I do not believe in a personal God. And I laid no judgement on the lady who drowned her children. I just set her out as a comparison, judge her as you will. The mental capability is what I ment to touch on. If god were real, would he behave like a mentally handicapped person?

God made a set of laws. And a set of consequences for those laws. No one deserves Gods love, and as it is said the road to heaven is straight and narrow, and few make it. It is for people who are willing to sacrifice to earn it. If you arent willing to chase God, you are dis honed basically. I have a dis honed brother, He turned pretty bad.... Point being, even a father on this earth, if his son is in the wrong, must submit to the judgment of the courts. Though Gods love is endless, he set up the commandments and laws so that the wicked would have to face their fates. Heaven, will not be the most populated place. With most Christians themselves just using the label, and not following the path of Christ.

Eventually you wont have to worry about Christians, as the end times near we will be outlawed. In China, we are murdered by the government, in Korea the same, many places in Africa the same. We have a cause we give our life for. When Christianity was the way of rule, and every government was basically Christian, we had great happenings. Like hte pulling together of the Allies in WWI and WWII, and people were cleaner, and society was reaching peaks. Now as Christianity enters into its fall, the world enters into its darkness.

50 years ago Christian was the norm. Today its cool to be atheist. 50 years ago there was 2 STD's or something, today...I think over 120 forms.

Schools are becoming inefficient, resources are slowly draining, incurable diseases are starting to come about, Genetic mutations or becoming a more common thing.

The rule of thumb today is porn, bear, and parties. Our Governments support system has been destroyed by pre marital births and the governmental supports that are drained by such things.

Eh...I find it pointless to point things out, but in 10 or 20 years, its gona be bad....and all thanks to the persons individual desire to do what they want, reject moral views placed by religion, and fulfill their every desire and temptation.

You cant deny the change brought on by the lowered amount of people who hold high moral standards. but they weren't "fun" enough.

I also believe, men made up "hell" to keep people in fear since early centuries when bible was written by church that wanted to be in control of masses and really has nothing to do with God.

Yes, I read the bible and many more other books. How about you? What did you read besides the bible? More books written by people who know their bible, bible god and nothing about God?

Actually I am reading the Art of War, I have spent time studying Greek mythology because it was fascinating to me. I have read many books on astronomy. Right now I am reading a book called "PlanetKill" My favored readings are usually war torn darker novels. I just took my final for a biology class, that included, yes, evolution. I have read many books, from different genres. I love learning new things. Period.

Dont think I am some Bible brainwashed Christian, I know more than enough of the world, and actually more than most when it comes to the darker side of it. Growing up I found interest in learning the darker side of things.

I have experience in every aspect of life. I have had Pre-marital sex before, actually when I first started going to church. I have drank, my favorite was tequila. I am human, and have experience. Therefore I earn my right to claim what I fought for.

I have seen the soldiers life, suicidal life, everything. Because I had been there at one point.

Before you assume, ask. Assumption is a pompous show of a lack in tact. And that is worded kindly...

God did not write the bible, man did. Man also translated, deleted, omitted, altered, misinterpretted and edited . Then he did it all again, in another language then another group then another editor. The storied have lost much of their original purpose and moral due to this fact and it is obvious in the literal interpretations of persons such as yourself.

The bible is not the be all end all to life. Even if you are christian it is up to you to apply the basic principles of life every second and the bible cannot possibly cover it all in every circumstance so stop finding some way to support rediculousness and see it for what it is.

Most people are so grounded in the meaty, physical, touchable aspect of life. In fact when life is viewed at the smallest visible forms of sub atomic particles it appears all we are is energy and empty space. So when i heard the saying "god made man in his image" it didnt make god humanoid to me rather of energy and therefore would not neccessaily take human form. If god is in everything, to take this literally, is easy to do under this information.

I can see how people feel let down when bad things happen to them and noone or nothing comes to the rescue. It seems we, through our decisions shape our lives and the route and paths we take. Second by second we put our selfs in position for happiness or death. And sometimes its not "fair" but every set back is a learning opportunity and to live "perfectly" may mean that you may enjoy your apple the much more than another who attained it effortlessly.

If i live my life feeling alone, then i am choosing to be alone, for the law of attraction gives me what i most think. At the physical level my hypothalamus makes chains of peptides that tell each of my cells how to behave, and the neuro pathways of my brain forge lasting strong bonds with the emotions that i frequently feel. The receptors for my cells adapt to the incoming peptides and as an adjustment make more receptors to the peptides that are bombarding it most.

Your attitude and positionality directly impact your life experience. It does nothing nor noone any good to be bitter, angry or to blame for wrongs done to us. blame is the step before we learn from our problem and move on, better for it.

I dont think god is a man in a robe waving a wand, curing some, cursing others and if thats who your waiting for to save you then yes, you will be let down everytime.

However if you are positive, happy and refuse to lay in the mud waiting for help then by default you wont need to blame anyone else and by doing so dont need to feel like the victim.

I wont pretend to know more than you or to compete in this conversation for what is right for you is not neccesarily right to me and that is our gift, choice.

I think accepting god is living like a god would and not jumping through the right hoops to get "back-up" when shiet hits the fan, to only be disappointed and angry.

It is not a quest, goal or destination to find god, we were all born perfect, loving, peaceful and happy. Jesus said "be like a child", kids arent usually concerned with being right, just living is enough.
