Is Agmatine the holy-grail of supplements?

Agmatine and ArA? No thanks. I did that once on a pull day and I almost had to stop my workout because the pumps were literally too intense.

Skin splitting!

It's important to remember that agmatine augments insulin release but does not mimic insulin, so its capacity to cause hypoglycemia is very low

How long does it last in your system?

I just started taking 1 gram pre w/o and have my biggest meal, high carbs and protein, 2-4 hours after the workout. For GDA and Nutrient Partitioning benefit would i need another dose before this post w/o meal?

What is an ideal daily intake of agmatine?

I didnt realise it helped sleep, ill try this tonight.

1g PWO?

How much Pre bed? 1g again?

1-1.5 pre workout, 1g before bed

1g before meals for GDA effect

I would not go over 3g daily though

1g when waking up, 1g PWO, 1g Prebed sounds legit. haha, its 12 pills a day! may need to get the powdered version next time

Powdered seems to hit faster for pumps, i like it this way myself.

You can get capsules in 500mg/each

I rarely if ever exceed 1g and utilize it all pre workout. Start with a lower dose pre bed to see how it impacts sleep (hopefully positively!).

No clue. Maybe Synapsin can chime in. I think there's literature on something like 2.5g taken daily for an extended time.

Invalid Link Removed apparently ramped up dosage to 3560mg and noted only transient GI distress (faded after a few days) as a negative side. Duration was short, though.

There's one that is long-term (2 years if I recall). I believe it didn't examine neurological impacts, however. Like I said, this is all off the top of the head. If you search Agmatine in pubmed it should be one of the more recent studies.

Basically that. I would not recommend using that high of a dose due to GI distress. As far as compounds go, agmatine is pretty safe. I don't see any real benefit going past 2.5 grams, however, so don't megadose.

What bulk powder Agmatine brand do you guys prefer? I've been using SNS.

SNS is the best bulk Agmatine I have tried.

I love taking the baggies of white powder through TSA screening!

It's especially great when you jam it in a blender bottle with the little shaker balls -- those don't look suspicious at all on the luggage x-ray.

Thanks, I might do 500g PWO and 500g pre bed then

I take 1g every day and in the last 2 weeks changed to this. Sleep has been really solid in combination with relora. I notice the difference with the added agmatine as my sleep is really deep.

I noticed it last night mate :) . Im actually doing 500g pre breakfast 500g pre lunch 500g pre bed :)

I never agmatine pre-bed, but like the potentoal benefit because I sleep so little as it is. Due to my schedule I eat pretty close to bed, will that negate its effect?

I'm currently taking a 2-4 week break from agmatine but will try it when I'm finished. How often do you cycle it?

Eating wont negate the effects, and so far studies are fine at long periods without cycling off. I will cycle off maybe every 3 months

I've taken it 1-2g for 30 days straight. No effects. One supp I'd never buy again. Citrulline is runner up, I'm giving another tub a chance and if I dnt see a difference I'm never buying that again too.

Surprising to hear,
How do Nitrates treat you?
