Just polished off another tub of FP last week. Jumped back over to mango for the time being ?

Aww man. Haven't tried the blood orange yet, do love mango but watermelon is my jam. Prob fav flavor of bcaa of any brand all time

So I go the hookup from The Solution to give this bad boy a shot.

the hype is real. It has to be the best flavor yet. Scivation has one of the bet flavors around in mango hands down, yet this is better than that. Yes people it is that dang good. Imagine suckling on the teet of Aphrodite herself. This stuff is something from another planet. Taste is a 10/10 hands down. 1Fast400 hands down killed this flavor. Not too sweet not too bitter, hits all the right notes. Scivation is killing the game. Love this stuff a lot
 
Glad I took The Solution's recommendation. Flavor is 100% legit blood orange. Awesome taste and proven blend, plus 0 carbs and 0 sugar makes a no brainer. Throw in that NutraPlanet hookup and it's like Christmas all over again

Mild strawberry flavor with first sip with a stronger mango flavor following. I've had the straight mango flavor xtend perform and they're VERY similar with the exception that the standard xtend tastes more-so like a watered down mango (also the slight hint f strawberry)

Nailed the flavor, that's for sure. No chalky aftertaste, residue or film either.

Got this in yesterday and man is it tasty!
I can confirm that the strawberry flavor hits you initially and then the mango comes through pretty strong and stays for the aftertaste. Very crisp and clean flavor. No BCAA taste at all or any chemical taste. I'd put this flavor third on my Xtend favorites, right behind blood orange and regular mango

From what I have read yes. I'll update you later as well as I should have one here today
 
It is a different mango flavor. It's actually a true mango, was built more for our international partners where mango's are consumed regularly.

Also received my care package today from TheSolution and 1Fast400

Very generous of these guys to give forum members a chance to review this.

Mixed one scoop today in about 14oz of water and it was very pleasant. I kept it at 14oz to get a good feel for the actual taste but normally I will probably use 16-18oz. The taste was spot on in regards to the mango. As stated previously mango is my favorite fruit but it has to be a nice juicy mango (none of that precut and prepackaged hard stuff) and this tasted really close that. A nice sweet mango flavor with a subtle strawberry taste. One of the best tasting aminos I have had tbh. Doesn't have that "normal" aminos taste. Scivation has done a good job in the flavoring department for this one. Thanks again!

Straw/mango review

Thanks to scivation for sending me this to try more importantly TheSolution
So just a quick history in my BCAA consumption... I typically stick to 3-4 different BCAA's alternating between CORE ABC, XTEND, Intra blast and purple wraath!

Out of all of those I usually stick to watermelon flavored things even though I don't like watermelon as a food. Previously I absolutely loved watermelon xtend and I never really changed the flavor except for Apple just once(which was good) but bounced right back to watermelon. I have also tried the black cherry xtend perform and thought that was the strongest flavoring on a bcaa I have had until I tried this.

Mixability- 5/5 - never have I had a problem mixing xtend.. I think most can agree it mixes really well and leaves no clumping, along with no really powder patches at the bottom and when your done your shaker isn't stained either.

Mouth feel- 5/5-- sometimes certain flavors/colors it stains your teeth or leaves a gritty feeling on your mouth or gives a bad aftertaste. This doesn't give this in fact after going down you still have a blast of the mango.

Ingredients- 5/5-- You getting what you pay for with this
L-Leucine 3,500mg L-Glutamine 2,500mg L-Isoleucine 1,750mg L-Valine 1,750mg Electrolyte Blend: 1,140mg
Trisodium Citrate Dihydrate, Potassium Chloride, Sodium Chloride Citrulline Malate (1:1) 1,000mg
A nice well rounded product.

Dosing-- For this I take 1 scoop pre workout and 1 scoop intra... 90 percent of the time I train fasted..that being said I like to get a dose of the bcaa's in pre workout. I feel that it helps just to have something A-that taste good, and B- the electrolytes alone help out.

TASTE-- PRetty sure this is what everyone wants--- IMO this is the strongest/tart flavor I have tried in the XTEND collection. it mixes darkish orange I would say( I'm a little bit color blind though) and based off the color I was thinking the red from the strawberry would give it more of a strawberry taste.. but I was wrong I thought this flavor was much more mango then strawberry. That being said you can still taste it. I would put this as my second flavor still behind watermelon. There is nothing artificial tasting IMO about this . It really is a nice fruity drink , and I enjoy drinking.

It also doesn't seem how much water I mix with this the flavor is just as strong with 16oz as it is with 32.. pretty impressive stuff.
I have only used this a few times now but I have had good workout.. my recovery... can't comment now as I am actually sick at the moment.. strep throat.

I scooper right at the top no digging!!!
Overall the XTEND legend continues on with another terrific flavor

For some reason I had a hard time with the pictures will try to get them up shortly

I've been using the stuff for 8 years and love it. Everyone I have suggested it to, also seems to like it. My recent bud said it has definitely helped during his workouts.

Better hydrated and able to go longer and better recovery.

Blueberry Muffin - The Blueberry flavor is very dominant from first sip and has a very long lasting aftertaste. Just opening the tub the aroma fills the room with the scent of a blueberry muffin. There is no artificial taste, but has a bold blueberry flavor. This reminded me of a blueberry scone that has a slight glaze/buttery aftertaste to it. The elements of the muffin (buttery/glaze) flavor and the dense blueberry flavor make this a great fruity addition to the MTS Lineup. While I am usually not a big fruit guy when it comes to protein powders, this is a great rotation flavor to have on his line. I have to say I was surprised at how good this one was. Apple Pie was good; this one beats it as a fruit flavor in my opinion. This one just falls short of my top 5 flavors off Marc’s Lineup.

Mixability

All MTS Flavors mix with ease. I have not had a problem with any flavor, and I have had over a dozen off Marc's line. Mix this in 6-8oz of water and no problems. Mix in sludge (with water or yogurt) no problems, and the countless recipes I have made all mix with ease. This is a good thing about MTS to know is that you won't have a problem mixing this.

Very straight forward here. WPI/WPC Blend with a few added artificial sweeteners, sucralose and that is about it. Marc does not put a lot of junk into this formula. It is very basic, tastes great, and has good macros. Some of the flavors can get a bit high (cookies and cream, black forest cake, Red Velvet with ~4g fat)

Cost

55$ for a 5lb Tub. It is a limited flavor, who knows if there will be any deals for when this is in stock. From time to time Marc does run 10-20% off his MTS Line, so if you happen to be lucky you could find MTS whey on sale. For limited flavors that is not always the case. Keep your eyes peeled you could get it for under 50$ if on sale, or if you are at a local trade show.
For 10$/lb that is pretty much the standard on the supplement industry due to the cost of raw materials, not to mention this flavor may not come back after it is sold out.

Flavor Review

I'll start off this flavor review by saying that my favorite flavor of Xtend currently is Mango Nectar and closely followed by Pineapple. These two in my opinion are way ahead of the others, but flavoring is also personal preference so some of you may dispute the top two flavors.

Instructions say mix with 8-16 oz of water. So I started with 8 oz and increased to 12, 16, and finally 20 (I like a full shaker when working out!).

In 8oz of water, the strawberry flavor is quite pronounced and the mango flavoring is rather subtle. As you increase the water content (still only with one scoop of the powder in the shaker), the sweet fruity strawberry flavor starts to lessen and the mango flavor begins to take over, resulting in a very similar flavor to mango nectar, though with the hint of strawberry on the finish.

Overall, EXCELLENT job on the new flavor of Xtend by Scivation, and I could easily sip on this stuff all day long without suffering from palate fatigue! Great job guys!
