Gang…could use a knee sleeve recommendation! Looking on Amazon and there’s a lot to pick from.

Been rolling the quads/hams/ hips plus massage and ice…working hard at fixing some ‘runners knee’ which found as I started having sharp knee pain coming up from atg rest pause squats…First time dealing with this in 15+ years of squats and ‘leg days’

Been wearing an old light, grocery store pair that’s convinced me this is something I’d benefit from.

Not competing in anything…just trying to stay in the game, rehab, pre-hab…Get my squat back in to the 3’s…throw another couple wheels on the leg press…

Was thinking about the stoics…as I really like the belt I use from them. Watched a video on them from Thrall and he said the stitching behind the knee was annoying and that would bother the crap outta me too. Thanks Al’ !

These are cheaper than neoprene ones, will last radically longer (I’ve never seen polyester knee sleeves wear out), and actually give better support. You must can’t use them in raw powerlifting, but the single-ply are designed for sustainable support through a full leg day; they are not for max rebound/performance. With that in mind, when in doubt looking at the sizing chart, always choose the larger size.

That company also makes EXCELLENT wrist wraps, for like $20.

Stress & Anxiety support is a good essential supp to add. I've been taken a serving pre bed time and it works pretty well to clear my mind.

When in doubt, when training comfort (not max performance) is priority, ALWAYS go up a size. I never regret this. I have regretted going down every time.

Was about to ask the same question. Wondering how those vegan protein powders are compared to others. From my experience I haven't found a solid tasting vegan protein powder.

Yikes, the Gaspari Vegan Protein is not good at all - very bland and not much chocolate flavor. It is sweetened with stevia so that probably contributes to it. I'll circle back on the Isopure after I get through the first tub of Gaspari.

Although high quality, I have never really had an isopure shake i liked. Too watery,and the flavor was always lacking to me. However, I haven't tried any of their protein in a few years because it is such a premium price for something I have never really enjoyed. Hopefully it has gotten better.

Local liqour store is finally selling single bottles of the GHOST hydration drinks, so finally getting around to trying them. Redberry is quite sweet, but not as obnoxiously sweet as the energy drink. Really needs to be ice cold though.

Cotton Candy RYSE might be my favorite CC flavored drink though. Really good.

I bought a few of these Ryse energy drinks the other week to try - Cotton Candy was flat out bad to me. I thought to myself, ‘Well it’s just one flavor, all brands have better & worse offerings and palates differ.’

I have since tried Sunny D and Kool Aid Fruit Punch - they were even worse!!! I haven’t had energy drinks this disappointing in a long time, and to boot the profile is garbage. I could forgive it if there was a decent blend going, but for a flavored caffeine tab…frankly, I don’t see how a brand who does so well in their protein flavoring could be so lousy with their carbonated drinks.

Just a fair warning from a different perspective!

If you want fruit punch, try the new Cellucor Hawaiian Punch. In general, Cellucor is pretty consistent in terms of flavoring for drinks.

Yes, I do think Cellucor does great flavoring in general. And I don’t expect most brands to be that good, nor do they need to be that good. I will generally drink all manner of stuff without much complaint. But I still have one Ryse flavor left and it’s just sitting in the fridge - I don’t even want to touch it honestly.
 
I had a Alani pink slushi from the gas station this morning, man that was delicious. I will have to try more of there flavors.

Speaking of ICCE i've been drinking the sparkling water ICE brand and i've been enjoying the taste of those. I've never been a fan of sparkling water until I tried the mango flavored one and it was pretty good.

I remember being let down by the Sunny D, moreso because it tasted just like a standard orange flavor, not actual Sunny D. I did like the Kool Aid FP though. That and the Ring Pop are the ones I get most from them.

Honestly it’s nothing to do with how close it is to a certain flavor - I enjoy generic orange flavor quite a bit. The Ryse actually just taste generally bad to me.

This was my experience too, I got 2 flavors last week and both were ass. Not enjoyable at aLL.
 
Hunted some more BioSteel plant protein since it was decent along with some other goodies. Got a ton of bars for upcoming vacation.
