to try some more Deisel supps!

Hey and seriously thanks for trying it. Its hard to get people to try good stuff without feeding them a bunch of BS hype in the ads and write ups,and glad it works for you.

Dont eat food for 1 hour before or after taking JP8 and if u get upset stomach from powder herbal supplements then you need to take ur JP8 about 1 h pre-workout. I take mine 1 h. pre-workout. I dont drink any herbal anything 30min preworkout. Im sure everyone that says JP8 gives them upset stomach during there workout is talking 2 close to training or eating or drinking protein powder 2 close to drinking JP8.

Not 2 much. If you weed thru' the drama there is some consumer feedback on Jacked and JP8 in these 11 or so pages to date.

But next to try is JP8, its the only supp I never seen a bad thing written about(in terms of effectivness)

One quick Q chuck, how many 3 scoop servings i get from a tub? I need 3 jacked so in a tub I only get 15 servings! Also, caffeine, roughly in a 3 scoop serve? ( I always need maximum serving, I am stim reistant)

You have some severe adrenal issues if you need 3 scoops of jp8....
 
Na, I haven't tried it yet bro, just saying I always require the maximum dose of any stim, and i thought 3 scoops was max dose of JP8?

Unless Joebo is correct I don't see you needing 3 scoops, but you may...who knows! Of the few times I've tried JP8 I only took 1.5 scoops and I was hook'd up.

I guess it may depend on How much of the energy from JP8 relies on caffieine. i am pretty immune to caffeine. How many scoops to the tub dude?

1 serving = 1 scoop
there are 40 scoops

so at 1.5 scoop/serving this would last me approx. 26 workouts. Obviously at 2 scoops it would last approx 20.

Overall I had a great chest workout, felt very focused and intense. On a side note this is my 3rd day of Anabolic Edge and 1st day of Glycergrow. So some may be attributed to that as well. But either way JP8 had me feeling good and endurance was up a bit tonight. When it comes to me I like JP8 and Jacked equally. Two solid products.
 
I loved JP8 and the taste, while not great, wasn't horrible... The after taste was the killer but chewing gum while drinking it cleared that up lol

As far as Jacked is concerned, i'm sure it's a quality product but I haven't tried it yet and could not compare the two.

Thats def it.. The taste isnt terrible, but the after taste is horrible. Thats why I just threw one scoop in like 6oz of water and gulped it.
 
does anyone know if there are any samples of jp8 at nutra?

x2!!! Id love to try a sample before buying it. VPX gave me a sample of no shotgun and THAT is why I purchased some about a week or so ago. BTW, No shotgun is fukking awesome stuff!! It tastes great and works wonders! I like that is has 20g of protein in it also!

That would be a good idea for both products, what sup could benefit more from giving out samples than a sup that you feel the effects of immediately. I often wonder... what's the point of giving samples of a sup that takes more then what is supplied in the sample to form an opinion about.

Very true.... I sometime wonder why some companies give out samples for products you can not judge anything from a sample. I guess maybe taste, but it wouldn't be hard to make something great tasting but does nothing...

No one on earth needs 3 scoops of JP8, trust me. Also the supplement facts have all those questions answered on them.

You used Jacked at 1 scoop at a time?
 
The taste doesn't bother me as much as the smell,... makes me want vomit. But still, I am not sitting there taking deep brethes of JP8,.... I chug it in one gulp,... done in like 2 secs. If im out of a shaker, ill just old skool it and throw two scoops in the back of my throat and chug a glass of water,.... done!

I honestly don't mind tomoxifen that much.

1 or 2 servings of each product to give them a fair comparison?

give us a real comparable serving... whether that be one scoop or three.

I didnt say you said that. I made that comment after reading you saying you like them equally after using 1 scoop of JP8.

Without even commenting on this Jacked versus JP8 stuff, Ive done sample packs for R4W and Coq DIESEL tons of them, sent them to NP, posted that on AM, and only had them go out to AM members who requested the packs with their orders.......got about 5 post with feedback from 100's of samples.

Yeah I can do that, I just havent been into the mailing out samples for a while, postal rates are crazy and its time consuming, but I will look into this by the end of Feb.

I actually thought about giving out (2) 1.5scoop sample packs before to board people for mini-reviews.
