hmm gaining 20 pounds on anavar is not normal

and i have seen people say that 40mg is so weak it's a waste, 60-80mg.

and I have seen people that just tell me not to bother trying anavar because it's just not worth the money. You need a good dose for a long time. Personally I think you are far better off with Epi.

I've heard that it's challenging to even find avanar that is legit. Supposedly a lot of stuff labeled as avanar, is actually Dbol. I've never ordered any, so I don't know if it's true. That might explain a 20lb gain.

Weight 163.5.......... 179 (+15.5)

Dose: 45 mg epi-strong

My weight seems to tapping out at this number; however I am seeing increased vascularity than when I was 163-164 and I'm heavier which is crazy Strength is starting to re-escalate

Here are the numbers:

1. DB Shoulder Press- 65 (8); 65 (6.5); 60 (6); 60 (4); 35 (15, then 5!)

2. Lateral DB Raise - 35 (15!); (12!), (10!)

3. Bent Over Lateral Raise on incline bench for strictness - 27.5 (11) tough !!; 27.5 (9); 20 (20!!)

4. BB Curl - 70 (10,8); 80 (5!)

5. 21's Reverse BB Curl - 40!40!40!

6. Seated Zottman DB Curl - 20 (11); 20 (9)

7. Dips to fail with weight - +45 (8) (4); +35 (5) (4); BW only (7)

8. Rope Pressdown on thick cables - 40 (10); 50 (9); 40 (8)

9. V Bar Pressdown on thick cables - 60 (14.5); 70 (8); (7); 30 (20!)

Nice work today man! Love those weighted dips man, hit 5x10 of them today myself. Before you know it youll be in the 2 plate mafia hanging 2 plates from your waist doing dips lol!
 
Day 29 update

Holding steady at 179; weight has stalled despite increase in calories.
Recomping right now and getting leaner!!! Vascularity is up; joints are good with glucosamine and 10gfishoil/day. Libido steady; Vascularity increasing. And Strength is up!! Update later today!
 
it sounds like you respond to epi like i do. Unless I eat insanely dirty I just start dropping weight on it.

Katana is wrecking havoc on my joints. I think my cycle is going to end up looking like yours soon.

i've never dosed epi that high but I've never really dried out from it. I think I would probably do better on katana at 250 mg vs 350mg. I might try it again, who knows. Epi makes me want to go all rambo in the gym.
 
Yeh Epi is an awesome compound, but that dryness on the joints gets pretty insane at 60mg. I ran at 60mg for the last 3 weeks and had supplement the sh*t out of fish oil, glucosamine, and MSM.

Great job on your cycle bro! 15 lbs. is no joke...and MDXT has to be the real deal!!

Day 30/31 update

Dose: 45 mg epi-strong
Just gonna show the leg day that I had today, and wow strength is really up still!! But I am equally glad that my joints are holding well, if not stronger

1. ATG Squat: 265 (5), 285 (5), 290 (4) almost!; 160 (20!) these are starting to increase drastically, that it's almost scary :439:

2. Stiff Legged DL: 235 (5!); (5!); 240 (4!)

3. Hack Squat: 3 plate each side (5,5,5!)

4. Seated Calves for 2 plate and 25: goal is 75 reps to failure and it took me a lot of sets!

Weight 163.5.............. 176??????? (12.5) Despite my increase in calories in accordance to my weight gain; I am still drying out! I don't even think I can stomach an addition 200-300 calories without puking my guts out; but as long as the mirror is looking good, I'll take it! But if I keep losing more weight, I may have to re-increase calories

Sick man! those atg squats are makin me achy just reading them. **** the scale man take the look and the power! Ive been strugglin to eat enough lately also. two table spoons natural almond butter or adding 2 table spoons EVOO into a shake is an easy way to add some extra calories and good fats.
 
Day 31 update

Weight: 163.5................179.8! (+16.3lbs)

Dose: 45 mg epi-strong

Woke up this morning to this weight!! I drank a ton of water yesterday and cranked up the protein macros a bit to 310-320 g!! I think the epi is starting to fully crank in it's effects, because I'm feeling strong as hell, leaner, more vascular and nearly 0 DOMS, except after a heavy deadlift session


Today's workout

1. Wide-grip Pullup with weight - +35 (5), +35 (4.5); +25 (5); BW only (6.5)

2. Incline DB press - 70 (5!!); 75 (5!!!); 75 (3.75ouch haha)

3. Lateral DB raise - 45 (5!!!); 45 (5); 45 (5)! 12.5 (20 reps with a 5 sec pause at the top, talk about a BURN!)

4. Behind the back BB shrug - 115 (20!); 115 (15); 115 (15)

5. DB alternate curl - 42.5 (5); 42.5 (4); 35 (5)

6. Reverse Tricep bar pressdown - 130 (5); 140 (5); 140 (4); 100 (10!,10!)

Weight: 163.5............... 182.0!!!! (+18.5)

i think the epi is fully kicked in now

If you look back an update or so he was down like 2.5-3lbs or so...maybe dehydration, weighed in different clothing, any number of reasons. But Im thinking over the next few days he got that weight back and then an additional 3lbs.

Deadlift day!

1. Deadlift 70% no belt

4 reps = 365
4 reps = 365
4 reps = 365
4 reps = 365

2. Deadift 80%
2 reps = 405!
2 reps = 405!

3. Deadlift 90%
2 reps = 435!!! solid now
2 reps = 435! tougher but still solid

4. Snatch Grip Deads on blocks
5 reps = 350 (only got 4)
5 reps = 350 (only got 4 here too :( )

5. 75 reps seated Calves to failure= 2plate+25

just for fun I just calculated the total amount of loaded weight today (minus the set of calves and it came out to 12000 lb load holy **** hahah)
 
does belted really make that big of a difference? I haven't done belted deadlifts or squats in about 6 months now
 
Hell yea man nice deads for sure, i can feel your pain! Im just recovering from my last dead lift day where i made that video lol. I am really curious as to your DL max. When do you plan on testing it out?
 
thanks brother! how sore are u? hahahah do u remember ur warmup scheme before maxing out?? I don't know the best numbers to hit before trying a max :( I may have to give it a shot before the cycle ends!
 
Im not sure there's a standard set number or reps your suppose to do just make sure your warmed up and ready before hitting the big weight to reduce risk of inury. I usually do 135 for 5, 225 for a set of 5, 315 for 3-4, 425 for 1-2. But this last time i hit a 10 rep warmup set with 135 then hit single's in 50 and 40lb increments until i got to 495 where you saw me almost die lol. I had no intentions of going past 455 that day but it went up way to easy to just stop, curiosity got the best of me!!!

Day 39 update:

Weight: 163.5......... 182 steady (+18.5)

Dose: 60 mg epi-strong

Main side effects so far: : Lethargy is prevalent at 60 mg for damn sure... Back pumps are minimal and were worse with MDXT...

I'll be compressing the last 2 workouts in this log: the numbers are getting ridiculous and I'm working these weights I have never even touched haha
