In the Mail ....

I really enjoy those ‘Merica energy drinks. It’s a toss up for me between those and 3D. Both taste great and give me just enough of a kick to wake up or give me a boost in the afternoon.

They are very refreshing on the taste buds. I will have to try 3D.

Blue Star Nutraceuticals Iso-Smooth Chocolate Peanut Butter

Taste

Chocolate Peanut Butter – Blue Star recently took their whey smooth flavors and introduced them into their isolate protein powder Iso-Smooth. I had the pleasure of trying Whey Smooth Chocolate Peanut Butter in the past and wanted to see how the flavoring would carry over as a pure isolate. Blue Star really perfected the milk chocolate flavor, but the chocolate to peanut butter ratio makes the chocolate in strong command. The peanut butter flavor is on point with a welcoming dense and creamy addition, but it's doesn’t carry enough weight to compliment the chocolate. While the balance is off you do get both elements in a very heavy chocolate flavor. If Blue Star dialed up the amount of peanut butter offered in their protein it would make it a match made in heaven since the chocolate is top-tier.

Mixability

I have had the Blue Star Vanilla Isolate in the past, and this mixes exactly the same. Just like most isolate protein powders on the market the makeup is very fine and thin in nature. It only takes a few shakes in a blender bottle, and this is a protein powder you can even mix with a spoon and cup. When you use a ninja blender there will be no clumps or leftover chunks throughout the protein shake. I am a big fan of mixing 1 scoop of isolate in Greek yogurt to make a protein pudding. After stirring my spoon for 10-15 seconds the protein mixed with ease.

Primeval Labs Mega Pre Black Review

Invalid Link Removed

Invalid Link Removed

Taste

Gummy Bear – I have had Gummy Bear in EAA Max from Primeval Labs, so I expected this to be very similar in nature. What I did notice is with a different ingredient profile the taste is slightly different. Primeval Labs is well known for great flavoring, and it applies here in this upgraded version of their pre-workout. At first sip, you get a very dense, rich, and bold blueberry flavor that is complemented with zesty lemon. The lemon is not overpowering, but just enough to find a happy medium and put together both flavors. While the blueberry is in a much stronger ratio when both flavors pair together it makes for a very refreshing experience. While EAA Max may have a slight edge in flavoring, this is yet another enjoyable addition to the Primeval Labs lineup.

Mixability

I have tried Mega Pre White, Red, and Black all three pre-workouts mix with ease. Give it 10-15 shakes in a blender bottle and you should have no clumps on the side of your shaker. Just like with most of the products on the line they mix with ease. This is across the board for their pre-workouts and protein powders. I have even tried mixing this with a spoon and I did have no issues when doing so. Even if you removed the blender ball from a shaker cup this should not cause any mixing issues.

Core Nutritionals Pumpkin Spice Isolate

Taste

Pumpkin Spice – Core isolate has a texture that is incredibly smooth and decadent but not too dense. It isn’t light by any means but it carries a perfect rich pumpkin flavor with a good dose of spices. The one-two punch of pumpkin purée and cinnamon are noticed upon your first sip without being too overpowering. While the pumpkin flavor is very deep and impressively true with subtle notes of cinnamon and nutmeg that are present but far from aggressive. It isn’t terribly spicy but it is very accurate to the balance of flavors. Overall Core found a very happy medium between spice and pumpkin to bring you the best of both worlds.

Mixability

Core Nutritionals Isolate protein powder mixes with ease. The powder is extremely light and the second it hits the liquid in a shaker cup of blender it will start to dissolve. I found 6oz of liquid to be a sweet spot to capture the true flavor of the product. I also like to mix 1-2 scoops with yogurt to form a protein pudding. The isolate does mix with no clumps and is on the thin side. That is to be expected when you have a pure cold filtered isolate with no extra added ingredients besides flavoring.

Core Nutritionals Isolate is a cold filtered isolate. The only other ingredients are natural/artificial flavors, cinnamon extract, and sucralose. The addition of cinnamon is there to help bring out the true pumpkin spice compliment. Overall you are getting a very clean and pure product with no extra-added ingredients.

^same! Lol

But he’s a stand up guy and takes care of others, definitely an awesome trait you don’t see very often.

I might have to hit him up for some Sparta fruity cereal. I have no idea why, but I have a craving to try it. Maybe it’s because my wife’s pregnant and I’ve been getting some weird cravings too.....

Stocked up on fuel back in September and had an issue with the one I just opened on Monday. I made @The Solution aware of the issue, just so he would know about it. Well just now I got a care package in. He replaced the entire order with 4 tubs, 3 in pink burst(goat) flavor, plus he threw in a full sized muscle milk and some samples. All in 3 days time. Bob definitely went way above and beyond. Thanks bobInvalid Link Removed

FUEL Sour Watermelon Wedges.
Thought I would give this free sample from who else but @The Solution a quick review.
Mixes with 4-5 shakes (8 oz. of water). No residue. (This is not carbonated)
Flavor: The watermelon smell is definitely there when you tear open the package.
The flavor is a very very light fresh watermelon (Not candy like). I don't get much sour. the after taste is very light as well, oddly it's more watermelon candy. Like I sucked on a Watermelon Jolly Rancher about 5 min. ago.

Campus Protein Strawberry Kiwi & Peach Rings Fuel Review

Invalid Link Removed

Invalid Link Removed

Taste

Strawberry Kiwi – This flavor is very true to its label. Right away a dense strawberry flavor meets a subtle kiwi aftertaste. The Strawberry takes the priority, but the Kiwi is strong enough to give you the best of both worlds. I found this to be extremely refreshing just like Sour Watermelon wedges, but it provides a bit more due to the kiwi inclusion. If I were to break this down I would say it is 70% Strawberry and 30% Kiwi.

Invalid Link Removed

Peach Rings –When you think Peach rings I think of candy that is sugary and sweet. This is a 180 with a very bold and dense peach flavor that has a sweet and luscious aftertaste. This is a flavor that will grow on me the more I drink it. I will say this if you truly enjoy peach this will be a home run with how strong the product is flavored. I did pick up a small note of sour, which helps enhance the depth of the flavor.

Ranking of Fuel Flavors:
1) Pink Burst (Pink Starburst Replica)
2) White Frost (White Monster Replica)
3) Strawberry Kiwi
4) Sour Watermelon Wedges
5) Baja Breeze (Baja Blast Replica)
6) Peach Rings
7) Lemon Drop
** Remember I am not a big lemon or peach fan, but it is very refreshing **

Mixability

CP Fuel mixes with ease. Just touching the water the powder will start to dissolve. I even mixed with a spoon in water and had nothing stick to the cup. I was amazed at how flawless this does mix. In a blender bottle or shaker bottle, you will have no particles floating around or any foaming. This is a huge plus to the product especially if you ware on the go and want to just add it to a water bottle and slug it down.

Cost

Fuel can be had for around 40-60 Cents/Serving when on sale.

It is a good source of “Fuel” to help as a study aid, get me up, or day-to-day energy drink/coffee replacement. If you add up spending $2-3 per energy drink, coffee, or going into a gas station and grabbing a drink it's a very cost-effective product to give you the energy you need to stay.

Got home today with some new fuel samples. Will get you a review shortly. Again, another example of customer service at its best!!
Thanks Bob

Thanks to @TheSolution for the samples of the new flavors of Fuel. Tried the Peach Ring flavor this morning.
Let me begin by saying I'm not a big fan of peach and peach flavored anything, so I wasn't exactly looking forward to trying this flavor. I was pleasantly surprised, as I found the flavor refreshing and something I would actually drink from time to time.
I have tried several of the Fuel flavors and since I'm not big on peach, this doesn't rank within my top 3. This is a cheap alternative to energy drinks and that's how I use it, since I drink 1 to 2 energy drinks a day.

@The Solution sent me 2 new fuel flavor samples that drop for BF.

Strawberry Kiwi:
This is a very refreshing flavor and it has a very candy-like taste. I would definitly have liked a more balanced flavor split with more kiwi. I can’t call it strawberry kiwi because i hardly tasted any kiwi. To me it was a strawberry candy.

Peach rings:
This was absolutely delicious. Your drinking a liquid peach candy gummy with a very light light sour after taste to give the flavor an extra kick. I loved it.

The flavors lately have been outstanding. Fraction of a dollar per serving to use as an energy drink and saves money compared to a ready-to-drink canned energy drink. A+

Tried the strawberry kiwi flavor this morning and I agree with everyone else on the flavor. More strawberry flavor with a slight hint of kiwi. Flavor was still enjoyable and something I would think about purchasing.

Fuel Strawberry Kiwi
Mixes very easy like all the Fuels
Still the best value for an energy drink on the market $.40-.60 per serving!
Flavor: Rate 7.5/10 This hits with a sweet strawberry on first taste and fades nicely. I get a little kiwi in the after taste but have to think about it. IF it didn't say kiwi i would think this was all strawberry.

My wife loved it!

Flavor: 9.5/10 I really enjoyed this one! They nailed the Gummy peach ring flavor on this one.
This hits first with that canned peaches flavor at first, then that nice sweet with just a little sour on the after taste.
