Irish Cannon Recovers with Anabolic Innovations' TestoPRO

I've been to that gym. The 45lb plates are actually 25 lbs....:twak: Ha, just playin man. That's some impressive stuff right there.

My mom's at UA right now but I dont guess your working. :)

Thanks, Pem! It was an exciting day in the gym, that's for sure!

- I'm totally going to give into some of this TestoPRO hunger tonight. I've got a big dinner planned. Lady and I are cooking up something delicious.

Do it bro you deserve it.

My vote also goes to having Diet Crush Orange Soda instead of Diet Sunkist, because Diet Crush actually has 14 kcals per serving (sneaky bastards).

I just had the most amazing chicken stuff with spinach, cabbage and onions with the most amazing sauce on top from this amazing German restaurant. I nearly awesome sauced all over the place. It was amazing.

That's alot of amazings. lol

Great form IC (never doubting you could do it ;) )

. . . I tipped my laptop on it's side to watch it

Bet you got some brusing across your delts after that!

This is actually quite similar to the meal I had. - Except I had a few chicken cutlets instead of half a breast. We tried making a Hawaiian chicken thing that didn't turn out so well. We were kind of experimenting with it last night. Oh well. - I had a dessert, too...A Met-RX Bar!!! :D

That sounds awesome. :D

We have a real good German restaurant across the water from me. 10mins or so. I go there once in a while with my bro.

I'm actually sitting down to some corned-beef hash right now. Some nice Irish fare. I've also got a large bowl of fruit and 2 slices of Ezekiel bread. Waiting for my coffee to finish. - I got back real early this morning (3am) so I woke up quite late.

Ha! Thanks man. - No bruising on the delts. I had a read spot on my clavicle yesterday but it's gone now.

Day 8

Overall Notes:

No new reports for today. I've been slacking on my cardio pretty badly. I only hit it two or three times last week; hopefully I can get in at least 3-4 sessions this week. I was out so late last night I needed to sleep in, and I had things to do when I woke up. I don't really want to go out tonight, but I got asked by some chick I know to go to the Mullet Festival (yes, you heard that right) tonight. It's not really my scene, but it will probably be fun anyways. I'll probably take her up on it. I expect to get in by midnight, so hopefully I can get up early enough tomorrow to hit some fasted cardio.

TestoPRO Notes:

Really nothing new. Same stuff. I don't notice the TestoPRO as much when I'm tired and not training, or when there's not a female latched to my arm. - I was with lady friend last night and had a mad case of gas. I thought I had to take a huge dump but when I sat down to drop it, I let out about a 10second fart. It was insane.

:toofunny:  It doesnt matter how old you are, farts will always be hilarious

lol aint that the truth...just gross

I'm deviating from my normal diet a good bit today. Meal 1 was normal, Meal 3 was normal, but I've had bean soup, extra fruit, and chicken salad in place of Meal 4. Still had my shake with the bean soup. I'm hoping macros are similar. I've got one meal to go. It will probably just be a bar and a big scoop of Dymatize Elite 12hr. If I come across some good looking alligator meat at the festival, I may pick that up too.

Yo man. Did you see the Seinfeld episode for Curb Your Enthusiasm?

Yes, it was awesome. Very entertaining. I downloaded it. I can get you a copy if you want it.

Day 9

Treadmill: 15% incline; 3.1mph; 36mins

Pinwheel Curls: 65x9+6+5 - I had NO gas left after the cardio. I don't remember what I normally get on these.

Overall Notes:

Today was a normal day. Got up, ate, went to work, and then hit the mini-gym after we closed up shop. About to cook up my last meal and get ready for bed. No real updates. Not noticing anything new with the TestoPRO. Everything is pretty calm today. Libido is normal; mood is pretty stable. Just kind of chill-mode right now. Cruisin'.

DOOD nice weight with those Pinwheels!!

The episode is 30 mins. But we can take this to PM.

Day 10

Incline BB Press: 135x15, 155x12, 185x10, 205x4,2Failure - :(
Flat Bench DB Press: 75x 9+6+5+4
HS Decline Press: 270x 8+6+3 = 17

RDL: 135x10, 185x10, 225x10, 275x5, 295x3,3 - Getting back up there! :woohoo:
Good Mornings: 155x 9+5+5 = 19
Prone Leg Curl: 150x 7+4+5 = 16

V-Bar Pressdown: 80x15, 90x12, 95x10, 105x6, 110x4,3
Skullcrusher: 90x 7+5+5 = 17
OH Tricep Extension Machine: 85x 6+6+4 = 16

1/2 Russian Calf Routine: Donkey Calf Raise x 320

Stairmill: 15mins @ Level 5

The only real disappointing part about today was the Incline Bench Press. Either my delts gave out or my chest isn't used to the heavy load after having to go easy on it the last few weeks. My pectoral endurance was horrible today as reflected by my numbers.

Hamstrings were great. Really getting my strength back there. I started doing RDL's as my Max OT exercise rather than the curls; now I can get back to moving the weight again.

Triceps went alright. I was starting to lose focus in my workout. I was very pressed for time today. I got in there about 30mins later than I had planned which is why my calf routine was cut, and 5mins was shaved off of cardio.

I'm not noticing as much alphaness these last few days as I was originally. Feeling pretty beat down and tired. Hopefully I'll pick up as the day wears on a little. I may just need a nap. My sleep has been lacking (6-7hrs/night) which may have a lot to do with it. I need more recovery time. After this log is done, I plan on a good week off to rest. I feel I need it.

I'm considering bumping the dosage to 2/2/2 rather than 2/1/2 which I'm currently on. It may be wise.

Man I cannot wait to start repping 200+ on incline. I say def up it to 2/2/2 and get that extra punch you need right now. I think you may need more being in pct. Us other folk would notice more on 5/day on top of normal test levels.

When your "free" weight chest press lifts suffer, it's usually something to do with your shoulder stabilizing muscles and not so much your chest lacking. This is especially true with the incline bench. Even if a weight that is "traditionally" as light as 205lbs is for your chest, if your shoulder stabilizers aren't liking the amount of pressure they're under, the Golgi Tendon Organ will become activated and the GTO starts to shut down the relative muscle's ability to contract, literally. That's why even on a lame @$$ bench day, you can still go to the Smith or a Machine and not skip a beat in comparison to a good day. It's that darned Golgi Tendon Organ.

I'm going to recycle some advice I gave to Resolve once:

Invalid Link Removed

Give it a session or however many and the threshold for alarm by the GTO's will increase accordingly.

Fun fact, in high velocity lifts or movements, ie... snatch, clean, punching & kicking, one of the positive adaptions from these exercises are the training down of the golgi tendon organ. Now you know and knowing is half the battle.

i would say not to worry about it irish. Anytime i take it light or take a break my bench is really low until I get used to it again ,just hit it hard next week and see what happens.

I got nowhere else to share it but here (for now), but I hit 405lbs on the deads for 5 reps, no belt, no wraps.

you rock Volcom! :head:

Awesome bro! I've been doing a lot of strapless work, myself (not beltless), but I think I've only gotten up to 365x1 on deads. I haven't done them in a month or so.

Nice job bro.

 thanks fellas!!! I'm feel'n tha love. When I first started @$$ raw dead lifting two or three months ago, my sets would stop at 185lbs, because that's all my "natural" grip would allow and all my core felt safe stabilizing without a belt, so I was shocked last night. I've been training my crush grip, pinch grip and sledge hammer curls to legitimately bring up my grip power lifter style and it was pretty satisfying when I pulled my weights last night. Thanks again for the props

Day 11

Some oddball activities today. Schedule was a little off:

Activity 1: Carb up! - I felt like having a high-carb breakfast this morning, so that's exactly what I did. The breakfast consisted of...

1/2 ham steak
5 whole eggs
Mexican cheese blend
1 whole grapefruit
2 slices Ezekiel bread
1 medium bowl Cheerios
16oz Smart Balance 1% Milk
3 SLIN

Activity 2: Got off work early, so I hit the gym on the way back...

Irish Calf Routine - This is the same thing as the Russian Calf Routine, but you do it TWICE! :D

Seated Calf Raise: 100x75 total reps, 3min break, 110x50 total reps, 5min break
Donkey Calf Raise: 300x75 total reps, 3min break, 300x50 total reps

Cardio: Stairmill - 30mins @ Level 5; Bike - 8mins, light pedal

Pre-workout: 1x TestoPRO, 1x Relora, 1x E-911

Post-workout: Nothing - I'll be getting in my normal Meal 4 in a few minutes

That activity 1 looks scrumb-diddly-umptious!

IC, I've been meaning to tell ya, I tried some Arrogant Bastard Ale OAKED while I was in Seattle. I drink the regular ABA a lot, but I had never heard of the OAKED so I got it. It is still really tastey, just a bit different.
